It would appear that it was a well rehearsed drama. I think you have been too much of a gentleman (getting her tea in bed, actually going out of the way) In the emotions the line lines between a transactional encounter and a relationship are blurred.

It may be possible that she had some higher expectation (monetary or otherwise) as you were travelling and wanted you to verbalise it, you didn't and held your nerve and sat it out, may have bought her to the realisation to save her attitude for another day.

Now it took a little more time than usual to make the tea cause I was out of milk, and hence had to go to Carrefour downstairs to get it. Anyway, got the milk and made the tea which took about 20 minutes, by that time she had dozed off again in bed. So when I went to wake her up, she got into a really pissy mood, saying I took too long to make the tea, I'm insensitive, she hasn't eaten all day, blah blah and was really angry. I still wasn't sure what to do, there was still the risk that she'd cause drama downstairs or in the taxi. But I took the chance, as the main objective was to get her out of my room. So yeah, I packed (she helped me believe it or not), we went down, I called an Uber, sat with her and proceeded to the airport, got dropped off and said goodbye to her. Weird, bizarre story I know, first time this has ever happened.

Question. How would you handle such a scenario, where the WG is in your apartment (or hotel room), and causing extreme drama and is out of control, shouting, screaming, abusing. I didn't want drama so tried to contain it, so the drama stayed in the room, and didn't go outside, which was a much better outcome than I was hoping for to be honest. I also didn't miss my flight and it ended relatively well, but the experience was shit and a bit traumatic. I wasn't sure what she might do. Throw her out physically outside your room and close the door?
