I was two weeks ago in Dubai, went out on a Wednesday night to Rattlesnake. I arrived there around 9.30 and paid 50 DHS entrance-fee (this included one beer). Approx. 20M and 8F had been hanging around. All the girls had been either Philippinas or PRCs and all the the range of 5.6. At around 11.00 I left as there was nothing to score.

Thrusday I went to the music room. Arrived there at 10 pm. Club was 30 % occupied, 70% guys and 30 % girls. Again a lot of asians and a few CIS. In general I have the impression that Dubai is more or less dead.

A lot of expats have left, hotels are empty (and discounting heavily), bars are empty. It is even possible to get a taxi during rush-hour without a problem. The whole Dubai-bubble has burst and life is again at a normal level. Prices are going down from a very high level and in general Dubai is still very expensive. I would not come to Dubai only for mongering.

I tried to access ISG from Dubai via a proxy server but it is very slow and sucking. This reprot is written now in Portugal and I am glad to be back have all the BUNDAS again available for a fraction of what you pay in Dubai.

Been a few weeks since I checked the Dubai WG bar scene , but recent reports have inspired me to check it out again, maybe tomorrow night.

I've been perusing the ISG for a while in prep for coming to Dubai. As a novice, the 1st place to start in my estimation is the snake, so I fought off the jet lag urge to crash and launched out solo around 10:00 (Monday 13th) looking for some CIS action. As a LOS hand, the same game there is with alot more smiles and sing song dialect. I was surprised buy the bluntness of the place, pussy galore, but it lacked charge of a Thai beer bar. I suppose too eastern Europeans don't give up the facial expression early, so the stoic looks were a little disconcerting. The bar was about 30% and filling, the Fili girl band wasn't too bad and the my mood changed after a few beers. I ended up talking to some pilotas from a local carrier while scanning the room. There were 5-6-7's arrayed and a couple of CIS 8's, one with huge tits I couldn't take my eyes off. I then noticed a wall flower in the corner making eye contact, very unassuming. I resisted the mammary urge, approached and ended up pleasantly surprised. Nice gal, good English, from Siberia, a teacher, in country 4 months and direct. I didn't ask her age but she was rather toned and wasn't chimney-ing smokes or drinking in the bar so I guessed late 20's. Day 15

Day off from P4P and the bars, but an extremely interesting day at work.

A colleague who’s not long been in Dubai, had his family finally relocate here and join him a couple of weeks ago.

I have been experiencing a slight sore throat over the last few days, which starts to manifest itself into flu like symptoms this morning – I’m just hoping it’s not related to the pork sausages I had at the Old Vic the other night.

It had also been on my mind to call one of WR’s girls, but with the onset of flu, I was not sure how the day would map out – so decided against making any firm plans. I get it sent and guess it will take her about 20 minutes or so, so I put the TV on.

9pm and still no knock. I send a text “are u in the taxi?” – no response. 9.10pm and I send another text “where are u I have been waiting too long?” I get a reply “I am eating now”.

So a message is sent expressing my frustration and head around to the Music Room. Get to the door and I’m asked for Dhs 25 entry, one free drink. Inside and the place is very busy – would guess 70% full – Jam night tonight. I find a spot at the back ledge and get a beer. I see about 6 CIS girls – one I would rate a 7 and a PRC girl.

Whilst the music was enjoyable and good for a change with a vibrant atmosphere, not the toe-tapping stuff of Rock Spiders. I ponder whether to head off to Ratskeys.

Apologies for not contacting you but it was a spur of the moment decision to meet up with Steve Dubai and we ended up in Ratsky1. I sincerely hope you were not the guy walking round with the red crocs on! Possibly the worst footwear ever spotted in a club!
SD was a bit put out when he bought a drink for the girl he was chatting to. It was amusing to see her try and extricate herself from red crocs man as she was obviously not interested.

Not sure about the legend status, that just makes me feel older than I am.

I didn't think I "flamed" anyone, I was just surprised that after we agreed on the price she wouldn't go with me to my hotel. It may have been the same girl, and if so I agree with you, I had a similar impression. I am glad it worked out for you. Although, she did tell me she was a "stan girl"
I suspect it may be something about the Russians, because I went to Premier last night (first and last time) and had a similar response with "Anastasia".
