Yes, the prices for accomodation provided by Z itself are crazy.

But you can get it cheaper, when you book yourself a private room in Popovka, the small village, Z is located in.

Problem is, advanced booking via internet only possible for the expenisive rooms.

Which prices are you looking at ? And which standard are you looking for ?

Best would be, you consider renting a small car for your holidays. So you can also go to Evpatoria, for some "usual" action :-)

I have been to KaZantip this year. Totally overrun with foreigners. I saw young, good-looking guys crash and burn on a regular basis. If you go there for the party, fine, and if you speak good Russian and are reasonably attractive you'll still score here and there. But don't think this is a long-sought El Dorado.

PS: The hotel I was in had a group of seven Germans, 22-35 years old and good fun. They scored a grand total of one girl between them in five days.

Be careful regarding the time schedule. This year the opening party was not on the day, which was advertised on their web site !
It was 6 days later.

So better plan 2 weeks to stay.

In case, you really are interested, let me know. I was there already 3 years in a row, so I can give you some hints.
