Some of us never saw a T-55 tank. So I am asking a simple question. Is it looks like a hummer? I mean army battle version of hummer?

No, looks nothing like a hummer or any modern armoured vehicle. Think old old style world war 2 (or Great Patriotic War for our CIS comrades who have been celebrating the end of it here in Dubai) mass produced tank, with a big gun on the turret. Lots and lots of them in East Germany during the cold war. I was in the Royal Air Force then and did 2 tours of duty with the Harriers who would fly from fields and woods and their main task was to take out the CCCP battle armour as they poured into West Germany.

T55s were the main Soviet tanks post WWII, produced from 1946 to 1981. Original poster probably meant "old and heavy" but actually they were not heavy tanks but medium ones. I am quoting some excerpts from Wikipedia (yes, I checked the dates as I was not sure) they are a surprisingly good fit, one could be forgiven for suspecting the writer had a wicked sense of humor:

-The T-54/55 tanks are mechanically simple and robust. They are very simple to operate compared to Western tanks, and don't require a high level of training or education in their crew members. (Well, if we are comparing them with American Women, anything is easier to handle)

-Abundance and age together make these tanks cheap and easy to purchase. (that seems to be confirmed by empirical observation)

-While the T-54/55 is not a match for a modern main battle tank, armour and ammunition upgrades can dramatically improve the old vehicle's performance to the point that it cannot be dismissed on the battlefield. (I think surgical enhancements can only take you so far)

-Nevertheless, T-54/55 tanks have many serious defects. Small size is achieved at the expense of interior space and crew comforts, which is a common trait of most Russian tanks. This causes practical difficulties, as it constrains the physical movements of the crew and slows operation of controls and equipment. (I find that strange as it is usually fills and Chinese who have a reputation for limited interior space, and it has never been reported to cause any discomfort to the crew)

-Israelis who crewed T-54/55s captured during the 1967 and 1973 wars constantly complained about this, and it remains a problem that cannot be remedied by any upgrades. (I somehow suspect that we will have few Israelis manning the Dubai-based T55s)

-The T-54 is especially defective: It lacks NBC protection. All of these problems were corrected in the T-55 tank, which is otherwise largely identical to the T-54. (I do not think you should take this as an endorsement to practice unsafe sex with the Dubai-based T55s)

I used the term T55 as most of them are overweight and in abaya. Abaya is Arab women dress to cover them. It is usually black and only eyes are visible.

An important think to understand is that unlike many western countries, big meat is a delicacy in many Middle Eastern countries.

Street scene is generally cheaper option and that is reflected in quality. However, you may get good quality at around 03 am or sometimes in Africans.

Ramada and Majestic both are in Bur Dubai just around 100 meters from Al Waleed / Bank Road. Most of the time both green and particularly in summer good value for money. Best way to find the location is to search on Google and get the location from their web site.

That was great report on T55. It seems you have some in depth (pun intended) knowledge in the Tank design, anatomical comparisons and their performance. I suspect you are some kind of war veteran who has changed to civilian job. When I read ENL querry on T55 I thought it was some kind of abbreviation which I do not know.
