I was cruzin the Mid and saw a couple (man and woman0 on bikes waring yellow jackes with some kind of citizens group written on the back of them. they gave me the look as I went buy and looked like they might be thinking of following but I went up to hastings and they went north.

This was by the no name hotel, anyone else seem these folks?

I have been to Costa Rica twice this year already and had a great time in both San Jose (Blue Marlin Bar/Hotel Dey Rey) and in Jaco Beach (Beattle Bar).

After spending the last 4 days and nights in Vancouver I can say that the shopping is much better, easier, and less expensive in Costa Rica than it is here in Vancouver. I love the city, the art, the food, and the scenery but the mongering scene is way to complicated with all the various "tracks" and escort gigs. Way too much of a crap shoot IMO ! I like checking out the girls (usually 100-150) in clubs like the Blue Marlin, FKK clubs (Germany), and Go Go Bars in Thailand. Checking thru PERB has some great insight but your odds are still stacked against you.

Granted,, I am not in Europe, Central America, or Asia but the scene here is a bit lame,, again,, IMHO! Lovely City with alot of things to keep me buisy. This was not a mongering trip but I did expect more ??

I had a good piece of luck on a very recent weeknight. I was driving from Burnaby back to my hotel and decided to go North on Fraser from Kingsway so I could check out a strip club on Broadway a few blocks West of Fraser. As I turned onto Broadway I saw a good looking white girl walking West on Broadway just ahead of me. It was about 1:00 AM and there were not many cars on the road. While I have not been back to CR in over 15 years, and NEVER will return, I DO follow the trends and worry your expectations will NOT be met in Tica Tourist Town ):

On a brighter note, Kingsway is DEFINITELY the happening scene in Vancouver. Avoid the tourist track all together, and the low track had worse quality than in times past and WAY more aggressive LE. Will post a report with pics by tomorrow.

I hear your anguish regarding the exchange rates but after spending the last 4 years touring around Europe I am quite pleased to be able to buy another countries currency for US$.82 instead of $1.32 for a freakin Euro.

Will be in Cost Rica in two weeks where you get 480 Colones to $1,,, and thats the most expensive Country in Central America! "Toda la Noche" (all night" is $50-$100 USD for a Hot Tica,,90% GFE or higher:-)

Thailand,,, ah... another story where you get 2-3hr Massages for400-600 Baht (about $10-$12) and GFE "Long time" for 1500-2500 Baht (about $30-$60).

Town was PACKED beyond belief this weekend as it was the provincial holiday (British Columbia day). I was in Vancouver on work over the last few days, and decided to try out carmanfox.com based on the recommendation of a friend. Here are my general comments regarding carmanfox.com. The service ifrom carmanfox.com appears to be very professional. I called and spoke with Trish to set up a meeting - she described available escorts and then gave her recommendation. Within 5 minutes, she had called to confirm the meeting, and my selection, Paulina, showed up at my hotel door literally 2 minutes later.

Now, on to my review of Paulina:

Paulina is absolutely beautiful, with a very pretty face, great hair, and an amazing enhanced body. She is of Brazilian heritage, and is probably one of the prettiest providers I have ever had the pleasure of seeing (except for a sweet Austrian girl in Munich who has one end of a phenomenal double-headed BBBJ/FS night - sigh!).

As for Costa Rica, yes its true, the increased gringo population at the Blue Marlin bar does tend to drive pricing up and service down. Add in the Columbian Womens work ethic and your in trouble (their beautiful but very low on the service end). I had thought of taking a trip to Buenos Aires with a stop in Rio instead of this trip but the airfare difference was 3X higher, the flight times were 7 times more, and its winter in BA. I will make my next major trip sometime in September and have narrowed it down to either Thailand (again) or a virgin trip to Argentina/Brazil.

This trip to Vancouver is a side show,, getting out of the blazing heat in Phoeinx,,non stop 3 hr flight, cool weather, Music Festivals, and possibly some
"short time" action depending on my mood and any other combinations of events? At least we have choices in Vancouver,,,unlike the skanky SW's in
America, overpriced Escorts,and LE all over the place.

Sorry to disappoint you. Been several years (since their pricing went nuts); independent escorts are a WAY better method in Vancouver (SWs are risky, thoughj I have had lots of good experiences and only 1 bad one with them). Read www.perb.com for LOTS of detailed reviews. Great resource.

Swedish Touch is VERY overpriced (so much so that I have never gone there).

Costa Rica is WAY overpriced too, and WAY too many gringos to make GFE common. If you can still change your plans, go to Brasil or Cartagena instead.

I have travelled extensively thru Holland over the past 5 years,, maybe 15 visits with side trips to many of the various Eastern Euro sex venues in and around Northern Germany,, Koln, Frankfurt, Hamburg, etc. Those clubs are awesome but thats another post.

As for Holland, finding the Utrecht Boat Zanzpad, Alkmaar Achterdam,
Harlem RLD, and Leeuwaarden Weaze are all fun side trips.. along with the 3 Amsterdam RLD districts(wallatjes, Pijp, and Singel).

I really do not like SW but surely will have some fun meandering around the West end. Will not stay in the "lower" track areas just to find more SW. I will try out Cleo's and/or Swedish Touch Massage as these look very similar to the FKK/Sauna Club experiences in Northern Germany. May be a tad more expensive than a SW but Clubs tend to have a more predictable behavior pattern and minimum service level if they are to be successful.

This trip is not a full on mongering trip since I will be at the Hotel Del Rey/Blue Marlin Bar in San Jose, Costa Rica in just a few weeks.

Any of you have any experiences at Cleo's or Swedish Touch?

West End is close to Stanley Park area, not near Gastown. I would think you want to stay in downtown area where a lot of good restaurants and shopping places are located, no? It's close to high track also.

If you want to check out SW in low/mid track area, I would not recommend staying in these areas. Yes, there are a few hotels in low track. But they all look very shady from outside. Sandman hotel and Hampton Inn are located in the eastern part of Yaletown. These are the closest decent hotels to low track I know of.

I last experienced Vancouver strolls in 2003. I have to say these chicks know what they are doing and you will find a variety of native and white chicks. I stayed away from the high class lookers that want $200 for a cbj.

My european experience is the netherlands and belgium. I did Vancouver on foot and scored a nice dancer with silcon enhanced tits that was from a suburb of the City ie Canadian. Dude, you are on the right track. It's not that hard unless you are in a wheelchair. I did a search on Vancouver Escorts and found both Swedish Touch and Cleo's. Both remind me of the Privat's/Sauna Clubs from Europe. The cost is somewhat relative due to the favorable currency exchange and the low cost of transportation from the West Coast. The going rates start around $60/30min up to about $125/60 minutes. All inclusive according to their websites. I would assume that tipping is a big part of the game at these establishments since the girls only get a small cut of the fee. Walking the streets is one of my favorite pastimes in foreign cities so engaging girls en route sounds like an adventure.
