Most of the clubs are close to the border, a block west of Ave Juarez on Mariscal. There's plenty of SWs a block west of Mariscal but a lot of them aren't really women.
There's plenty of information if you search the forum.

Good post New Bound. It's funny - I feel more apprehension those last few blocks on the way back to the bridge (and sometimes ON the bridge) than I do further down or on Mariscal. Mainly for those reasons that you had. Seems to me that the "nite-punks" are out to make an impression on somebody even if it's only themselves and their self-preceived glory.

One nite by the Cave (I think) I watched a few gringo kids talking thru the screen of the truck. "Don't worry - you ain't going anywhere. WE'll get you out". When the female driver came over and they started talking to her, no less than 6 other Policia got in the middle, moved the female away a bit, and 1 drove into the dark streets of the city with the occupants. The overall impression I had from the other kids was that they thought of it as if their buddy(s) was in the custody of a Burger King security guard.

I refuse to use the word "gangster" in today's world. Gangsters are well dressed and are low-key business orientated. GangstA is even above some of the mentality in most of kids anywhere - not just in Juarez.

Maybe it's just me, but it feels that the further away from the American kiddie crowd I go the more secure I feel about my environment. Not less suspicious but a bit more at ease.

I see the same thing here in Vegas. The kiddie tourists come in and get drunk and it becomes an instant contest of who can be more stupid. Some blame the 24 hour aspect of life here and I guess the chica factor and collision of culture can be blamed there but to me, at 52 years of age, it just seems like a blatant disregard for "someone else's neighborhood". No respect in their young throw-away world. Like partying at someone else's house when their parents are out of town. No sense of responsibility, no concept of accountability.

And as great as our country is in so many aspects, the justice system sucks. It's, for the most part, laughable. There are no lessons to be learned. Across the border you act like an asshole it costs you. There's good and bad in both but I think the purpose is to teach action and reaction; crime & punishment. It's hard to learn to take responsibility for your actions when there is no consequence of any proportion. Besides - you're sure to sound cool when you brag about being in a Mexican jail...

I've always thought it was interesting with most of the bars and their "NO CHOLOS" signs. I think it's a great idea on a broadscale. I don't know if it works or not but it sounds good. But the common denominator seems to be "irresponsible drunks" equate to stupid people.

Oh oh. I better stop. I feel a full blown manifesto covering the breakdown of sociey coming on...

It sounds like the best thing to do is get a taxi after you go across bridge and go to MP or maybe clubs, I am new out here, haven't had chance to go yet, but what you write concerns me about walking down Ave. Juarez!

    Ave Juarez

Cienega32, good post about the "dog catcher truck" on Juarez Ave.

I spent every Saturday night for about 3 months hitting those clubs on Juarex Ave and I was always amazed with the number of fights, and the number of American and some Mexican kids gettng thrown into the dog cage for a trip to the Mexican jail. Almost surreal. The more I think about it, in all my wondering around Juarez this is probably the most dangerous area and unlike anything else in Juarez, or Mexico City, or Tijuana, or the South Side of Chicago, or Cali Columbia or anything.

I'm talking about the ten block area South of Juarez Ave after crossing the Santa Fe bridge, plus the near side streets around Hollywood and Queens, etc, on the weekends.

You have admit this is a weird area. Where else do you have 2000 (I want to be a gangster) American kids walking over to an area to get drunk and fight. Where else do you have 15 clubs playing gangster rap/hiphop and nothing else. Seriously, I don't know of another area with such a high percentage of kids (wanting to be gangsters) and wanting to start fights. These are not real gangsters of course, but in some ways they are more dangerous because they are looking to show off in front of their friends how tough they are. They are not money motivated, but simply acting like idiots. Then you have some real Juarez kids who show up to flaunt their tough guy skills as well. Then you have some experienced older opportunists looking to make a buck off all the chaos. And, of course the Juarez police who instead of patrolling the streets would rather a stabbing occur so they can take some kids to jail. In some ways it is funny, how the police simply watch until a hardcore fight breaks out, then decide to make the arrests.

