This city is in between Nanjing and Suzhou. Periodically I go here for business and there is little entertainment accept for KTV and saunas. I lived in Kunshan last year. It's a small city with a hell of a lot of action. There are two main RLDs. The first is a series of alleys in the apartment buildings right outside the train station. These are low class. If you want to find a better RLD continue walking down the main street which starts right outside the train station. You will have to walk for 10-15 minutes. You will eventually come to a bridge. Don't cross the bridge! Turn right and walk down that street to the end. You'll be in a superb RLD. Don't pay more than 150 RMB. I'm sorry I can't give street names because my Chinese sucks. I believe that the main street is Renmin Lu. If these instructions are no good, don't worry because there are about 10 RLD's and any hotel you stay in will have room service.

2. xuzhou [jiangsu province]

stayed the railway hotel. no action. seems very buttoned down 'old china' era, stern old hags on every floor in railway employee uniform and etc; no knocks on the door either

but; walking out and turning left found a fair number of bbs. rep001tered around just behind the hotel. 2 here, 2 there; didn't try, as most offerings looked past their sell-by dates;

walked the other way. out of the station with it at you back. across the small square and then take the road at 1o'clock, [not the one at 3o'clock]. walk perhaps 1km and you start to see a lot of little bbs type places;

I have been regulary traveling to Shaoxing and have always stayed at Hotel Shaoxing International.It's again a 5 star hotel. At the basement of this hotel there is a sauna and massage centre. In the vening when you'll go there they will directly take you to the rooms and line up 3 to 4 girls for you to choose. The service is good and communication is easy even if you don't know the language. Damage RMB 800 for about 2 hours includes everything.

Located downtown on renming lu north of zhongshan lu. A classy joint but disappointingly normal service. The spa itself is quite well furnished but the attendants were many and not of much help.
