TGIT, Astoria Hotel, 2:45 - 3:30pm
New Year's day, given that there were a number of bowl games on tv, only one thing to do: Banana's for their large supreme pizza. While waiting, popped into TGIT. As expected, sparse: punters (and wg's) NOT in attendence, no doubt recovering at home from the previous night's festivities. 1 african, a couple of CIS (young/hard looking), majority PRC's, and older PRC's at that.

Number of familiar faces; JSF, you'll remember FiFi and JoJo. FF ALWAYS with the smile and happy greeting. Happy to say, JJ now a pro, no longer clingy, QUICKLY gauges temperature. Did spot 1 PRC on my to-do list; I had called her last Thursday, during my phone troll... If only she hadn't lived in Deira, could have popped her from that queue... Added another new face, cute, with phone number to the to-do list. She, first time TGIT visitor, encouraged by her friends to check out TGIT, not impressed with the customer mix...

Anyway, I simply had a drink, then left to pick up a pizza. Certainly no stunners, but if I had been in the mood for some afternoon exercise, there certainly were possibilities, even if few and far between.

Games over, decided to step out, look for Miss Cappy. Early on, very sparse, mainly african wg's, with a few chinese (says more about management's misguided entrance policy than anything else).

Later on, some CIS arrived; 1 familiar OLDER face, with some likewise aged sisters. Certainly no walk of shame there, easily blend in as an older spouse. I was wondering exactly who her target audience was, what her attributes were, and how successfully delivered... Certainly has been around for awhile, so must be some attraction...

Later on, place filled up a bit, but still relatively sparse. No Cappy. Now number of africans matched by the PRC's, CIS around. Couple of PRC's I was familiar with, 1 tall, LONG hair, attractive. Bit surprised to see 1 top-of-the-line Imperial girl, Cyclone chorus material, visiting. She did stand out, and would, any place except Cyclone. At least 1 other PRC, older, intriguing in a mature sort of way... not the usual bg trolling for clients (I'm assuming she was a wg rather than a spouse waiting for hubby). Like the older CIS, I wonder who pulls them, and why, given so many younger, better looking girls around. Must be some attraction...

In summary, great time, and no problems thanks to the help on the board. Did I overpay a bit, perhaps, but the trip went off like clockwork.

Bit of homework, some advance study, and easy to have a good time.

Cyclone is a must see, at least once. Has always been expensive, but damn there are some fine looking women in there, and this IS the Middle East.

Have always said a good price is what HER experience is worth to YOU THAT night. How much fun is it to come home with stories along the lines of "I wouldn't pay THAT; I saved so much money..."

I visited Dubai mid Dec and have been remiss in submitting a report, but better late than never. First of all, thanks for all the advice on the board and to those who graciously answered the few questions I had. I had planned this trip in Nov for two reasons. Obviously for the pussy and secondly I had to find a trip sufficiently long enough to generate enough miles to retain top tier status on Air Canada. Dubai satisfied both requirements.

Left my home town in Canada about 5pm Wed and arrived via Toronto in Frankfurt 11am. Business class all the way to Frankfurt, but only had an economy ticket to Dubai, simply viewed as necessary suffering to get to the ultimate goal. As luck had it, my seat was double-booked and the asshole looking to remove me from my seat was loud and rude to the stew. I remained calm, handed my boarding pass and star alliance gold card to the stew and was rewarded with an upgrade to business.

Arrived in Dubai at 10:45pm, breezed through customs and was in the hotel (Sofitel) by 11:45. Quick shower and out the door to the Hyatt’s Premier Club. I’d been here on my only other visit 2.5 years ago. The place was absolutely packed and there was a lineup to get in. Passed myself off as a Hyatt guest with my Hyatt club card and was immediately shown in. Battled my way to the bar, ordered a double Bacardi / cola and started hunting. I spoke to few ladies, but continued to circulate for an hour checking out the possibilities. Almost fucked up as 2am approached and the place was thinning out, thought the best may have escaped. Just then, bumped into a Miss S at the bar. Long blonde hair, 5’8” from Kiev. She immediately wanted 2000 Dhms for the night. Sorry, babe, I’ve read the forum. Came down to 1500, but I was hesitant. Could she go lower? At this point it was a bit of a game as 1000 or 1500 in my eyes is still so incredibly cheap given I was in Vienna a week before. (400 Euros / hr at the Babylon club). At that point, her “sister” (Miss M) joins the conversation. Blond as well and equally stunning. The offer was made, 3000 for both. I countered with 2500 for both. They agreed if they could sleep in and I ordered breakfast. DEAL!

