I am from California. I have a choice of taking a trip to Prague or kiev for 4 or 5 days. I have been to Prague 3 times in the last two years, so I am familiar with the seen there, I have not been to Kiev. I dont speak Czech or Russian.

my budget is about $500-$600 per day on pussy.

I am hoping some of you will help me choose between the two cities! in your oponion which is better for Mongering?

I'm trying (though failing miserably) to remain cordial, but I just don't like the way that any new poster is immediately berated. I don't see the point. Yes, I get it, you know a lot more about Kiev than most posters, other than your clique - but if you succeed in driving every newbie away, what will be the point of this thread? - if you really wanted, the 5 or 6 of you could start your own private chatroom on Yahoo/ICQ/whatever.

Personally, I like to read the experiences of new guys, even if they don't have in depth knowledge of the lay of the land....

I agree, for anyone who can at least get by in Russian, there are infinitely better places than RP, Arena, etc. I'm just finding them, as I haven't been in Kiev long......For me, I even have to avoid the most central places, as my Russian is so-so, and any girl that speaks English immediately busts into English with me (which drives me nuts.....I wouldn't go busting into Russian if I met a Russian in the U.S., and I do meet plenty of Russians, with poor English speaking skills, in the U.S.).

I'm not questioning the veracity of your information on RP - my original response, explaining how/where I based my information - was to suggest I don't have terribly reliable information, having only recieved pricing from 2 girls, and anecdotes from other guys there.

For what its worth, the pricing I got from one girl was in line with your information (even a little less), but she is in the same business (when she's not working RP) as me, and was probably hoping for some business from me (other than night-time), so I didn't consider the pricing reliable.

I don't remember what the pricing of the second girl was, I wasn't terribly interested in her, and I have wandering eyes.

For someone who speaks Russian, as you point out, the girls from the various sites are a much better deal. Not all the photos are fake - namely, the ones where face is not shown tend to be real. However, most of these girls, in my experience, don't speak English - which is probably why you won't find them at RP, and their prices are more reasonable.

I too just go to RP, on occasion, because I like the place overall. One bartender even remembered me - I had only been there once before, over 6 months ago. Probably because I spent the whole night hitting on the one girl that isn't available for take-home...

Like Cruiser, I make no apologies about my comments to Mark D's posts. Why? Very simple.

There have been many posts by actual shills for the agencies here who started off exactly as Mark D did. They were rightly attacked and they also defended their postings but they were shills and employees of those agencies. Do we need them here? No.

Also, Mark D's list of sites can fully be found in many posts in this forum. He gives us nothing new except a list that you may not have to search through more than a few posts to compile. In fact, I can add a few more but it would be senseless since it would be the same girls and the same fake photos.

As for RP, I have not been there in years. No need.

As a fluent Russian speaker there are literally millions of ladies out there who speak no English and who are available, all ages sizes and types. I have had many misses but the hits have also been more than I can even handle at times. And almost always it has been in local places and at local events. And this, Cruiser, as you know, is someone in the 50+ category and hirsute challenged! Yet my success rate would make many much younger men jealous to no end.

Actually Street what makes it all the more worse is you speak Russian and I don't. I usually start a conversation with privet dyevushka! kak dela? and then follow it up with a quick, I hope you speak English because that is all the Russian I know -it's quite the ice breaker, but once again I'll give most of the credit to my tie. My luck with the ladies in Kiev and sometime unluck with them has been noted by many ISG members in person, I don't have anything to prove. Sometimes I do get into a war of words online but that is generally due to someone misrepresenting or misinforming. Things like - there is no public transportation to RP - when there is indeed a metro station 100m across the street, at an intersection where there is quite a few traffic lights.

Traffic in Kiev has gotten so bad it usually better to take the metro during peak hours and at least get out of the ring of traffic before catching a cab. Would I take the metro instead of a cab to go to RP, no. RP is never a first choice of mine but I can be easily talked into it because I always have fun there. I can't remember the last RP girl I took home - maybe just before Eurovision in 05. The only thing sadder then waiting for the 5am bargin at RP is waiting for the metro to open at 6am.

