I'm not quite sure WHICH thread to put this report in as it contains info from more than one category. Let's just call it a Dubai report.

Arrived back to Dubai last evening after the Christmas break. As it happens, my flat mate had his girlfriend from the UK visiting over the break and since it was her last night in Dubai, I decided to get a hotel room for a night rather than interrupt their last night of passion.

My initial thoughts were to get a room at one of the more obviously green hotels (Hilton, Sheraton, etc) down in Deira or Bur Dubai because I knew that after a 14 hour flight, jet lag was going to play a factor. It would be good to be "in the hood" in case I woke up at 1:00 AM feeling frisky. After exchanging ideas with some of the other senior members (you know who you are) I decided to get a room at the apartment hotel in Bur Dubai which has been written about lately by Throwster featuring a Rooftop Jacuzzi. No one was really sure if the hotel was green or not but I decided to take a chance.

I arrived at the hotel (Near Burjuman Metro Station) about 20:00. Got checked in. Dropped my bags and went immediately up to the MP on the rooftop. There were 3 girls available. Two PRC and one from India. The one from PRC named Maria had a nice smile and a nice pair of grapefruits under her top that were just itching to get out, so I chose her and paid the basic massage fee. I inquired about the Jacuzzi but was informed that it was "occupado". I checked out quite a few clubs in Dubai recently. Here is my feedback:

Astoria Hotel.

I paid 50 to get into the club on the ground floor and this included a drink.

I got lucky here a few years ago but I did not like what I saw. It was only half full so I had my drink and then left. There were a few Indian girls applying their trade but none that made me want to part with any cash. I then went to the club in the first floor in the same hotel.

I paid another 50 to get in and this included a drink. This place was quite busy and most of the people here were from India, Pakistan or Africa. Most of the girls were average at best. I had my drink and watched the belly dancer do her thing for about 15 minutes. She was the only good looking girl I saw in this place. After spending 100 and having 2 drinks, I moved on.

Sheraton Hotel – Deira.

I paid 100 to get into the club and this included a drink. The club was about half full and the girls were better looking than the Astoria. There were a few CIS girls here are the music was much better. There was a very good looking girl dancing who was very shaggable. I had my drink before leaving.

LE Meridian Hotel, Deira.

Jules is a happy hunting ground for me and I was only charged 60 to get in and this included a drink. The quality of girls here and prices are a lot higher. This place was quite busy and it was around 1. 30 pm. I stayed away from the Ukrainian girls in the middle who looked great but were ice cold. I got chatting to a nice Chinese girl and we swapped numbers. She agreed to come to my place during day for 600. She wanted 1200 that night and said she would stay until 10 am. Negotiating: I don't think it needs to be said, but just in case. Never negotiate prices whenever other WGs are withing listening distance.

Always take them aside and negotiate privately.

Two main reasons:

1. The ladies tend to have an agreement not to undercut the "going rate", as this is frowned is frowned upon (it's like a cartel).

2. Relatedly, they lose face in front of their colleagues if they go "cheap".

It's definitely a buyers market, plus the easiest solution is to avoid ridiculously priced places like Premiere, where the only difference in looks is due to make up and fashion which often correlates negatively with performance.

WGs in the less expensive clubs are usually more willing to please and, as Sleepless mentioned, having a small harem of regulars is usually a good thing. They become more comfortable and skilled at pleasing you as they get to know you (but sometimes too comfortable), and more willing to accept less cash for regular visits and occasional gifts. I intersperse regulars with the occasional hunt for a new girl (some of whom become regulars). My regulars know I do this, and it seems to make them even more eager to please, to decrease my "straying" works for me.
