Your “nigger” comment really got my attention.
Allow me to weigh in here.

Experience with the subject:

I am Black, American. Late 20s

Frequents Dubai every 3 ½ months.

Lives in PI registered Property owner.

Filipina/Japanese GF last 3 years.

Filipinos are no more or less racist then most people around the world. They do tend to generalize and believe in silly stereotypes. Yes they do look down on Blacks in most cases. But I have Black friends who look down on them…they say things like “ugly when old” “mail order brides” “Flat asses” “No Brain” What does it all mean? Absolutely nothing.

In my five years of hanging around PI/Japan/South Korea I have never heard a Filipino utter the word nigger. They do use the word Negro. So if they are using this word nigger it is from an outside source. Rap music or a racist western expat who knows?

As for education. It has nothing to do with the perception of a looked down upon race. I know a Filipina who is a scholar is supporting herself working for a large corporation in PI with a degree in accounting. Before she met me she simply told me all blacks where bad etc. Now we are the best of friends and no I have not nor have any desire to fuck her.

Are the Filipinas in Dubai more hostile towards me than in PI? Yep. They are also more hostile to all expats because they have a source of income which gives them more flexibility in terms of their ability to choose. That being said I have had some positives with them and some bad. I don’t chase them much in Dubai because there is an abundance at home. When I am in Dubai I am looking for something more exotic.

Filipinos are different in any place where there is an abundance of money. I remember meeting a female friend of my GF in Japan and she told me for no reason at all “Japanese girls like Black men. Its’ uncommon to see a Filipina with one.” Why did she make this comment? Nobody was discussing this at the time.

A little education can go a long way. Scholar does not mean the education I'm talking about.

I consider myself Indian (although its sometimes confusing) and have no problem getting along with anyone from anywhere having been in Dubai almost my entire life. Unless they act like retards in which case I don't waste my time with them.

Racial sterotypes are born out of ignorance and lack of exposure to different cultures. Thats what I think.

A person with an open mind does not stereotype. An open mind only comes with meeting people from all over and not judging them based on the usual shit. Everyone is an individual. Some good.. some not so good.. has nothing to do with where they are from and what they look like.

And the term "nigger" I heard from a girl I met in the PI... where it comes from makes no difference... the conotation is whats important to understand.

She equated the word "nigger" with black = bad.

That being said... she was a big hip hop fan and I asked her how come she did'nt like black guys when she loved their music?

She said.. those guys are different because they are famous and cool.

Ok.... dropped the argument there because I could see there was no point to it.

This is coming from a guy that grew up with filipino friends... even went to school here with some.. and adores filipina women in spite of all the drama that goes with the territory sometimes.

When leaving I saw a few Phili girls, and a few Indian / Pakistani (very well dressed, smart chaps) guys went up to them and got talking to them, they had agreed a rate, and then these girls turn around and go if you are Indian we don’t come, or you pay us more, and then giggled like silly little girls. At that moment, I almost thought to myself, "Forget my pal, I'll take her home instead", but I knew it would not be a good idea.

Because I was bushed from travel and wanted to get home, I cut to the chase and told the sisters I was too tired from travel, and will be going home now, but my friend wants to talk to Lena. They replied "Awww. Don't worry if you tired, we give you goott massage and narse blue jarb". Still jetlagged, I'm thinking to myself "What the fuck is a 'narse blue jarb?'", then I realized they were saying 'nice blow job' in their heavy Russian accents. For a moment, I pictured the two ugly sisters giving me a 'narse blue jarb', and decided it really was time to go home fast, alone.

I took my pal aside for a moment, and said, "Hey, even if you don't end up taking Lena, at least get her number - I want to see her one night". He said "Okay, okay, now get out of here". I left my pal with Lena at the cab rank, with a sense of satisfaction that I had just made the world a slightly happier place, then went to the concierge to collect my luggage and got a cab home.

30 minutes later, pal called me to say he was with Lena in a hotel room in Holiday Inn right next to his apartment building. I laughed and said 'WTF?!" He said he would explain tomorrow, g'night.