I personally walked the Juarez streets late at night often because my girlfriend lived a few miles southeast from the Santa Fe bridge. I only had a problem once. I was across from the Cave at 2:00 AM on Juarez Ave on a Saturday night and was jumped my 10 street rats. Only time in my life I've had any thing like this happen. Maybe I was wearing the wrong color, or they thought I was someone else, I don't know. In my opinion they just wanted to kick the crap out of someone. They picked wrong guy, as I broke a few kids heads open pretty bad. Still I lost a few teeth. The whole thing was completely absurd and I can't believe it happened to me. If it can happen to me it can happen to anyone. Trust me.

Back to Juarez Ave late on the weekends. I should have been more careful due to the number of fights I witnessed-- some really bad. I saw one black kid getting his head banged in on the Santa Fe bridge one night-- he might have died. Everyone was walking by and not even trying to stop it. Crazy. Still, it is easy to let your guarddown because there are a number of young women walking around so it just doesn't seem very dangerous.

Bottom line, be careful here guys. I still think this is a cool city, but be careful walking Juarez Ave big time.

I'm sure some of you disagree which is fine. I won't respond. I just want guys to have fun and not get hurt. Hopefully this city confronts the violence and cleans it up.

Here's a good link regarding the prescription drugs:

    http://www.customs.ustreas.gov/xp/cg...tion_drugs.xml

I think the main objective at the turnstiles is to prevent the "abusable" items as I've yet to have a problem with the general household antibiotics that merit a script in the States. I've declared them when I cross but as I mentioned earlier - in reasonable amounts.

I would think that the "enhancers" might/could be considered an abusable med based on the guidelines for dispensing them (heart/BP related problems, etc.) and the reason that most monger-type people take them, which in most of our cases, is not how they were intended.

FWIW - I've never been in the position to openly need to declare the enhancers either here or in TJ. Such a big box for such a little pill.

I do have a decent little supply here at home but only because - well damn it - they're just fun to have handy!

    Slippery little chicas ....

I don't get to Juarez as often as I'd like - but recently circumstances have allowed some recent visits. Here's the kicker - I had the best FU*K the other day at Genesis with an 18 year old named Brenda. Went back the next day and she had quit. She was so sweet and we moved in sync the entire session. She was a little humored and confused initially at my low-keyed slow approach but she got into it - and as I said, we were moving in sync. Very hot and a real GFE.

Did one of you guys subsidize her? Did you run off with her? Life just isn't fair sometimes.

I remember several years ago having a 17 yr old at Laura's (beautiful thing) thinking I was in for a real sweet treat. No such thing. Young and beautiful does not always translate into hot sex.

But with Brenda, I was stupified. She was my dream come true. Where or where did my little chica go??? As I said, life is not fair.

But they are not O-T-C in the US so if you want to (legally) bring any back into the US you will need a prescription from a doctor in the US (land of the free).

Those are over the counter - no prescription needed. I don't know if there's any difference between the pharmacies. I recently got some flu meds that would have cost a $75 doctor visit and $40 for the pills for $4.50 over the counter there.

    Can you believe it?

Its been a long while since I went to Juarez with a boner and the intent on getting laid and not getting any.

In the afternoon I went to Venus Massage and had Alejandra, the cornrow chica. Hot chica but she is really hung up on herself and tries hard to upsell. That is a negative in my book. She said she loves to suck then fuck but for 20 bucks extra. I said no and just let her give me a hand job. The reason I opted for the handjob was if a chica really likes to suck and fuck she should do as she pleases. Experience has taught me how to deal with attitude. So I denied her the suck and fuck she loves. Guys, stick to your guns, not your nuts. This is part one of my Saturday.

Part 2. Met up with Clydesdale. Poor little Diana #2 was awaiting his arrival as was I. She wanted me to call him but I told her I would send him an email today and laughed. She wasn't working and Clydesdale was a little late and I was considering taking her myself. She told me she was going to walk a friend home and come back. So I headed to Queens and guess who walks up. Talk about being a day late and a dollar short. She was long gone and never came back.

