Greetings to all you fellow mongers!

I am a new member to ISG, fairly new to the Dubai scene and also at the mongering business. I was thinking of a good way to go about ensuring I avoid making the obvious mistakes when mongering and I was lucky to come across ISG. What an excellent forum, you guys rock. I am thinking what an excellent idea to share my experiences and learn from the pros at the same time. So here I am !!

After this short intro let me move in to my first report. Small note here, this is my first post / report so apologies in advance if I make bad use of all the right acronyms or if I miss something in the process.

So about 2 weeks ago I decided to go down to try the Premier at the Hyatt Regency with some friends. I have been there before but the previous times I did not see anything that was very appealing so came back home alone. This time I found a small diamond which turned out to be a real GFE. Her name was Sara and she is from Azerbaijan. 100+200. Did offer her an additional tip (I know I shouldn't spoil her) but she refused anyway as she appreciates my very regular business and I've helped her out in other ways.

100 + 150 is the standard tip there with two shots the SOP so your 300 already includes an additional. So folks , 100+ 150 is the rate to stick to for two shots. As always its up to you if you want to tip more for exceptional service, but the standard service I get there is already very, very, very good.

A friend of mine went to an AMP in Bur Dubai last weekend.
Halfway through his set, the place got raided by the LE.

They let some of the guys go after a bit of questioning, but all the ladies were taken in.
A couple of guys were taken in also. My friend is just thankful he was let off easy, especially since he's "happily" married.

There's probably a reason for this... They must have pissed off the wrong people or maybe they were late on their LE payments.

Still.. I wouldn't want to be caught up in that kind of situation.

Somewhere behind Bur Juman Center.

Don't call in case the pigs are screening.
I've never been there myself but I know this place has been in business for over a year at least.

I don't think the better known places... like Al Qouz or the one in Jumeirah will be a problem. They seem to know the ropes so should still be safe enough.

That's one of the main reasons why I'm not into the AMP's... tempting and affordable but can be risky if the management does not know how to play the game here.

Hotels are safer. Also.. with room rates down now.. its worth paying a bit more to avoid any unwanted surprises.

Some of us like to live on the edge I know... but I'm not sure its worth the risk. Especially when it can be easily avoided.

I'm now even thinking twice about all the girls that advertise... too easy to get caught if the LE actually wants to crack down.

I mean.. I've personally called so many girls that post numbers online... and given them directions to my house. Looking back.. that seems really stupid if you have no clue who they are.

How difficult would it be for the CID to call the girls, book appointments and then arrest them? worse... They could try them out and then watch the place and round up any honest mongers that visit after. Or even better.. they could have them followed to your house or hotel and catch you in the act.

Be careful dudes... with Abu Dhabi really calling the shots now.. things might be changing for sunny Dubai. Slowly but surely.

I might be getting a bit paranoid as well so don't take this too seriously. You will still do what you want, but this is the kind of thing that could happen to any of us.

I guess that's the risk that all of us CHOOSE to take.. some more than others.

Use your brain and follow your instinct. Both those things are there for a good reason.

I would also like to pay compliments to XXXX slicker, I visited the J AMP last week, and followed by AQ AMP. I felt the quality of AQ to be slightly better than J but the price was lower for J than AQ. To be honest if you go to either you will have a good time.

Dear Combo,

You will be staying very close to the place which we refer to as the Golden Triangle. Just search the forum for places like Ramada, Panorama, York hotels ... all these places are within walking distance.

Infact I suggest you do Management by Walking around - you will get all that you need. The hotel too, is fairly green and you would not have much trouble in taking the girls back to your room.

Ok then, after my first summer report I had so many expressions of interest for part 2 to be posted here (actually just two people. **** Slicker and Hihi Ster. Thanks guys). Here it is then:
