I will be in Moscow on Aug 10-12 and will take the past advice of the old timers here and see the local mongering sites. Gotta do a tochka and NF, CF ect. just to be initiated properly. Would like to meet up with some of the regulars and get some special advice so PM me if you are available.

Interesting SuperTomCat. I must qualify to others that I have just returned from my first visit t Moscow and my impressions were very positive, a great city both culturally and visually, not to mention the amazing girls. I also generally found the locals friendly although I guess I blend in reasonably well.

There are plenty of WSG locals/experts who post regulalry and I didn't have time for the Tochka experience (sorry CA) but I did use a great service which offers local students at reasonable prices. Anyone can have a good one off experience but boy did I hit the jack-pot.

    I recommend www.girls-students.ru

In brief there was perfect Englsh on offer when I rang the general number, a wide variety of choice of girls and the particular little gem I chose was exceedingly better than her lovely web-pic. In only her 3rd 'working girl encounter (I'll keep her nameless here - its the general service I'm recommending) we passionately kissed for 2 hours, she provided two amazing bj's broken up by some great & interesting conversation as well as great sex on 3 occassions. Not bad for $150!!

I preferred to use the incall service and not only was the service available within 30 minutes of my call but the hotel (Marriot) checks both before your girl comes to your room and calls after she leaves to makesure all is ok. Discreet and rather helpful.

This encounter was the icing on the cake in enjoying a great, albeit short visit, to a very interesting city.

    Racism gets uglier in Russia
By MARIA DANILOVA, Associated Press Writer

MOSCOW - Semyon Tokmakov stretches out his hand and points to a thick scar he got from assaulting a black U.S. Marine six years ago. The attack cost him 1 1/2 years in jail, but Tokmakov says he has no regrets.

"We are waging a racial holy war," said Tokmakov, 28, an informal leader among Moscow's skinheads, whose violence appears to be rising.

Over the last several years, Russia has become a strikingly hostile place for all those with African, Asian or so-called Caucasian features — the dark skin and dark hair typical for the peoples of the mountainous Caucasus region.

The U.S. Marine was badly beaten in 1998 in a Moscow market, one of several foreigners targeted in recent years. The last few months have seen an especially shocking series of brutal racial attacks, such as the stabbing of a Guinea-Bissau student in the central Russian city of Voronezh, the killing of an Afghan asylum seeker in Moscow, and the slaying of a 9-year-old Tajik girl in St. Petersburg by suspected skinheads.

Ethnic minorities in Moscow complain that beatings and insults are almost a daily occurrence.

"Racially motivated crimes are growing in number and brutality by the year," Alexander Brod, head of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights, told The Associated Press in an interview.

According to a two-year study conducted by Brod's bureau and a few other groups, there are about 50,000 skinheads in Russia, with the two biggest cities, Moscow and St. Petersburg, home to about 1,500 each. It said 20-30 people have died in such attacks annually in the past few years, and the number of such crimes is growing by 30 percent per year.

"When you kill cockroaches, you don't feel sorry for them, do you?" Tokmakov said, when asked whether he felt sorry for the slain Tajik girl.

The growing extremist sentiments are rooted in Russia's economic problems, including high unemployment in many regions, and the collapse of the Soviet Union, which sent hundreds of thousands of migrants from poorer former Soviet republics to Russia seeking jobs.

"Why have they all come here?" Tokmakov said. "They bring nothing but drugs and AIDS . Every day they harass and steal our women."

Ethnic tensions are also fueled by Russia's nearly decade-long military conflict in the mostly Muslim province of Chechnya. Since shortly before the start of the second war in 1999, Moscow and several southern Russian cities have been shaken by a series of deadly blasts and suicide bombings authorities blame on Chechen rebels, which have further intensified xenophobic sentiments.

Political parties and politicians openly played the nationalist card in the December parliamentary vote, calling for the ouster of migrant workers and promoting Russia for Russians. Two such parties enjoyed victory in the election.

Tokmakov said he and his associates had been on the ballot of one of these parties, the Homeland bloc, but their names were later crossed out. Party officials have denied that.

"When there are such economic and other hardships, there are usually two ways of dealing with it — the first is that of contemplating, the second is looking for an enemy and blaming him for your problems. Unfortunately Russia has chosen the second path," Brod said.

