There is solution to this scary possibility. If they have not taken your Emirates ID then you are safe. Immediately cancel your SIM card. That way they can not trace you. Get SIM from other operator.

Luckily my sim is Not UAE number. I'm not a resident here. Only here for biz trip. I did keep looking for cameras but didn't see any. Doesn't mean there were any of course but it did cross my mind and I was aware it could be a trap.

Lesson learned the hard way.

It works in 2 ways, either they will send you the clip asking for more money in order to get rid of the video. Or, if the LE gets involved, then they get to say it was consensual and show the clip as evidence.

Dubai visit. Stayed at the Hyatt (Premier) for a night and then a flight to Riyadh. Back on Friday. No problem at the Hyatt, cost is an additional charge of AED 240/ night. Get a 50% discount to Premier for staying at the hotel.

Went to the Fairmont hotel with the intention of hitting the Cavilli bar. But walked in to the hotel bar -3rd floor. As I got into the lift a pretty, blond also. Joined.
