Well everyone, I am back from my visit. A real eye opener, and that's not all that was opened!!

I stayed at Radisson, which is west of centre, near Kievskaya metro. Excellent standards, great breakfast, nice fitness centre, and they let girls in, but the documentation check was a bit of a pain, especially if you're trying to be low key. The check is done away from reception and bar though, so not too embarrassing.

Went to NF early as I suggested to a friend we include as an essential tourist visit. Eating here would have been a better option to avoid entry charge on reflection. A recent Moscow trip:

I arrived on a Friday evening about 6pm and planned an early session with a girl I had picked out of a Tochka on an earlier visit, who I know as "Tochka Anya". I agree fully with Ca_T and RM that tochka girls aren't "walking wounded" or "trash". Have had the occasional one with light physical damage, but even they were very accomodating. I have to agree with CAt on the tochka girls. When I tochka, which is not so often these days, I tend to do my tochkaing at the "5 mins walk from CF" tochka, and I always end up with sweet, regular girls from either the provinces, Ukraine or Moldova. Invariably they are 18-22, and have come to Moscow for one or two months to make some cash and then go home. Most of them admit to having boyfriends back home if pressed. You can even ask them what stories they tell their bf / parents about their visit to Moscow if you want to see them break out into a laugh.

Sure, I have seen trash at some tochkas, but unless you are really happy with the girl, or its late at night, check out a few tockhas before accepting trash. Thank you all very much for the useful information you put in the WSG. Here is my very first report to WSG, and also my very first visit to Moscow, Russia, Europe, this mid-November 2003. Apologies for my mistakes in English, which is my fourth language. Thank to your info, my trip went well, and even beyond expectations...)

ECONOMY STATUS OF RUSSIA: good to realize, due to recent de-communization and capitalization of the national economy, there is an inflation rate above 10%, and hence a black economy. That is, you pay an expense, and do not always get a bill for your expense report... In expensive hotels and restaurants, you get a bill, whereas elsewhere...( - Also, if last year you paid some US$ 100 for any given service, expect it to be US$ 110 today. According to Moscow Times, what is traded on the entire Russia stock exchange at the moment (November 2003) is equivalent to only twice what is done in next-door 5.1 million people Finland. Thus, with a market of some 150 million Russian people, they still have a long way to go for developing their market economy and local IRS.

AIRPORT TAXI. - Landing at Moscow Airport at 05.40 am local time, going through customs and immigration, recovering luggage, once into the arrival hall, there are many men trying to lure you to get into their taxi at some US$ 70-80... Calling in advance, the hotel had told me about an average of US$ 50, or Rubles 1500, which is what I got one of them to agree. Mistaken by my foreigner’s accent he drove me first to the National Hotel, just opposite the West wall of the Kremlin. As the facade was not looking like the picture of the Tatiana Hotel, I showed him the detailed internet info with the picture, and driving me for a few more minutes, I finally got there (at no extra charge).

HOTEL and METRO. - The 4 stars Tatiana Hotel is located South, South-East of the center, along the Garden Ring, 5 minutes on foot from Paveletskaya Metro and Train Stations. That is at the intersection of the circular and dark-green lines of the metro, and 0.1 mile from the HP and Unilever Offices. Hence, if you want to see the architectural wonders of Moscow’s metro, even with a next to zero knowledge of the Russian language, you can go either to the Boar House or to the NighFlight, without even having to change line. Room prices of that hotel range from US$ 190 for a simple (and larger than at Paris, France) room with queen size bed, up to US$ 280 for a suite, VAT included. Price of a suite at the national Hotel can be as high as some US$ 800 per night. There are only 75 rooms in the Tatiana hotel, and no hotel-girls, neither at the bar, nor at the relaxation center. I found it to be a girl-friendly hotel: on the one hand, in the hall, in the tourists cards display, they have all the cards with info about most sought night life spots, and on the other hand, a morning, I saw an escort coming out without being neither embarrassed nor harassed at all. Later, I came back in the evening with one girl pulled from the Boar House, and there was no check at all...;o)

Preparing my visit, searching for nice ladies, I of course explored websites already mentioned in the WSG, which, as most of you know, are in the Russian language. However, one of the salon/sauna place mentioned in earlier report has now a translation in English, but it advertises US$ 150 per hour instead of US$ 50 as reported about a year ago. Referring to recent reports to WSG, this ratio for booze is about the same one than for girls: same booze, same girls, but different prices...

