Some remarks:

Difficult to find the right price policy for everybody. Is a bigger room a Junior Suite, if it does not have a Jacuzzi?

The rooms are built into a previously built residence of a rich Thai.

We also have the 9 new rooms now, 3 of them have DOUBLE JACUZZI's. We defined them to be Junior Suites - though they are a bit too small for that.

As I said - difficult to do it right for everybody.

I basically agree, and that was the reason to get the professional mamasan in. You should see the Sports Lounge now...you would be impressed.

Never met Giotto, but felt it would have been a nice touch for him to smile & say hi. He was always in a hurry.

Sorry - difficult for me to get the connection between a guests name and an ISG handle if you don't send a PM or even contact me directly...I really appreciate all ISG members here and establish contact between them.

I plan to visit again in March '07 and Oct '07.

IMHO, it is well value priced taking into consideration G's promotions - especially when my company pays for the rooms, and I get the discount...

I would disagree here - I have found and tried some good ones here. Looking strictly at value-for-money, it is a good and secure place.

Guido is very nice and even comped myself and 2 clients of mine with a shot of liquor. Never met Giotto, but felt it would have been a nice touch for him to smile & say hi. He was always in a hurry.

IMHO, every customer needs to make the first step: PM, make a post while you are staying. I am a long-standing customer, but it did not take long for Guiotto to contact me after my first post. Same if you want to meet other board members: we'll do it with pleasure if we know you are there. So next time maybe: we have experiences to share, this is the purpose of this forum.

This report is a few month late. It reflects my thoughts on my 5 day stay at the Lodge in Oct 06. It was my first stay there.

I stayed in the Junior Suite, which is very nice and large, but IMO, not value priced. Would choose a smaller, lesser priced room next time.

Pros: Fantastic wireless, aircon, bathroom, super comfortable bed/sheets, quiet, private like retreat, nice staff, great ready-to-cook breakfast (girls bf is not free).

Other Observations

- Majestic Grande used to be my favorite, but the LL has moved to the #1 spot.

- Sports Bar is small and the available talent was average, at best. I had my most fun bringing outside girls into the Sports Bar and then proceeding to the room.

- It would've been nice if there was someway to meet the other board members that may have been staying there.

- No shower curtain in the shower? Not sure why this is, but it did make it messy in the bathroom when I showered, particularly with a TG.

I plan to visit again in March '07 and Oct '07.

The Sports Lounge is changing. We have a new Mamasan, a very professionally acting woman who is taking care of all girls related issues.

The number of girls is rising, and the quality too. But all girls are now working service oriented - they found out that they can make much more money if the customer is happy and returns.

Good for them, good for the customers, good for the bar. Everybody wins.

She is really good. Hope she stays long. But usually these professional Mamasans are reorganizing hostess bars, and when everything works they get bored and look for the next bar to set up.

Good ho hear and for sure I will check, validate and report myself.

My next trip however (in Feb.) is with my wife and as my name is not PIPER (did he ever bring her?) I will not show up. She will check it immediately. So I will refrain from any constructed escapes unless we really follow different schedules (we meet with some Thai friends). However I will come back by my own later in spring/ summer.

BTW, where did the previous mamasan escape. Quit or different opinion with Ms Giotto. I was ok with her and I have some nice pictures from her as well.

Since she started to work in the Sports Lounge 2 weeks ago the atmosphere is clearly changing. She talks to all incoming customers first, and stops by from time to time, to check out whether all the needs of the customers are recognized by the bar staff. She tries to propose the right ladies for the customers who are looking for companionship.

She is really good. Hope she stays long. But usually these professional Mamasans are reorganizing hostess bars, and when everything works they get bored and look for the next bar to set up.

The number of girls is rising, and the quality too. The feedback I get from customers is better than ever before. There are not too many really stunning girls in the bar, may be 3 or 4. But all girls are now working service oriented - they found out that they can make much more money if the customer is happy and returns.

Good for them, good for the customers, good for the bar. Everybody wins.

A few weeks ago I wrote a report about my disappointment, about a very unpleasant event. I think I should also write what I feel today.

Things are starting to work, and I cannot talk about details. But my friends will know what I want to say.

I am optimistic now, though I cannot understand completely WHY it is starting to work. After weeks of conflicts, no sleep, heading from here to there to calm participants down - I was yesterday sent from A to B because A told me that I was needed by B... I don't think that anybody out there will ever understand what this means.

I am so unbelievable happy today. And I know that nobody out there can imagine what I have learned during the past few weeks.

Stayed at your premises last August, and enjoyed my time immensely. Totally non-obtrusive.. So have spent the past few days dithering about whether to do Pattaya, Bangkok, or PI this early Feb. Now a definate, conclusive no-turning back decision: Livingstone's.

Now need to buy a plane ticket... In your opinion any views on the cheapest business class ticket, from Europe, say London or Paris?
