I agree with the prices, specifically PRC, with the point being that there are

• weekend "surcharges", ESPECIALLY Thursday night
• market "fluctuations" - e.g., good business night, prime time, 11pm-1am, an a-lister will quote a SERIOUS 1000LT / 500 ST
• you do pay a premium for taking them prime time rather than at closing
• discounts possible if she's already made some money that night

Again pretty much in agreement with Cool Nomad's pricing although I'm not an expert on CIS. For PRC and African I have never paid more than 800 (and that only once) though and I tend to leave by 11 or 12 at the latest. I have certainly picked up quite a few PRC and African A-Listers in my price tollerance range so see no reason to 1000 or higher, its a case of shopping around. When I do talk to WG's who demand silly money I tend not to like them anyway, they seem a bit full of themselves so I quickly move on to others who are more friendly and realistic IMHO.

The price I'm prepared to pay has two variables to it though, looks and personality, with the latter having more weight for me. I would much rather have a slightly less good looking girl with a nice friendly personality that I can have fun with than Miss World with a face like my arse for the whole evening hence my aversion (in the bars at least) to CIS. I think when you read WR's reports with Miss N the same tends to come through, he really seems to have a top time with her and hence she get's lots of repeat business with WR and friends. I'm not saying she is not beautiful but there are plenty of beautiful girls out there who possibly don't get too much repeat business as the personality bit may be missing.....Miss Cleopatra probably being an example.

PS For supporting you WR can you please call off the lawyers?

The average rates for LT are more like the following:
CIS (A-lister) 1200
CIS (7/8, sometimes 9) 700-800
PRC (A-list, >8) 700-800
PRC (6-8) 500-700
African (A-List) 700-800
African (other but >5) 500
Some CIS, ME, Indian sub continent A+ (?) listers go for fancy prices (>1500)

These are Median prices with adjustments necessary for late pick-ups, early returns and week ends. Appreciate resident punters input on above observations.

Mongering Inflation control
Thanks for the control mechanism for mongering inflation! Specially visitors tend to offer more than the market, resulting in locals like us paying more than what we are used.

More likely wishful thinking. Basic economics: a commodity is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, whether that decision is based on fact or perception; just look at the price of oil.

Certainly visitors will pay more

• being unfamiliar with the market
• given they're here only a short time, an increased cost of a couple of hundred dirhams per night insignificant when averaged over a year
• wanting to spend their time "enjoying" rather than looking for the best deals

That being said, I've certainly NOT found any shortage of good looking girls willing to go for a decent price (as per Cool Nomad's price list).

My intel reports indicate a return to "normal" with many returning from visa/vacation runs and the relaxation of post-Ramadan.

Business as usual in other words.

I think the market is still suffering from a Cyclone hangover, with not everyone finding a new office to their liking.

I also have heard reports of several CIS and a couple PRC ladies returning. This was unplanned, but economics rules.

My experience, confirm all of the above, especially for some a-listers who had the finances to go home and sit out Ramadan, now returning.

Those that stayed, a number had a rough time of making ends meet during Ramadan, but with that past, punters from everywhere returning to the market, and a series of dxb conventions in town, things looking up for the suppliers.

Most Cyclone refugees still bemoaning its passing, the 'Snake and York just not the same. Others have tried to cultivate steady customers, thus not having to go out to the bars to find employment.

You will be hearing from WR´s lawyers.

I have been in the same situation, when my family moved to Dubai.

I was living with my GF then, I had to rent a flat for her. As for the other "regulars" I have to content myself with ST.

It is sad when good things come to an end.... (If you need to keep them you end up paying a very high price)

I'm seriously considering the flat option, I do know one girl from York who has a nice little studio in Bur Dubai she pays 3000dhs a month for, not a bad price really.

I'm looking forward to some of the ST though, I've scoped out a couple of AMP over the last couple of months and have the star performers registered ;-)

Sadly, my regular gf decided to move to dbx so my serious mongering days will certainly be curtailed. I'll still have plenty scope for MPs and, as I travel a lot on business there will some be opportunity for two or three days per month. The real bummer though is having to release Princess L, she spent all of last week with me and I have to say I enjoyed every minute and am missing the banter now. We do have an arrangement set up for STs but not the same. If any of you happen to meet her in Metro and take her out for the evening be nice, she's a lovely girl :-)

All may not be lost though, I am working on trying to convince my gf that dbx is not really for her and she should go back home. We'll see!

The Africans and PRC´s (do not confuse them with Asian looking Stanis) at the Regal are indeed going for the rates mentioned by Individual.

Why would anyone doubt him?

I actually prefer the French and Italian girls at the York though, 200Dhs LT is the norm.

Don´t waste your time with the American and Australian girls at Jockeys though, they were asking for 4-500Dhs LT last time I was there (as if anyone would want an American girl! Even Piper has standards.)

The Spanish and Brazilian girls at TGIT can also be a bit expensive at 400 Dhs ++ (Taxes, can you believe it?) for LT, or 600 for the weekend.

Finally I have a new report from Dubai! Bet you can't wait. This particular visit took place a few days before Ramadan started and involves regular clubbing at Zinc and Grand Hyatt's club called the Mix which had a few surprises in store. Ending with a WG hunt at Regal's. Enjoy...

Zinc at Crowne Plaza seems to have gotten a few more WG's this past year, seems to be a mix of a few Asians and a few African and and CIS as well. A few meaning 2-4 of each in my opinion. Perhaps a more trained WG eye can spot more?! Did a dry run for research purposes since none of them were my taste and I wasn't drunk enough, starting price seemed to be in the 1000 Dhs range except the CIS which wanted 1500. They seem to be mainly hanging out at the back bar closest to the entrance.

Mix at Grand Hyatt also seems to have a few WG's, only spotted some great CIS ladies, looked expensive and they were, starting price 3000! Blonde, Busty and Beautiful. Funny thing was they seemed to have some pimp/ friend with them who approached me stealthily and made the introduction. Had a collegue from work with me so I played dumb and declined the offer. Made me think though, LE perhaps?

Finally clubbing around Dubai made me aching for some proper hunting so I went to Regal's just before closing. Had to pay cover at the door, firsttime for me I had to do that! Club was overcrowded with men and very few ladies but I found a decent Uzbeki, with a nice bust which i am a sucker for, decent command of english and fun-loving attitude. Nice catch, LT for 700 total damage. She didn't even want taxi money.

Rates change with hour of day or night in DXB, you omitted the fact that your rates could be 'outside the bar' at 4 am.

It would take a good man to come away from the Regal with a decent CIS at 500 these days, as for the mystical PRC to be found there at 400??? Afrikans, never in a million years.

As for the free ones, well I would expect the Astoria to see a massive upturn in business now that you have advertised the Afrikans there are free!!!

If that is the case, who is paying for their living costs????

Once last year, towards the end of the 'salary month' I was a little strapped for cash and did manage to get a beautiful PRC from Imperial to pay me 2 Dhms to take her. She did have other reasons, like the fact that I returned her translator she left in my room. See FR some time back.
