I go to the Seaview for the band, but try to avoid the place on Thursdays, The Music Room in the Majestic is a place I frequent, yes there are occasional WG’s but this is not a prime pick up joint. I am sure most of the Filipinas are civilians.

I agree this is the case, and at the risk of upsetting Sporadic, I will mention that I am still seeing my regular, a witty, intelligent PRC with a full time job, almost two years after I “stole her from under his nose”. (BTW I am not reading the does marrying a WG work', thread.) But we are firm friends, and MK, I would in no way describe her as a subservient, compliant woman. I have bruises to prove it.

So, I have not been pulling myself but a colleague of mine still manages to find gems, one even invited him to visit her in the PRC, an offer he accepted and he had a great time. His latest GFE is a real star.

I totally agree with MK about Jockey’s Three years ago I was there several times a week, now, hardly ever. The odd time I do go I am ready to leave before I finish the first drink. To add insult to injury last time I was there they tried to charge 30 AED entry. But where else would you go if you want to pull early evening. The place has it uses.

Trips to the York, Rattlesnake, Regal, and Imperial Suites are extremely rare, usually when there is an out of town visitor who wants to go. Have these places gone down hill. Or is it me that has changed, probably both.

Just returned from another Dubai trip, report is going to be brief or at least briefer then previous ones due to the way things worked out.

Firstly; met up with another forum member - Krypto Knight - top guy and lots to talk about apart from the obvious! Will be keeping in touch.

The trip itself. First night called girl 'C', a russian from a previous report, she was unavailable as she was 'sleeping' and wanted some rest due to a previous late night. After that called girl 'S' who said she would call me back in an hour (it was around 11PM when I called her) and let me know if she was available, I took that as a qualified no and made my way to Regal.

At Regal approached another russian (girl 'L') who I have also reported on previously. This one's also busy for the night. Spent some time looking around the other talent thinking maybe I should just head to the hotel for an early night, given that I already had three strikes that night. More because I was there then for any other reason ended up taking an uzbek back for the night, she was ok but I overpaid and she left at 4.30 after saying all night. Should have taken my own advice earlier and left!

Night 2 met Krypto Knight at the Regal and chatted for a while which was good. I had called girl 'C' to meet up at Regal so she arrived around midnight, the three of us inc KK chatted some more and then 'C' and I left for the night.

Spent the rest of the week with the same girl; most mornings would drop her back to her after breakfast - anytime between 11.00am and 2.00pm being the latest - and pick her up once she was ready for the evening. I had met her only once on a previous trip however she had made an impression so I was keen to follow up, having spent the last week with her she is an absolute gem. Not a full blown WG by any stretch as she works also.

'C' is a girl that you could hang out with and more, and thats where dubai differs from other venues in that there is potential for finding some real keepers.

Anyway, I'm going to go and read one of those '...does marrying a WG work', threads while I figure out her visa application!!!!!!!

Damn dude sounds like you had a bad time. Dubai can be like that but hey man if you are not feeling the place or the ladies are not feeling you... to many places to go. Dubai is what you make it.....

I used to find some outright gems in Deira and Bur Dubai. Then Deira thinned out. Then Bur Dubai. Once Cyclone was gone, I knew the time was done.

Problem is Dubai's profile is way tooo high in the world...

Too much doom and gloom guys. There's still plenty on offer here.

Snake, Seaview, Kubu, Regal, Imp Suites, Jockeys, Hyatt Regency to name a few plus nearly every hotel bar I go in seems to have a smattering of WGs.

Branch out, try some of the Filipino clubs, at least the eye candy in the bands is usually good. Try Rocky's cafe (Regent Palace) above Rock Bottoms, eight girls in the band, all pretty horny and dressed in not much more than bikinis. Civilian and WG action definitely on offer in those clubs IMHO.

Might not be quite the same as three years ago, but so is a map of Dubai or an aerial photo. The pace of change here is ridiculous at times. But it's still the best place in the region

If the hunt is a bit more difficult these days, then so what? Makes finding that gem all the the more satisfying, and surely half the fun of this hobby is the thrill of the chase.

Be careful out there.

As I now return to Dubai only occassionally I have noticed a marked change for the worse in the mongering / adventure opportunities and in the frequency and excitment of DXB posts on ISG.

End of an era? I don't know but it IS a bloody shame whatever else it might be.

