Started the night by checking into a certain vintage 5 star in Karama. I had told them that my girlfriend would be joining me later and they were completely ok with it. Reception was even happy to send up two toothbrushes at 2 am.

I hit up Regal Plaza first. Charged 150 to get in with 1 drink included. The Talent was sub-par to say the least. The only 9/10 was taken by a huge Arab dude before I even got my first drink..

Good job mate. Concur with your experiences. Regal hasn't been great in recent times. Been there twice hoping to see some good WG but left disappointed. Might try out York after your FR or return to Moscow. Most of my best experiences have been out of Moscow.

Being my first time, I was pretty nervous to approach anyone so just sat there spectating for a while. Within a couple of minutes, one of the bouncers walked up and started acting all friendly. I thought it was nice of him at first but got kinda annoying once he started begging for me to "take care" of him. Told him I'll sort him out before leaving. That finally got him to leave me alone. He was kind enough to pass on some wisdom before he left. Normal prices are AED 800 - AED 1,500. Can go down to AED 500 depending on the chick. Anyways, took a quick walk around the place and couldn't spot anything my type so left soon after. It wasn't a bad place overall. All the ladies were huddled up in groups talking with each other, with a couple 2/10's scattered around, on their phones.

Definitely would not recommend. The girls were 5/10 on average. Most were old and kinda chubby. I'm really not into that.

Next up I walked down to York.

I didn't know where the bar was so walked into the hotel rather confused. The Doorman was nice enough. He pointed me in the right direction with a smile "Sir you want to go here."

Cover was AED 75, no drink included. Seems like a fair price so won't complain. Place is much bigger than I expected and a hell of a lot of hungry ladies around. I walked in looking like an armature, when an African waiter walked me to a "perfect place". Truth be told, it was anything but perfect. Had a chance to explore last week and decided to try out the Hyatt Place in Deira. After entering the club, was told that I need to spend AED 300 to get a table. It was a bit early around 11 PM, and I could see that there are not many ladies around, hence decided to head to Regal instead. But this place does seem promising and I could notice smiles from a few ladies as I passed by. Nevertheless, went to Regal and entry was AED 75 with 1 drink. A bit early here as well, found a table to park myself. This was my first visit to a club post-Covid and I could see that the format of the game is not very monger-friendly.
