If you are new to Kiev and only there for a short time River Palace is your only sure bet. If you want to spend $300 and can't get laid there its time to do some soul searching.

As I mentioned in past posts, when I first started going to RP you could see happy couples leaving all the time - any girl in the club $100-150, every once in a while you woud get a princess holding out for $200. Once again I noticed there were very few people actually closing the deal. I think RP is more of a lifestyle now for the girls and guys. A lot of the hot girls will have a sugar daddy, a local bf and doing the club p4p circuit. Very few semi pro's now it would seem, clubs like 112 are a slightly better place to find them.

You may be on to something. I am not a RP regular, but one vibe I often did get was that some girls really didn't seem to care if they got chosen or not. There was no "desperation" or "need" to score a night's work. This is of course bad for the monger.

Maybe some girls there simply don't need the money and instead of hanging out in a bar or cafe somewhere paying their own drinks or lounging around at home watching Fabrika on TV, they'd rather have some swarthy guys slobber all over them buying them overpriced cocktails.

In any case, you are right in your advice that unless you use the internet sites or go to a salon (which isn't easy for non-Russian speakers to navigate) your best bet is really River Palace.

I think for a newbie to realistically plan, he should expect to pay 30 Grv taxi there and 50 Grv back and about $60 at the club on drinks etc. + about $300 for the girl, who will stay about 4 hours. Of course everything can be less if the monger is clever, but since when is the newbie monger clever?

Cd, to be fair, I didn't actually negotiate prcing with many girls. My numbers are based on just a couple (though I chatted with many more). My numbers are based more on discussions with other guys who were there, who hit the place more often. I wasn't really looking to take a girl from there. As you know, if you're around Kiev enough, and speak Russian, there are girls, just as hot, for much more reasonable pricing. And much better attitudes to boot.

That said. With the girls I did talk to. It did seem some were strictly part-timers. They have normal jobs but claim, anyway, to hit RP only sparingly, to supplement their meager salaries. But then again, just by the looks of it, most of the girls there are hard core regulars.

I may be heading out of town for a few days on Thursday, but maybe not till Friday - not certain yet. If I'm in town, no problem meeting up.

CD is right - for a sure thing, River Palace is the place to go. Lots of hot, young girls - virtually all working. But prices aren't cheap - expect to pay minimum $150/hour, $300/night - and those are on the low end. Girls generally ask $300/hour, $500/night....and not all will negotiate lower.
