I will be in Frankfurt during August 23-31, mostly visiting the big clubs, ie Oase, World, and Sharks. It'll be cool to meet up with some of the members here and share some FKK experiences.

Will be hanging out in FRA and hitting the larger clubs during this timeframe. Will have a rental car. Anyone else there during this time? (Note: If you've ever been accused of being boring, cheap or a DB, you need not reply!

Posts: 293The food was good in samya but not a lot. The food at goldentime was even better and plentiful.
BTW, I don't know about Samya during the day, but after visiting samya on Saturday night and GT on Sunday, I had better GF6 at Goldentime.
It is a strong candidate for Wednesday.

Hi, I've been regular to Fkk (world, Oase, Palace) from 2000 to 2009. Now I'll be in FRA for 10 hours next Sunday. My plan was to go to Sharks, since I never been there, but then I discovered dietzenbach. If there is a colleague that wants to join we can go together or meet there.

Posts: 1I will be flying into Frankfurt on 14/8 and leaving on the 28/8. I plan on visiting Kln at some point during my trip. It'll be my first attempt at an FKK, thank you for the wealth of information that you've all provided.
I hope to be visiting either Sharks or Mainhattan on 14/8. PM me if you're around or have any suggestions.

About red wine germany produces also meanwhile a (very) good quality. But for same quality on red wine you pay for german red wine much more than for very good red wine from Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Argentina, Chile or Australia.

But additional to this two times in year in spring and fall the wine- growing estates have the so called " open wine cellar" were you also can try all the wines. And I prefer the spring date because the new vintage of Riesling is on testing and for sale. And it's not so crowded like the summer festival and the best wines aren't already sold out.

Posts: 4343Maybe offtopic, but German wines are hugely under-rated nowadays (mainly because of all the rubbish wines exported by Germany, and because of poor qualitatswein controls some decades ago) and are extremely good value.

for those coming to frankfurt or traveling in the rhein-main-region and who are interested to taste the famous german riesling wine: one of the biggest wine festivals in germany starts today, friday, august 8th, right in the center of the city of wiesbaden, it will last for 10 days until august 17th. wiesbaden can be easily reached from frankfurt via trains.
"over 100 vintners await you with a huge selection of still and sparkling wines. let yourself be inspired and amazed by the diversity of the realm of the grape, and discover new, fascinating tastes. ".
besides the wine and good food, there are three music stages with lots of great local bands playing there during those ten days!
