With a reference in my pocket and a destination (Kasbar) in my mind, I asked the taxi driver to turn towards Royal Mirage at the stroke of midnight. Now Alex had told me that the right time to hit the bar is around 130 AM when the ladies of the night (in this case Moroccans) arrive in throes. I thought I would have a drink, soak the atmosphere of the club and prime myself up for the Arabic themed night play to follow. I thought it would be a smooth ride. But all the dreams were squashed to smithereens, as the 6 and a half feet security guy at the club refused to let me in. I pulled out the manager card from Alex, but he said that the manager had left the club and he could not help me. But a dialogue had ensued as he referred to the new manager in the club. The manager came to my rescue and removed the red velvet coloured chain to allow me in, at an entry charge of 80 Dirham.

The club was a sight to behold- it's large, ornate and has all the things that you can think when sands of Arabia come into your mind. It was roughly divided into three parts. Just as soon as one turns right, it has a dimly lit bar serving drinks to singletons and when one turns his back to the bar, one can see a beautiful royal purple lit area where the tables are where I parked myself and ordered a drink.

Though this is not a place to discuss other cities but Bangkok has it's own charm. Like many we have been going there for years. Whenever you need break and want to destress BKK is heaven. We go Wednesday night and back by Sunday morning. No one knows where we have gone, we make it sound like a normal business trip to Singapore or HK. I stay close to Eden and Dr BJ on Soi 7 or 11 in Sukhumvit. So many good massage places, Bars and restaurants in Sukhumvit.

Here's the follow up on the Moscow action. I am bachelor for a week and wanted to utilize the precious time to the max.
