Tried Regal for the first time since January. It's a much better place to visit IMO than Moscow. I went there last night and the punter to WG ration was 2 to 1. I went to Moscow (Red Square) on Sunday night. A table with 1 free drink is 150 AED. I didn't scope the place for WG's because my regular Uzbek's joined me later. You must sit at your table and can't stand by the bar. A fair number of WG's although as I said, I didn't look too closely. A beer was 40 AED and a small bottle of Chivas was 800 AED. The coffee shop was open as well. Got pinged by a Tajiki to meet her at Coochine Irani club upstairs but didn't go check it out as I was with someone.

I will try the other spots in a few days and will report back.

I am not in Dubai frequently but this is my pre-pandemic experience. Almost all will agree for 400 and many will agree 300. And I don't mean petty haggling. Pretty much right away.

Totally agree with this, usually you are dealing with a handler, even if they tell you that you are not. Often the MR advert says 600,700, 800 etc, so I usually go in with an offer of 300 for a 2 shot deal. I tell them that I have several other places with this price so it seems fair (and that is not a lie, just factual). I would say that they respond very quickly with either a yes (50% of the time) or a counter offer of 400 is usually the outcome. I do not haggle too much as it is tedious, so a deal is agreed at that point, or I simply walk away and say goodbye, I never agree 500 or higher for these Viet joints, there are simply too many to choose from for that.

I was always happy to pay 400 of course, but now they feel like they had a slight victory, and on a lucky day I get it for 300.

However, if I do get it for 300, and the girl turns out to be a gem, then I will tip the girl 100 directly, which she loves, and in turn ensures me a great level of service each time. I don't tip if I paid 400 originally as this hobby requires budgets and limits and needs to be kept in check.

One thing to add, you must be mindful of the costs over time, so if dealing with a new prospect, whatever the initial price you agree, that normally becomes the price for you with them forever, each and every visit. You may end up loving the place and want to visit 2 or 3 times a month, so you must consider the longer term implications of even a 100/200 overspend on the original deal. Of course if you do not live here then maybe you don't care so much about budget, but for those that do it really makes a difference over a few months and good initial negotiating (not tedious back and forth) can ensure that you get several extra experiences over time for less spend.

Mostly 500 2 shots, some of them will accept 400 even for first time.

And some of who charge 500 would accept 400 if you repeat your visit a number of times in a short period of time.

As for 300 even if you find one who accept it for 2 shots I usually tip 100 if the service is good since 300 doesn't feel right anyways.

By the way you have no idea how everything improves if you become a repeat customer, try it.
