You are right. Just returned from Honduras. Nicaragua has 5 to 1 bonitas over Honduras. Honduras has everything else, LOL. But the bonitas are what we are on here for right! Hotelito Kelly is worth a stay.

I was there last January also. Definatley the best time to go. Was there in July and it was quite hot and sticky. Rained about every day. Good reason to stay indoors with the chicas, if you need one. .

Highly recommend Hotel Cristo Rey - was there for 13 days in October/ November and excellent in every way (helps if you speak Spanish) - I will be returning for two weeks in December - send me a private e-mail if you want to possibly get together.

Me and my Wingman on Nov. 2nd will be doing 2 weeks in Nicaraqua. We plan on seeing the Captial and then hitting the 2 Corn Islands and then a stop in Granda. This is our first trip to this country and I welcome any tips you guys might have. As usual my trip reports will follow.
