I would throw Mint and Mirchi into the mix. They can be hit and miss, but you can definitely pick up some gems.

Eve at Voco (which has been written up before) is also ok, have been there once, similar to Blu at Raddison in Diera in the old days, small place and mainly managed EE.

Someone on the forum asked about 'diamonds in the rough' which got me thinking. I had also mentioned York, you can get lucky there sometimes and pick up a girl new to Dubai before she realises that she is better off plying her trade elsewhere. I would also add Imperial Suites. I have not been there since pre-covid. It used to be a nightmare to drive to, but was good for cheap afternoon takeaway.