Arrived at the hotel with these blond stunners. There is no question that the Sofitel is girl friendly as we were all greeted politely and there could be no doubt in anyone’s mind why these babes were with me. Totally lucked out with these two. Both girls were willing to suck and fuck all night (with a break for pizza and wine!). Had to be close to 6:30am before we packed it in. Felt comfortable with them in the room as anything of value was earlier placed in the safe or was locked down. None of us rose before 1pm. Had them both in the shower and treated them to lunch downstairs. After they left I went back to bed until 5pm. (Got their numbers before they left).

Friday night, after a late dinner I had to check out the infamous Cyclone. As I’ve read, it’s a must do at least once. Arrived about 11pm and headed for CIS country (to the right). My first impressions were a bit disappointing as the number of stunners were low, but it was early. Did hook up with this gorgeous brunette for a bit, but she wanted 2000 and wasn’t coming down. Early!! Before 1am I had the numbers of two ladies that would be most interested in hooking up Sat afternoon. About 1:30am, I had settled on another Miss M, tall blond from Estonia. Same deal as before, 1200 for the night and breakfast. Great lady and crazy in bed. One problem. She’s a squirter and when she gets revved up, she basically ruins the bed. We ended up sleeping on the end of the bed as there was a bloody lake forming near the top. Talk about a DNA bouillabaisse! Reserved the mornings shag for the shower where it was a bit safer. After she left, had room service come in and change the sheets. Thank god the windows opened, had to air the place out!

Called one of the Cyclone babes about 1pm and arranged for her to join me for 3 hours Sat afternoon. Tall redhead this time from St. Pete’s. Good time and pleasant enough for a 3 hour interlude (500 Dhms), but wouldn’t repeat. Not after the performances of the last group.

My plane was leaving Dubai at 3:30am so I figured I had to make the best of my last evening. Considered going out on the hunt again, but with limited time decided to call Miss S from the 1st night. Took me an hour to finally reach her and enquired about her and her friend joining me for 4 hours (9pm-1am). She agreed, I slept, showered and went for dinner downstairs. During dinner she called and says her friend can’t come, but she will come alone. No problem! Another call 8pm. Would I be interested in another of her friends, tall brunette. Felt I was pushing my luck, but agreed after the description and a promise that the friend would leave with only cab fare if I wasn’t interested. Win-win situation, so why not. Both arrived about 9:15pm and the friend (Miss A) was a knockout. Taller than Miss S by at least 3 inches. Anyway, 4 hours of absolutely non-stop action, with a quick room service break thrown in. Girls left at 1am, I had a quick shower, grabbed the pre-packed bags and got my ass to the airport where I toasted my good fortune by purchasing the upgrade to FRankfurt.

In summary, great time, and no problems thanks to the help on the board. Did I overpay a bit, perhaps, but the trip went off like clockwork. Will definitely be back. And I made Air Canada’s top tier again to boot.

I was in Dubai mid December and went to Jules. Quite a mix of people. I've been looking for a cute one from the eastern bloc for a while now, but didn't see one there that night. Rattlesnake, Metropolitian Hotel, SZR. Does make a change, but debate if it's REALLY worth the trip from downtown. I really don't care that much for the band, bar has a poor layout (as far as being able to see, move around). But it does have a mix of the usual countries, sometimes unusual ones (even bumped into some Thais there once), and it does not seem to draw that much LE attention. Drinks are cheaper than the average. During the winter, spring, does have a nice outside area in front where you can catch some fresh air. Pool tables upstairs. I'll visit if I don't feel like going downtown.

Just a quick update and happy New Year to one and all.

The tiny big boobed baby PRC I found at the Seaview just before Xmas was scooped up, apparently by by a high rolling american whislt my back was turned on Xmas eve. Reputed to have paid her $2000 for the week, oh well I thought, when he is back in Iraq, I will still be here.

Spent most of yesterday wallowing in indecision: call Spinner for an afternoon's ST, make it an evening's LT, wait to see her until later in the week... who to call, what to do... Ended up watching a bowl game.

Half time, good game, but teams not really of any personal interest to me. Midnight. Could call Spinner, but something of a waste now, given she'll readily come over early for a LT LT. Think about just crashing, but, what the hell, decide to head to the closest place, the 'Snake. If I see someone that really grabs my attention, fine. If not, well, the drinks are relatively cheap, and it's an hour out of my life.

Walking in, begin to regret my decision. Like a fullback from the 10 yard line, I have any number of clutching hands impeding my progress to the goal line bar. I even seem to have picked up a hitch-hiking linebacker who has attached herself to me, carrying her all the way to the bar as my legs keep pumping. She doesn't understand my words, "Do we know each other? No? Let's keep it that way.", but she certainly understands the temperature.

