Having been out a few evenings this week with out of town visitors to various bars along Sheik Zeyed Road I thought I would give a quick recap of what you may expect from a mongering point of view. In general the reports refer to the period 9:00 to 11:30

Fibber Magees.

Just a place were expats hangout, watch football and get inebriated. Some maintain this is a gay bar, I have never seen any evidence, but chances for picking up a WG are close to zero. If you are looking for civilians, there were a lot of Irish girls attached to some Gaelic sports club getting drunk.

Harvesters – Crowne Plaza,

Certainly one or two WG, PRC and CIS get in there. If you are staying in the hotel it may be worth looking in before you decide to venture elsewhere, but don’t make a trip there.

Scarletts – Emirates Towers.

It was ladies night, M/F ratio was OK, and there were a few good looking woman but only one obvious WG, an African. Lots of British girls getting pissed – you can tell they are not WGs, their dress sense is worse and they act less ladylike.

There is Zinc, accessed from the ground floor and another upstairs. Looking at the people going in around 11:15 on Thursday I would say Zinc is the more likely to have the odd WG, I did not test the theory. As there are stories that some of the Rattlesnake girls are trying the Crown Plazza it nay be worth a look some time.

IMHO yes having taken Andrea and Alice there last year when I met Hunter. RTFF Hunter's FR mid to end last year as nice hotel. If you have car, park in the undeground car park and use the elevators so you avoid any walk of shame.

I had my booking at Radisson for the last 2 days of my trip.

I woke up late, had my breakfast and checked out of crown plaza and reached Radisson and checked in around 1pm. I had prior booking for standard king room but due to unavailability they upgraded me to the Royal Club room. The number was also good 700.

It was really awesome change for me and I decided to turn the heat on. My friend was to reach around 4 so slept again for a couple of hours then went out for little shopping right next door at Rolex Towers shopping complex with him. After a short evening out, we got back to hotel. After freshing up reached York around 9pm.

It was my first of the lot at the said golden triangle area which I learnt here at ISG & had in my list to enjoy at. I liked the place immediately as I entered. It has space and enough area to roam about even if it is full. The bar is also quite long all the way through and also an additional bar at the corner of entrance. The crowd was not bad too. Some basic PRCs, Africans and some CIS. I always like the CIS personally. The good thing I liked was most of them were very young around 18-20 yrs. I took my usual Red Bull drink and started to enjoy with my friend. I liked one good CIS with whom I approached. As soon as I greet her, her pimp female came in right away and said she could not speak english so you can talk with me. You're right 11B. Bars close 3am with last orders/lights up about 2.30, sometimes a touch later. York probably best if you're looking for her place as many live in the Bur Dubai area so only a short cab ride. Just ask before you seal the deal whether price includes "house money".

After chucking out time between 3am-4am many WGs hang around Bank Street near to York - mainly PRC and Africans. In the distant past found the odd jewel in the crown there. I happened to go that way home in cab at that time after Seaview last Thursday and the crowd was still there, looked like plenty of choice. Hi guys, heres my second day of the trip at crowne plaza.

Went to emirates mall for some shopping in daytime with my friend who left in the evening. Reached back to my hotel got freshened up and straight away hit the Zinc at the lobby of the hotel. It was quite with not much of mongering activity. Only couples were allowed to get in. I liked the place however with its good area & ambiance inside. Did not stay for much long and went to the Premiere Club as I did not want to waste my time like last night going around places. I knew where to get my 8-10 rating girls and to have the best use of my holidays. 95 dhs entry fee at 11. 30 pm. I had a sigh of relief when I entered as I felt relaxed after getting back to the place again after 10 months and found my choice of girls.
