Glad to hear it is up and running again. Now it has been a couple of weeks since the raid and it looks as though things have blown over, I thought I should clarify what happened. It was a Thurs pm when I was just exiting the gate 2 CID came barging in as it was opened. I got thrown against the wall as did the skinny chinese guy. I managed to keep one foot in the door and with wrestling managed to get the door further open. It was a struggle but I managed to persuade the CID to let go of the door - I could see he was more concerned with getting into the house before everyone else ran for cover. Once I exited the gate I got away as fast as I could. It was a nervy time since, I ditched the SIM card (fortunately one from a visitor from a long way back) but realised that the risk is high. Still i suppose risk is something in life we all live with it just a question for all of us if it is an acceptable risk or not?
Sooner or later I am sure will most likely return just need to take a few courage pills.

I don't know why but I don't like the concept of AMPs in Dubai. First off not too many reports giving a good review to the service. Lack of talent. Bit pricey as compared to All nighters in the comfort of your own place.

At the end of my last report I went off to China for Canton Fair, and don't even ask how was it! I am not surprised “funindubai” had a poor first time experience with AMP. I’ve had the bad after-taste way too many times. But this market is still a buyer’s market. Even though the new al quoz AMP moved to a new location, the house take went up Dhs. 20 only. The ladies tried to charge 500 and they got me once as I too had not researched the market for a while, but on subsequent visits I did not pay more than 120+200+50. And the low-rent AMPs in burdubai, mankhool and karam still survive under the radar. My advice is don’t get discouraged; it’s a crap shoot anyway. The law of averages will kick in.
Earlier this week I visited mankhool AMP and the charges still remain 100+150 for 2 shots, although the ladies barely averaged 6’s, but the customer service is still high.
Chose May/Mei from lineup of 5 30-ish ladies, all in bikinis tops and funnily enough all in bikini shorts! May (short hair, nice smile, only of 5 with short hair, and looked youngest, also small breasts, barely Bs) wore her shorts low so no chance of a C-scar, (not a deal breaker). After some basic kissing she thoroughly cleaned me up with wet wipes and then started with an ok BBBJ, but she stayed at the top, no real deep throat. I think weeknights are 75AED and weekends are 100AED. They may be ripping you off. Hang around the entry for a few minutes and see what they charge other guys. They went through a stage where even regulars had to pay (that's me), but recently they just started waving me in for free, as I always create a hassle at the door, plus times are tough, so they need the custom.

If you arrive before 9pm, entry is free for anyone, but the place will be empty until about 10pm. Play pool or have a bite to eat for an hour until the girls start arriving. Food's not bad there.

Went recently to a famous AMP in Jumeira. A total rip off!

I too went there once, when I was searching for the real jumeirah AMP. Saw one lady removing her panties and showing her butts with the window open. But when I went there, I was told 350 for one hour.

Not everywhere but now a days in some hotels and hotels appartments, now there should be addition of 1 question to ask WG that do you have any original ID with you, if yes then no problem and if no then there are chances to have problem to get into the hotel.

Guys just an observation and maybe nothing in it. I recently stayed at DAS for 6 nights and had no problems what so ever, either during the day or at night. Don't know whether my guests all had original passports but doubt it very much.

I booked a double room on line and was slightly concerned that I would have a problem with guests as there was a report a few weeks ago on the forum about someone else having same problem as Mizak. However no problem. I am wondering are they treating short term guests different than long term guests ie. different attitude to guests staying a night or two Vs a week

just back from a 15 day trip to dubai-china-dubai, have a couple of experiences to share.

Even though I've been travelling to Dubai on business 3-4 times a year for a while now I've only just discovered this forum. Absolutely brilliant, great to see people sharing good advice I always stay at the Ramada and always go to Rumours, I prefer PRC's and found a lovely regular girl who I usually arrange to meet for a drink in Rumours and then go back to my room. On my next visit in a couple of weeks she will be in China (visa run I think) so I will be on the prowl again, I prefer just to go to Rumours as it is handy and safe. I popped in there once as it was on the drive home from work. I was curious, as they advertise women of all nationalities (German, French, Vietnamese, African, etc). Two asian women in their 30s were outside the front door having a smoke. When I asked the price, they said 300AED. When I asked if they do extras for tips, they looked at each other and said with a frown "We are not prostitutes here". I smiled and thought "Yeah right, I should have asked one of you privately, to get the real answer", and I left.
