I'm off to Odessa this Friday. Not sure what to expect given the weather, although it was encouraging that most of the decent apartments were already rented for the Valentine's weekend. I'll be hitting up the usual combination of strip joints, bars, and reconnecting with one of the agencies there.

Drop me a line if anyone else is around and wants a wingman.

I will be in Kiev March 3 to Mar 7 for a short vacation. I have never been there before and would be happy to meet up with someone who knows the ropes.

I have read the suggestions in the forums for short term apartment rental. Does anyone have any more current suggestions?

How long do you plan on staying outside?

RP closes at 6am. I've seen three superbowls there (and one at arena). They haven't kicked us out yet at RP.

Sorry, I meant it is cold at this time of year there.

If they stay open till 6am then it should be all good.

So this means the 3rd Annual River Palace Superbowl Ho Down is on!

Time – Sunday February 7th midnight pregaming upstairs at the disco then down to the sports bar to watch the game.

Place – The floating palace of p4p love, River Palace! Situated on the lovely banks of the Dniper River.

Best way to find our group downstairs if you don’t RSVP? Simply ask ‘Is this the ISG meeting?'. Like forum member Maverick did in 2008. Standing up and shouting ‘yo, where the Ho masters at’ will probably be frowned upon.

This sounds awesome even though I will freeze my ass off outside.

What time does the game start in Kiev time? I had a look and it looks like coverage from 2am Kiev time.

Do you know if they will they be open until the game is over and not kick us out half way through?