He called today and said she was quiet to start with, but warmed up after a few drinks, and was the best sex he's had in ages - sexy girl, wet and tight, and the first time in ages he had wanted two sessions in the same night.

She had originally asked for 1500, they agreed to 1000, but then she refused to go to his apartment - wanting to stay in a hotel instead because she would feel safer the first time with a new guy. So he negotiated her down to 800 because of the extra hotel cost, paid 475 for Holiday Inn, plus the substantial costs of emptying the mini-bar into their respective tummies.

I asked if he got her number. He said "Sorry, we woke up late and had to get out of the hotel room fast, and in the rush I forgot".

Damn! I'll have to make a special trip across town to Jules Bar, hoping she will be there. Probably one of the best looking girls I've seen in Dubai.

PS - On arrival at Le Meridien just before 2:00am, I had asked reception how much for a room for the night. They said 1,100 plus taxes. I gave them a WTF look, said it should be half that price in the quiet season and this late at night as a walk-in guest. They said they were almost fully booked and that was the best price. Avoid.

[Bound For Fun]

Greetings. It's my first post, so I'll write a long one by way of introduction.

In several of my past trips to Dubai, I've enjoyed the company of three PRC (from the street) and two CIS ladies (from Cyclone and Rumours). I decided I wanted a more local flavor last week, so I went out in search of something Persian-looking. I was staying on SZ Road at the Chelsea Tower (between Shangri-La and the Rotana Towers / Sheraton Four Points area), so I wandered down to Crowne Plaza to see what was shaking at Zinc.

I never even made it inside. As I walked in the entrance, I took the elevators up to the coffee shop so I could take a look around the place before committing. Sitting completely alone up there sipping a large cup of coffee or tea was a beautiful middle eastern-looking lady. I tried to stop and chat, but she told me we could not talk there (a concierge was off to the side giving her the evil eye). Instead she gave me her mobile number and told me to call her from outside.

I went back downstairs and outside and wandered around a bit, just in case I happened to trip over a tall blonde Russian. With no such luck, I headed back up the street to the Chelsea and hit the digits. It rang through, but she called right back and we chatted. We settled on 1k, which may be a little high but it was my last night and I didn't mind. I waited downstairs, as the Chelsea requests that you take them in through the PG elevators and leave a copy of their docs with security there.

Boy did I get a shock when she showed up; there were TWO of them in the taxi! She said her friend wanted to come along, and would I mind 500 apiece instead of 1k to her. (Hmmmm. Let me think on that one for a while! ) Her friend was a little heavier, but also quite pretty in that uniquely middle eastern way. As a bonus, they were both dressed the way I prefer; pretty dresses with hose and staggeringly high heels, nice hair, makeup, and nail Polish.

I walked them through the process. Neither had been to Chelsea before. And we headed up to the room. They both declined any food or drinks and we headed straight for the room. I handed off the 1k and left about 60-70 in loose bills on the dresser for the inevitable "cab fare" request later. After that we all got naked; normally I'm into the "heroin chic" anorexic look and these two were definitely not from that family, but I might have a new soft spot for the curvy and voluptuous look. Both of these girls had a little extra around the middle, but absolutely gorgeous chests and a very nice behind on the one I originally called.

Normally I'm up for some interesting action (hence the user name), but I had a sunburn and a nasty cold coming on, so I just wanted a quiet night. They combined to give me a decent 2-girl massage. Not the best ever, but almost enough to put me to sleep without any other action. After the long massage I just wanted to snuggle up and snooze. Both said they were ok spending the night if I wanted, so I wrapped myself around my original choice and her friend settled in on the other side of the bed. We slept until the sun came up and woke them. I offered to walk them out, but they said it wasn't necessary if I'd pay for the cab.

I kept her number; I think I'll be inclined to try her again if she's still around. (She was talking about heading back to her native Lebanon in a month or two.) Maybe next time we'll get into the kinky stuff.

By the way, she said she alternates between the Fairmont, the Shangri-La, and the Crowne Plaza on the nights she feels like going out.