We went for burritos at Adrians burrito stand. For those that don't know Adrians Burrito stand is on Mariscal street just around the corner from burrito row on Ignacio Mejia. Excellent as always. We hooked up there with Adrian's cousin and headed off for sport. Noche y Dia was unusually good, lots of hotties. I eyed one little cutie at the same time cousin nudged me and said she was cute. He pointed to the chica I was eyeing. Cousin is a nice guy and doesn't monger much so I stepped aside and called cutie over. Her name was Sandy and is as cute as can be. They really hit it off. Clydsdale and I excused ourselves and headed out to check for more action and left the 2 alone.

We cruised around and Clydesdale found his honey for the evening so I went off to fend for myself. By this time it was late. I went to Queens and thought I'd give Alexandra a spin. She wanted 80 but settled at 50 but started to give me this spew about the ticket to go upstairs and a bunch of other nonsense. So I left and looked for Marisela. Gone. It was even later now. I was walking around like a chicken with its head cut off looking for pussy. Guys, it just didn't happen for me last night.

Part 3 to the story will go down tonight. I still have a boner. Its Sunday so maybe I will get a deal.

    The Filthy (horny) One

Rather than a new post, here is part 3 attached to the original.

I returned Sunday evening and walked the neighborhood. Pretty slow but hey, it was Sunday, I didn't expect much, just a wet hole. I thought I'd give Noche y Dia a try but the hotties from the night before were not there so I left. I wound up at Aņo Nuevo and Minnie was so cute sitting there. I took her up and had a fantastic time. I will spare you the gruesome details but it was great. I was cured, for the moment. It was so hot with her, I had another boner today just thinking about the night before.

    No more bridge show?

I've always enjoyed a Mexican dog and the 2AM side show at the top end of Ave Juarez before crossing back to the USA. Always a few rude & drunk loud mouth kids thinking they run the show being tossed into a "dog catcher truck" in front of one of the "college kid discos" by the Santa Fe bridge. Welcome to Mexico, gringo. Damn near became a riot one time I was coming back.

Is this late nite entertainment of mine going to be a thing of the past?

I went to the Casa Colorado/Sans Souci Friday night and found the selection of girls to be disappointing. December has usually been a good month for a lot of the better looking girls to come out and work, but it looks like times have changed a little bit. It seems like all the not so thin girls that were working in October were the only ones working Friday night.

Business was also really slow. Even if someone came in, they'd drink one beer and then leave. I wonder if the quality of the girls had anything to do with that? Maybe someone should mention to Ricardo that he should try recruiting some different girls.

For PeckerWill. I talked with Lety and she said she'll be working until December 23rd and then return to work sometime in January.

Clomonger - that sounds like Edgar at National. If so, he's a real nice guy w/ a good understanding of pharmacuticals. I always stop and shoot the shit with him every time I go even if I don't shop. One time he had a few sales on with general pharms; 3 bottles=better price, etc. I ended up with about 20 or 25 bottles of various "household meds". I'm not sure but I think I may have given him the idea back then about consolidating the meds for the walk back. At the time I didn't know what was allowed at the border and I was stuffing them here and there in my touristo bags. 6 bottles was easier to "conceal" than 25.

Customs has no problem with us bringing back the basic antibiotics and things along that line. And they'll let you bring back what would appear to be a normal amount. I think it's a 90 day supply or a 1 year - can't remember. The controlled narcotics are a problem and that list changes from time to time. Somacid is a recent example. Great stuff that helped my lower back pain but a real popular abuse drug in America. Edgar had to pull them off the shelf by "request". But in general, they don't want you to set up shop in America with the stuff from Mexico. And some people do. We had a store or two in Vegas that got busted for selling MX drugs to the neighborhood. Normal stuff like Amoxicillan. Things that saved people doctor bills.

National (Edgar's joint) is a basic (Mexican) non-prescription store and, for the most part, anything you can buy there you can bring back. Of course in America where you need an HMO, referral to a specialist, and prescriptions for some overpriced crap to cure a hangnail - EVERYTHING is a prescription. There're some good reasons for that but with a little intelligent on-line research about the drugs you may need, one can be safe regarding interactions, reactions, etc.

When they ask what you're bringing back just state some basic antibiotics (if that's what they are) and they'll look to make sure. I'll tell them what each item is & I've never had them open a bottle. I'm always ready to explain that "I don't have health insurance and blah, blah, blah..." just in case but I think they're more concerned with Somacids and controlled items like that.
