More to tell of a crazy night until 3:00am closing time, including my interviews with WGs about the visa situation, police cars in various places at closing time, hot girls, etc. But it's late and this report is too long already. More later.

About 65% of WGs in York were African (mainly Ethiopian/Eritrean) - many new faces - some very cute. I took a few numbers. One of them looks like a younger slimmer version of Miss Trouble from last year - I love the long natural hair. There were about 35% PRC - not the top of my list, but a few cuties - especially a young chirpy bleached blonde with a tight bod. The other 5% were CIS in two gaggles of about 5-6 girls. Also not bad.

In Regal, the usual mix of almost all CIS - some blaaah, some yum. Two approached me and insistently (very unusual for CIS) tried to take me to a hotel for a threesome. Things must be tough. Last time I was here on the weekend and the place, the crowne plaza, was crawling with WGs. Outside, inside, in the bars, inside Zinc, at all hours of the day. I got here Tuesday and I've seen maybe 5 WGs since then.

Last time I was here it was only for two days so I never got out to other bars or clubs much just what was here at my hotel but since its kinda slow here and I have more time I figured I would venture out I just wasnt sure if certain places where better then others during the week.

I want to check out the York since I hear everyone always talking about it I just didn't know if it was only crowded during the weekends or if there would still be a good selection during the week too.

I would reverse the question – What’s a good place to hit at the weekend. Assuming you are referring to WG pickup joints and not regular night clubs (this is the ISG after all) IMHO it’s ALWAYS better in the week, the weekends are too manic, M/F ratio is much worse and prices are higher.

The bars here are kinda lacking right now compared to last time I was in town. Any suggestions?

Which bars are lacking compared to you last visit, I am sure others would find that information useful. From the Crowne Plazza a 15 AED taxi ride will take you to the Golden Triangle in Bur Duabi. Most of the girls I know, PRC and PI are leaving in the next week or so, some have already left. The new visa rules have left them with no choice and with Ramadan looming the decision is go home, wait till after Ramadan and then think about coming back. All we'll be left with is the illegals and the girls on 3 year visas (who don't come cheap - and don't come at all in my experience if you'll pardon the pun). Illegals will soon be rounded up pre Ramadan I reckon as they'll stand out like the proverbial.

Certainly the scene is going to change with no more visa runs. It looks like 30 day tourist visa can be extended to 60 days but that doesn't give the girls long to find business, pay for air fares and visa and save money. It will be a totally different business model. I'm hoping to see more semi-pros coming onto the market, we'll need to wait and see.

Some girls I know are planning on doing a regular Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai circuit - a few weeks in each then home for a month !

A CIS "Mama Rosa" (madam) I spoke to in York said she is worried because so many girls are getting caught now, and after several years here, she's quitting Dubai in Ramadan going home forever.

The annual pre-Ramadan clean-up is kicking in early this year it seems. With that plus the new visa rules, I fear we are going to see big changes in the Dubai scene soon.

Late in the night I accidentally became the victim of a girl-fight at Regal near the pool tables. Out of the blue, one of them was thrown against me by the other, and I landed flat-out on my back on the ground, with a girl lying on top of me writhing around, and the other girl trying to beat her. Have also seemed to see more LE cruising the streets of Bur Dubai around 2 to 3am generally when I have been out in the past couple of weeks so will be interested to hear your experiences last night Piper mate.

It's funny you should mention that as I've noticed a lot more activity by LE at closing time of late, particularly on weekends. A direct result of the Brit beach romp and reports of bawdy drunkeness on Fridays doing the rounds of the international media, I believe.

Friday before last, huge amount of police - maybe 20 in total uniformed and plain clothes (dish dashes) - outside Regent Palace at 3am checking all taxis as they left. I was with an old PRC WG "acquaintance" having taken her to Rocky's. Fortunately her finely tuned radar detected the LE long before I did and we made a sharp exit round the back separately and joined up down the road before hailing a cab well out of sight of LE. She was pretty frightened by seeing them there. Don't know if they were looking for WGs (neither Rock Bottoms or Rocky's, the two main venues there, are known WG haunts) or just plain old drunks and troublemakers, but definitely not worth taking any risks.

Saturday 3am, waiting for cab outside Ratskys, alone, after successful recon trip to cull some Fili phone numbers (both WG and non-WG). At least three patrol cars cruise past in quick succession, scrutinising all those waiting outside. On my own and not drunk, so not worried on this occasion.

Have also seemed to see more LE cruising the streets of Bur Dubai around 2 to 3am generally when I have been out in the past couple of weeks so will be interested to hear your experiences last night Piper mate.

After briefly checking Regal I went across to York, sat in the downstairs bar to check emails and friendster messages (plenty of PRC and Africans in the bar, no entry fee, and free internet). Some guy named Jason didn't log off his friendster account on the terminal, so his account opened up on the screen, showing me messages from his Filipina GFs. We went upstairs to the York Club around 930pm, where things were getting busy. Some nice new faces and bods. Around 10pm GS's Ethiopian GF called him, and he left to pick her up across the other side of town.

Over the next few hours I walked between York, Regal and Majestic hotels a few times, playing pool and chatting with girls at each place. It was warm outside but not too humid, so it was easy-walking.

When I entered Regal earlier in the night around 830pm, they let me in for free, but when I left at 9pm to check elswhere, I could see the Regal doormen were asking 100AED entry (no drink included), including for westerners. So I asked one of the doormen for a re-entry stamp as I was leaving. He just looked at me and asked why I want a stamp. I told him I'm a stamp-collector. He didn't get the joke, and told me if I come in later I will have to pay. He wouldn't budge, so I bullshitted about knowing the manager (I don't know him at all - Regal has new managers now) and the bastard called my bluff and got on the phone to the manager.

The manager came down in one minute, looked at me and said he doesn't know me. He was bit stressed and on the phone at the time, so I took advantage of this and intrerrupted him, telling him "Just ask your guy here to give me a stamp, and I'll be back soon". He said "okay okay - give him the stamp". The big doorman said "but ... but .." then followed orders and stamped my wrist with a begrudging smile. (I entered Regal three times last night, proudly showing the same big doorman the stamp with a big grin. He asked me how many times I was going to use the stamp, and I said - maybe six more times - the night is young!" and he whacked me on the shoulder with a laugh. He's a cool guy, just following orders.

Okay, maybe you could poke her boob to distinguish real from silicone, but how can you determine if she's wearing a padded or Wonderbra?

No "foolproof test" - only by brushing against them with the top of your arm as you lean over to hear what they are trying to say can give your own opinion - a heavilly padded bra will be a lot firmer/harder than an unpadded one, not to mention the general look & cleavage shown - but a girl trying to promote herself from an A cup to a C cup will need a pretty firm padding.