Order a coke (10 dhs - what a deal), fight my way back through the triple deep bar layer, and find a reasonable place to stand. Despite my "keep your distance" scowl, a number apply for job interviews. But my attention is attracted to 2 PRC's up on the table plateau, swaying to the beat. At first I think they are attached, but after a couple minutes of observation, it's just "moths to flames"... Both obviously slumming tonight - Cyclone chorus girls who DO stand out at a place like the 'Snake. Both appear to have the CR (Cylcone Rack) going for them. With one, difficult to tell how much is bra; the other in a tube top that she is CONSTANTLY adjusting (dance 2 minutes, tug the top up, dance, tug, dance, tug...). Make eye contact first with Miss Bra; get a nice smile in return. Miss Tube a bit less warm; I'm not sure I even show up on her radar.

A known face stops to say hi, somewhat miffed I don't remember her name. I DON'T feel bad; it's been a couple of months and, because I CAN'T remember, she must not have been all that fantastic. She offers her friend, "new girl", (again, is that REALLY an attraction for anyone?)... I decline; I can find my own, thank you.

Embarrassingly, she drags the poor girl back to meet me, face to face. Not bad, and on another night, just might have picked her myself. But I don't like the "in your face" procurer attitude, POLITELY tell the girl "No thank you", and give her mentor a FROSTY look. She too has the temperature guage out, correctly determines the chances (just after the SZR ice skating championships), and moves on.

However, with the distraction, I have lost sight of the dancing duo. Do make eye contact with an attractive girl in a cute cap. After a number of eye-contacts, she's over by my side, marketing. I figure it's just about a done deal. Ask for a price quote: 700. Oops, maybe not. But I correctly put it in the "never hurts to ask" category, even though, in my current mental state, that does irritate me a bit. Now she's pestering me to make a counter-offer. I side-step, my indecision returning. Like the old Soviet citizen in a western supermarket, just too many choices, mind-numbing. She eventually comes up with a respectable 500 offer, but, by now, she's nice, but no nicer than last night's girl, and no nicer than any of 5,6 others in the place. She does CLAIM to know massage...

I take the coward's exit: fake the incoming phone call, stepping outside for a breath of FRESH air, and to check my desire status. Couple of minutes later, out she comes, with a gf in tow. Gives me a questioning shrug and one of those "100 words in a glance" looks: she's leaving for greener pastures; decision time for me. I give her a return shrug and step back inside.

On entering, who do I pass but Miss Tube. Can't resist, lean in close, and tell her it's about time she does another "pull-up". Surprisingly, she understands and laughs, catching my attention with the comment that she's not wearing a bra and so does not want to expose "too much". Now THAT is info worth pondering, so I pause to chat. Do confirm she's a Cyclone refugee, taking a night to check out another venue. She asks me what I'm doing there, having seen me in Cyclone. I explain its just close to home. As usual with the Cyclone 'now appearing at the Snake' girls, it's a "Now I know, once is enough; no good customers HERE". Her english is very good, certainly REFRESHING to be able to carry on a conversation, and so spend the next 15 minutes chatting. No offers in either direction.

Finally, I can't resist, asking for a price quote from a "Cyclone girl." "Special discount for you, 700." I am distinctly non-committal. Knowing I've been in dxb a considerable time, she asks me what I pay here. I tell her the truth, usually 500, sometimes 400. She almost has me walking away with her reply, "But I'm beautiful; you should pay me more." My experience with THAT attitude is best to walk away.

But I don't, and 10 minutes later, decide to end-of-the-year break my ceiling. If I just get her number, I know it will be one of those "sink to the bottom, never used." I also know I will NOT run into her again at the 'Snake. It's now or never. And I just don't feel like haggling over 200 (so shoot me). Off we go.

Interesting girl, fun to chat with. She's not shy about talking about her preferred choices of customers, the CIA, windfalls she's received, dxb views. Did confirm that post 2am, good chance a still in residence Cyclone girl would be interested in a 400, 500 offer. But make it clear on what time she will depart - for that price, she also said a pre-6am departure much more likely. (I had asked about morning departure time - "up to you" acceptable to both of us, and she was true to her word). I will say that the tube top acted as a restraint; popped free, it was a genuine, grade A, CR. I will also say that the face, for me, was rather common; previous night's engineering marvel couldn't beat the body, but definitely had the better face (like I say, Cyclone chorus, not a true a-lister).