Bottom line is your assement of RP is flawed. It may be what you personally experienced. What I base my experience on is my own - 9 trips to Kiev averaging about 5 weeks per trip. And the experience of some sexpat buddies who live in Kiev at least half the year and are heavy vistors to RP - I wonder if there is a RP anonmous group. .

As far as Mark D making two brief posting saying how great this one website is and two girls in particular I'll stay with my first impression that he is a shill. There are some user here who information rings true and I have told many to turn to for advice - Dr S, Uke Boy, Irish Lad, 109 - all of whom I hope to see again this winter. Am I an expert on Kiev? I think so, and so do the people who ask me for directions in Russian during the weekend.

metro to rp - not worth bothering, as cabs can be grabbed relatively cheaply in the center, and i'm not into shooting across ukrainian high-speed traffic, if i can avoid it.

cd - yes, i get it. you are amazing, and the rest of us are worthless. it comes through in your posts often enough. in fact, when you go outside, you snap your fingers, and a harem of women drop to their knees, "please, cd, please can we smoke your johnson....". when cabs stop for you, they say, "normally, i'd charge you 30 griven, but because you are so hot, you make me gay, so i'll only charge 20."

Yeah, RP isn't near any public transportation unless you count the Dnipro metro station across the street. Anyone know if any short buses run to RP? I bet you could make a fortune charging 10uah pp from Bessarabska and Maydan running on the hour - of course you'd be found floating in the Dnipro about a week later when the taxi mafia catches up to you.

The good Doctor is right 30uah to RP and 50uah from RP is current normal pricing. If you are a taxi king such as myself you can easily get 20 and 30. I went to RP three times last trip, my druges pay for the taxi there - it's never my idea to go to RP and I paid for it back - 30uah - one girl had a car and 50uah (A Kiev newbie from ISG wanted to get home ASAP with his date). Me no speaka the Russki, but I do know how to walk to the curb and find a cheaper cab. I've had drivers actually quote me 100uah or more - 100uah is the current taxi service rate to go to Borispol, which I pointed out to them. They counted with RP is a high class club. I counted with, while laughing no RP is not. Arena, Decadance, Tsar are, RP is so so club.

I am fairly sure on my pricing of the girls Street. I hang with a group of sexpats who the staff at RP know by name. When a girl says $300/hr or $500/night she is really saying, no I really don't want to fuck you (for whatever reason) but if you are stupid enough to pay that I'll spread my legs for you - can you feel the love?

Dr, it's been my experience that only newer pro's have a favorite cabbie. I picked up a semi pro gem at 112 last winter - or I should say she picked me up. She was on me within 15 minutes of me being in 112. She was fantastic ($100) and had a cabbie she used to use all the time. This trip she had put on a kilo or two (too much club food and drinks), didn't do BBBJCIM with me anymore but she still liked to get sprayed. She wanted to leave after 90 minutes - it was late/early around 5-6ish and keep hitting me up for more money over the $100 - I gave her 30uah for a taxi. She sms'ed me a few times after that to meet. I alway replied with sure, if you want to have sex for free. Oh yeah my point, not only had she lost any shred of innocence she had but she had also ditched her 'favorite' taxi driver. Who she (they) might be paying to hang around outside in case anything happens. Kiev girls are a lot of things but stupid genereally isn't one of them, greedy (the proper usage of the term, not the stupid Russian bimbo use of the term when they mean to say 'cheap', of course the ironic part being they are the ones generally being greedy) generally is.

Getting There: Its not near any public transport, but any cabbie will know how to get there. From center, shouldn't be more than 30 grivens, as Dr. Skank points out. Firm negotiating and/or stopping a beater cab can get the job done for 20 to 25.

Getting Home: There are always cabs sitting out front. They collude. 50 Grivens, minimum. If you speak no Russian, I suspect they may even try to hit you up for more. Solution: Get the phone number of the cab that brought you there - call him when you are ready to leave - he'll come pick you up (that's if he's still awake at 3 am....).

The most fun is negotiating with all the cabs out front, going from one to another, listening to them insist on 50 grivens. Once you've haggled with the last cab, they figure they've got you. But wait! You've already called your cab to come pick you up! And here he is!

Some taxi cabs are even asking for 100 grivnas... and then go down to 50...
