Clydesdale, RearWindow, you say you got a virus from the site and then you quote the HTML link in your reply. Real frigging smart there you two. If you are able to do so let me suggest you go back and delete YOUR messages which contain links to infected sites.

BTW, my Symantec AV did not detect any viruses and I scanned my machine and did not find any. You guys must have gotten "lucky". Even so, I apologize to anyone out there who got a virus from SOMEONE ELSES site, at least to everyone who hasn't been pricks about it.

Actually, technically it wasn't a virus, just malicious code, as stated in my title. The chica virus thing was just to add a little humor. If you clicked on the box disguising itself as an ActiveX control, you downloaded and installed software that steals a lot of system resources and causes numerous system conflicts. It slipped by Norton AV, SpyBot search and destroy, and my firewall. AV software won't find it. SpyBot probably would have caught it in the next scan, but I didn't have to wait because my firewall immediately started flagging it trying to send info off my computer. I wasn't attacking, just warning.

Now on to the important stuff - the Halloweeniepalooza. I sent a few of you my #; anyone else needs it - pm me. It will be fun. BE THERE!

You might, and I stress, might, find one or two telephones close to the bridge that will take U.S. coins. Seems as if I've seen them. I know we have a few here in NL. Mexican pay phones though take a LADATEL/TELMEX smart card which you can buy at almost any farmacia or money changer starting at $50.00mn and up. Insert the card into the slot on the phone, wait for the phone to recognize the card and then dial your number. There is an LCD display on these phones to tell you what's happening.

As far the MP's coming to pick you up, that is a new one to me.

What's going on there Coyote, and you answered your own question, is you took a cab to the place. The additional $20 was kicked back to the cabbie as his commission. You don't really think these guys are taking you to these places out of the goodness of their hearts do you?

Read this forum, take notes and next time you are in Juarez and must take a taxi, have them drop you off a few blocks from your destination. Then walk. When finished, most of the MP owners will be glad to call you a cab. Save the propina!

Spare me the hot air, oh ye of infinite wisdom because you have more posts than I do. After seeing that SOME of you got a virus from the site I tried to delete the message but was unable to do so. I was also unable to report my own messages using the "report post" option so I emailed the forum requesting they delete or edit the offending message.

how true is this....kind of doubt it since im pretty sure if this option was available some of you vets would be posting this stuff on the boards

my friend told there are (now i dont know if they are masajeras) phone numbers you call to order for service to your domicile.....i heard of this in juarez but he told me that some of the girls would make the trip to a us address. he told me they charge around 500 pesos. he heard this from truck drivers and other peeps...why im a posting and asking here...because of course he doesnt have the number (s) to call....

anyone out there know of this method...sure will save a trip to j-town

i doubt if you'll find any willing or able to come to el paso for 500 peso. all the outcall masjistas advertise in the classifieds of the local juarez paper. i've heard they run around $100 for an hour or so at your location. be careful!
