If you're not sure of prices for apartments, try looking on Dubizzle (Dubai. Dubizzle. Com). Loads of apartments for rent on there. Obviously, if you're not sure which areas are suitable for your needs, searching on a Dubizzle might be a problem, but it will give you an idea of what you can get for your money in various parts of Dubai.

Try Silver sand or Golden sand behind Ramada Hotel area. These are decent apartments, not typical rundown buildings in Burdubai. All the area between Ramada on one side and Spinneys and Burjuman on other side have some decent upmarket buildings with mix Nationalities residing there. If you stretch your budget to 90K then you will find decent building. They all have security. All we mongers in Dubai have learned the art of managing our security LOL. We tip them on regular basis. A happy security will make your life easy when you want to bring in the WGs. Actually I do not give damn what he thinks but little tip can help if you have a very religious neighbor who can complain about your mongering activities. He will diffuse the situation.

There is area near Movenpick opposite American hospital which have some good building but this area is away from Golden triangle, there are many AMPs around though. It is closer to DIFC but there is no Metro stn nearby. Taxi will cost under 15- to DIFC.

I would like to stress, if you are indian, the area is definitely the perfect spot! If not, you may not like the ambiance or the food odor in some buildings so choose carefully. The quote of 50k seems to be on the lowest quality flat.

Feeling a little bored after managing to escape from work early today, I decided to go off-piste and try a different MP from the one or two I've been visiting recently.