The thing that put's me off Jockey's the most is the smokey atmosphere. Agree that most girls register low on the looks scale but there are still some 7's & 8's that appear. I only go late afternoon early evening, later on you could be in a bar in Bangalore with the number of Indians there and a very different atmosphere. Re 500ST they definitely sussed you were on holiday! 300 max. Just across the road from Jockey's I've recently discovered the Majestic nightclub. Shame you never visited over there, a venue withi real potential IMHO. No idea what prices though as I went there with gf

Smoke does not bother me - I am lifetime non smoker- but it was worse 3 years ago before they renewed the ventilation. Perhaps its filters need a clean! But hey even though I may have been away I cannot be mistaken for a tourist, I have plenty of credentials in J's, still a member and still have waitresses getting the right beer with just a nod across the room.
Been in the Majestic several times and it is not really a pickup place although the occasional WG visits, management are keen to avoid being a copy of the York which they also own. You could suggest I also visit the Fantasia.....

I can't imagine why a European\Westerner would go there unless they are lost! There are plenty of places cheaper with just as good girls (Regal, Rattler, York (although quality sliding), Seaview, Majestic etc. And these prices are crazy!

Agreed. I never went there in all my time in Dxb. Went last night just to check it out as recent reports have highlighted it. You see I do RTFF!

I think you are being a bit unfair to DXB, there is still a lot of fun to be had here. I remeber 11Bravo (where has he gone these days?) saying a few months ago we never claimed DXB to be the best place in the world or anything like it but considering its in a Muslim country with tax free income it works ok for us. Sure its not a Thailand or Philipines but I can think of lots of places much worse that here.

I have little time for the two places mentioned, I have been to both (the Philipines often) and find the girls over rated. If a man wants a subserviant, compliant woman to boost his ego then they fit the bill. As often stated here I prefer TBR's. Sure the UAE always worked for me but now I wouldn't want to return full time. IMHO I saw the best of it and its a view shared by several of my colleauges who have also moved on.

Staying in Ajman for a couple of days - its actually quite refreshing after Dubai but looking more forward to returning to Spain in a few days for some swinging... at least it's free and the girls/wives want to do it!

From a mongering stance it may offer the afternoon early evening monger some sport. I was in there on Thursday evening at about 7-8pm F/M ratio was at least 10/1 but the prospects were mostly 4’s or less, mainly PRC and African with a handful of CIS. One was offering ST at 500dhms. Not my scene. Being Thursday decided to call it a day as the weekend evenings are always too busy.

Couldn't agree more, folk seem proud of living at AR but it reminds me of a UK new town like Livingston or Milton Keynes.....horrible!

Left friends and went to Premier. 95dhms entrance fee, drinks a staggering 30dhms. Very much like Cyclone used to be. Very CIS with the girls lining the walls. Mostly 7-9’s. Tried 5 girls opening rates all at 2K. Found a nice Belaruski whom I would have gone 1500 for but she refused even to entertain a 3some. Clientele mainly Arab and Sub continentals all obviously fairly affluent. Only about 10 European guys there shopping.

Excellent as always but being a Friday the Karaoke was on and being played far too loud, in any event I will never look at Karaoke in the same light after the great Russian Karaoke party in 50 50s place some months ago (see Kazakh thread). Rockbottoms was full of twenty and thirty somethings no WGs apparent.

Moved on to the Regal.

Big queue but seen by the bouncer who recognised me and came over to shake my hand and (long time etc etc) he wizzed me and Miss O to the stairs – no charge. Place was full maybe 60/40 ratio. Nothing of any great interest mostly 6’s or under. One rather drunk CIS threw herself at me and asked for 1k. Declined.
Miss O and I went to the upper bar (spiral staircase) and had a few quiet drinks. Back down to the masses where all the guys were getting worse for wear under the influence. Decided to call it a day.

So a rather disappointing return to Dubai. IMHO It has got too expensive in all respects including day to day living costs let alone mongering which now equates to European rates. There are better places in the world to monger now.

One last point. Ramada is excellent and for those of you afraid of losing the contents of your mini bar (as reported in many posts) the fridges in the Ramada are lockable, hide the key!

Well, for all the times, I payed no more than 1000 AED except for the first PRC which was 800, they were all LT.

Had my own drinks and snacks, so no Mini bar damage, which was good as the one time there were 3 CIS, they drank me dry.