The yellow taxi taken from the hotel dropped me there on Monday evening, at 20h30. First I went opposite the avenue to explore that new gigantic shopping mall, spread on three floors. At the restaurants area of that mall, I spotted a few girls sitting alone. If only I could already speak Russian... At 21h00, I went into the Boar House, left my jacket at the cloakroom, next to the entrance, and walked around. Having had a business diner at the National Hotel on my third and last evening at Moscow, walking out, the temperature being mild, no rain, I walked up Tverskaia street until the Chekhov Theater, and back. On both ways, catching a glimpse of that nightclub, I saw three beautiful girls going in, dressed with recent, sophisticated and expensive fashion. Well, none of them could erase the image of sweet Ella out of my memory, and not willing to pay the extravagant entrance and booze prices, I passed and went back to the in-call place. (See above).

Tochka girls: on the way back from the Center to Palevetskaya, the taxi driver suggested me to see the Tochka girls. Well, having read in WSG report how these girls can be beaten, harmed and wounded, and not wanting to give my hard earned money for guys to keep mistreating ladies again and again, I sticked to my choice to go back to that in-call place, where girls have no scarrs and obviously enjoy themselves. A girl eager to please for avoiding to be beaten, vs. a girl eager to please because she enjoys sex and is treated like a Lady is not the same indeed...;o)

Thus, thank to your input in the WSG and my preparation, I had a thoroughly good time at Moscow. My correspondents invited me to go back in two weeks time. From Moscow Airport, before the plane, I telephoned to the in-call place, thanking them a lot, and announcing them that I shall visit them again in two weeks time... I cannot wait to be back...;o)

Like you, I think Oh La La is Moscow's strip club of choice. I think the guy who set up and runs Oh La La may have previously run Safari, but I dont think they are the same management now. If you stick to drinking beer and bring a whole bunch of 100 ruble notes, it wont cost you too much to get mighty worked up. 100 rubles bought about 5 minutes of breast sucking, snatch fingering raunch. I never tried the private dances there.

mm... NF is a good choice for dinner and to check out the girls, plus if you have dinner you don't have to pay the 650 rubles cover charge. Even though they have a dance floor, dancing is not really much of an option here.

Clubs that I've been to, especially CF, are very packed on Friday and Saturday night. You can dance, but it is very crowded compared to Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Thursday.

If I was going to Moscow for two nights... first night, I'd go to Pyramid for drinks before dinner, anytime in early evening, then walk 2 blocks to NF for dinner at 2130-2200, afterwards go to NF bar for drinks to check out the girls, then at about 2300-2330, I'd get a car and EITHER go to a tochka to check it out and then go to CF if you don't mind the crowd... OR, go from NF directly to a strip club, I'll leave the exact recommendation to those that know that scene better than I do, then later if you choose go to CF or Karma Bar to dance.

Second night, I'd have dinner at one of the restaurants listed in the Exile, if you want recommendations, I have several good Italian places that I can recommend(one is just down the street from CF). Then, I'd either go to the tochka early, if someone is a knockout, I'd pay for her and ask them to hold her and let them know you'll be back. Then, go to CF and dance, then go back for the girl. If you get lucky at CF, you'll have to make a decision!

If you are really energetic, you can always order in from one of the MT ads or the internet on Saturday and Sunday mornings!

If you want to do something different instead of Red Square and the typical tourist stuff, take the blue line metro out to Izmailovskaya Park for the huge flea market. You may decide to pickup a Russian space suit with a helmet for your trip home.

One last point, make sure that you have your hotel write out all of your possible destinations, including the hotel name and address, IN CYRILLIC for you to give to the driver. Otherwise, memorize the closest metro station to each destination, to tell your driver approximately where you want to go! In addition to your passport/visa, always carry a map with you that has the names of streets in Russian (and English for you).

I think NF is for sure a place to go. What about a complete evening here. restaurant - Bar - Disco? Or is it a better a idea to go first to a good restaurant then CF to have a drink and then NF?

What could be a typical evening?

I thought from NF it was quiet difficult to have a girl for complete night?

Let forget Cabana but what could be a good place to dance CF?

About restautant what do you suggest?

I think last question even if it is subjective what is the best strip club in town? I don't speak about price but georgous girls? Same question for discos?
