Tipping the bouncers go long way. They will litterely guard you and never push you from the hallways. They will get you a table almost anywhere you want and kick out the wg girls from the table. Treat you like vip.

And she does have BIG problems if her visa has expired. Can't say now, but years ago, that's a fine and jail until she's deported, and jail until she can pay the fine.

Not a panacea, but if she's serious, a place to start. Taking her to the embassy will not help as her visa is expired, and the Vietnam embassy doesn't have anything to do with that. How sympathetic the Viet embassy will be is another question. But the longer she delays, the worse it will be. Best I would do is pass along the info and try and impress on her that the longer she delays, the worse it will be. Eventually she will be caught (if true), and then...
