I am very disappointed by you and Livingstones.... You always said that it is a very Discreet Place? and you go on telling everyone about my "german Sausage" history with Mr Guido
I left the Pool Party even before the girls ended up in the pool... must have been an early night

He was so rusty he was unable to join the dots together so ran to the desert instead. As for the other clown the Singapore Hockey Club lost its member and he ended up trying to face off the locals in Sentosa where he lost the puck. End result he was never allowed back to the lodge.
As for our rusty friend there is still hope although having been offered a night with a TV from DiA he is beginning to wonder if the offer from Giotto of rust removal with WD40 is a possibility !!
Perhaps Santa will open the stocking early and grant him his wish

Well here I am in Malaysia listening to a Project Manager tell me how he got canned and then I recommend he goes to Bangkok to enjoy himself. And lo and behold what does he say but "i have been there" and describes the lodge off pat - now this is a coincidence or what and yes my impression of said individual went up a notch or so.
Now the real question is will he read this and then add the dots together !!

You will have to walk some 20 mtrs to the inside of the alley and if it si the right time (afternoon onweard) some girls will help you. What a great way to be welcomed at LL!

Novotel Lotus is 50 m away from Livingstone's ... that should be ok. I don't know about a Novotel hotel in Soi 20. Soi 20 is about 500 m from here.
I would take a taxi ...

Hello Giotto,
I read your report on using the Airport Link train a while back, and was considering using it (although will be pretty wrecked by the time I fly in).
I then found the Airport Express bus, which drops off at a few of the larger multinational hotels for THB150. As you seem to be relatively close to some of these hotels (Sukhumvit Soi 20 -Novotel Hotel, Sukhumvit seem to be closest according to google maps), is this a viable way to get to the lodge from the airport in the mid afternoon, or would you recommend the train or taxi (they both seem to get mixed reports)?

We shall not report this to red shirts, don't worry.
LL is indeed an oasis in the centre of the city.
I forgot to mention the great attitude of the girls at the Sports Bar, but I know it is none of your business. Your mission is the marmalade container.
You have a mission by overwhelming demand!

Your are totally right. I am staying the first time here at the Lodge and I had my problem with the marmelade too. I was about to throw them into the pool LOL
Apart from that, I enjoy my stay here very much. It is really a little oasis in a very busy city. Now sitting at the pool, looking at lovely ladies, having a beer or two. Life can be worse.