One perhaps spurious correlation: it seems the more money paid, the less likelihood of domestic help: on coming out of the bathroom after my morning's shower, the bed was NOT made, she busy trying to pull on her SKIN-TIGHT jeans. (Another comment: I had told her that given a choice between 2 girls, a dress would make the decision easy, even raising a less attractive girl over a more attractive one. She agreed, but in practice, jeans just fine, and less obvious that they are the SAME jeans as last night...)

Worth the extra 200? Sure, 1 time. Price of knowledge; now I DON'T have to wonder what she would be like. Not the GFE, but certainly fun and responsive. Figure I can catch Cappy another time (as long as she's wearing that trademark). And if not, many others to chase. In other words, just another night in dxb.

Actually, quite wrong (of course, she will tell you different - only been in dxb a month..., despite the fact she speaks great English and has no trouble in finding any hotel in town). I can walk into just about any bar and see familiar faces, WAY MORE than a few months old.

As long as they're making good money, or even reasonable, they will stay like ANY expatriate. We all have 2 buckets: a money bucket and a shit bucket. When either gets full, THEN we leave. The wrinkle with the wg's is LE and the constant threat of deportation (or the sole sponsor).

I visited Cyclone and according to my standards there was not a single girl over there above 7.5 in my opinion.

My highlight of your statement. The KEY is: your standards, your opinion. I have no trouble in spotting any numbers of 8's, a lot of 9's, some 10's. MY problem is my wallet .

I have been to Thailand (often), and I have certainly noticed a more mercenary attitude amongst the go-go bar girls. A decade ago, the goal was a LT, multiple nights if possible. Now, the norm seems to be multiple ST's PER night. (Of course, I'm a decade older, so perhaps don't draw the same attention or position on the preferred list). I walk into a bar here, and any number of ladies ARE interested in LT...

The a-listers I know are 1000 minimum; 500 to 700 is 2nd tier, or post 2am. (For the record, it's about 3.66 to the dollar, so 500-700 is $135-$190. Now you get up to those 1000-1500's... $273 - $400)

IMHO, mongering in Dubai is only good for those who are visiting Dubai for business and monger on the side. Dubai is really not a mongering destination in all it's own.

I, as others, have stated that I don't view dxb as a mongering destination in and of itself. It is EXPENSIVE (compared to other destinations), and for me anyway, there are few other attractions... After all, how many desert safari's can you go on, and there are nicer/equivalent beaches in nicer countries. MY opinion is culture is rather lacking here, at least what I'm interested in, everything is imported and basically plastic. But, as you say, if you're here on business, a layover, or have to work in the Middle East, dxb does have its attractions. Try KSA for a month...

...and then if you factor in some shopping.

Despite the publicity, shopping is CRAP here. After all, everything is imported...

I am sure many of you might disagree with me on my summary of Dubai, but then again if you have not been to the Mongering heavens of the world then you have nothing to compare it to.

I think your post is very valid for you. But it just goes to show that if you start comparing dxb with other places (as one Brit told me, it's typical British: go to Spain on holiday, then complain all the time about how it's NOT like back home)... Not saying you're British, and no cut against them... But think an individual's enjoyment of any destination is in large part due to the attitude they bring. If you come in with an attitude of "It's cheaper in xyz, the girls are better looking in abc", then yes, that's what you'll certainly see. But if you come in with the attitude of "let me enjoy what's here in its own right", then you will have a good time.

I certainly don't have any trouble going out, having a good time, and enjoying some company for an evening, with MANY GFE's. Given dxb's location, I sometimes forget that that SHOULD amaze me. Posts like yours are welcome in that they remind me of that fact.

I was in Dubai for the first time for about few hours. IMHO, Dubai is one place where you can find working girls from all over the third world. Most of these girls are there to make the money for a few months and leave Dubai. I visited Cyclone and according to my standards there was not a single girl over there above 7.5 in my opinion. IMHO, mongering in Dubai is only good for those who are visiting Dubai for business and monger on the side. Dubai is really not a mongering destination in all it's own. What can I say i am doomed as far as mongering goes, I have been to the top mongering destinations in the world (Brazil, Thailand, Colombia) and now anything less just don't feel right.

Overall, I enjoyed the few hours i was in Dubai, but i found it very expensive. Sheraton Four points costed me approx $200 per night. On top of that a Girl cost approx $200 per night, and then if you factor in some shopping. I don't think it would be very hard for a person like me to wipe off about $800 per day.

I am sure many of you might disagree with me on my summary of Dubai, but then again if you have not been to the Mongering heavens of the world then you have nothing to compare it to.