Rafael Arkelov, a 47-old Armenian singer who has spent all his life living in Moscow and for whom Russian is his first language, has experienced it all.

He was in a grocery store buying a chocolate bar and a bottle of champagne to visit his friends for a New Year's celebration when a man asked him for some change. After Arkelov refused to give him money, he saw the man approach two youths with shaved heads whom he identified as skinheads standing nearby and whispered something. Several minutes later, after Arkelov walked out of the store, he was jumped from behind.

"They punched me on my eyes, my face, and all of a sudden I couldn't see anymore. Then I collapsed to the ground and they started beating me with their feet," Arkelov recalled. "If it weren't for a woman across the street who screamed 'What are you doing?', if it weren't for this scream of hers, I think they would have beaten me to death."

Brod's study predicted that the number of skinheads could grow to 80,000- 100,000 within the next two years if authorities don't take measures to combat xenophobia. Interior Ministry officials have said they were closely watching 10,000 suspected members of extremist groups, but all too often racially motivated attacks are dismissed as hooliganism.

"Racism isn't unique to Russia, I know it exists in Europe and America," Arkelov said. "But unlike Russia, in those countries it is prosecuted and the state pursues specific policies to combat it."

yes, GBP 2000 a week should be fine.

Very very very few of the lineup girls speak english, and with few exceptions they smoke like chimneys. But the young new ones are sweet and can warm up a lot if you are nice to them. Giving them a few drinks helps.

And you will be better off renting an apartment in the centre than a hotel

    uncle o... thanks!

sauce/mephil... the lineups typically begin at about 1000 or so. The "or so" is very important because there are many factors that seem to affect them... day of the week, militia crackdown for some unknown reason, and other things. You are pretty safe going after midnight on a weekday, but on Friday and Saturday you may want to go as early as possible.

Keep in mind that for the next three or four weeks the sky is light for most of the night and it really doesn't get pitch black.

That said, I did see a lineup at 1 in the afternoon last week on the way back from the airport, but I have it on good sources that the afternoon girls are dogs compared to the night crew.

As has been stated many times, there are three primary areas for lineups.... Leningradsky Prospect going to and from SVO airport, Leninsky Propect that runs to the SW from the center, and on the Garden Ring road, which is a circle... which if it were a clock, most of the lineups are between 11 and 4 or between the Mayakovskaya metro and just past metro Kurskaya, which is across from CF.

They are all fairly close to metro stations, but that does not mean that you would want to take a girl and then hit the metro home! You would be a sitting duck for the militia because they are thick in the metro. As far as having a girl delivered to your apartment... I've read about this, but I have no experience and, in fact, do not have the RU language skills necessary to pull that off.

In any case, it is easy to get a car... You do not really need to speak RU to go to a tochka. However, there are several postings here that detail the exact conversation that will occur. So, all you need to know are a few numbers unless you have some specific questions and demands.

Each tochka is a work in progress and the girls change all of the time... each may have "fresh" girls available, but unless the mama knows you, you may or may not have a chance at them. The few times that I've been offered new girls, they were not particurily cute... just new.

mephil... I'm not sure how much J2,000 is, but if it is euros or dollars you are in good shape... if it is yen... you're in trouble with a capital T.

ob... I assume that you checked all three Marriotts and the Renaissance... That week there is a big convention/exposition in town and it is typical for the town to be booked.

    Hello All,

I will be in Moscow, for the third summer, from July 28 to August 4 (6 nights , 7 days). If any of you fellow mongers will be there then, send me a PM.

I' d be interested in sharing what I know, and of course, learning from those who know more - the first beer is on me, whether at Chesterfield's, NF, or Karma Bar.

Check out www.moscow-star.com for rental of a private apartment. This might be a better alternative for fun than a hotel. BTW this site is run by one of our fellow posters here.

This will be my fourth trip to Russia but my first trip on the prowl in Moscow. I have been reading the reports about the tochka lineups and figure I will try this for the first time. I will be staying in an apartment so I will have no hassle from hotel security.
I have read over many reports about this but I still have a few questions regarding the tochkas'.
Since this is summer I was curious at what time the tochka lineups begin?
I read one report of a man going to the lineup, picking out the girl, and then having her delivered to the hotel. Will this work or be wise having her delivered by the apartment?
Or is it better to use a taxi to bring the girl back from the lineup?
Maybe evade the corrupt police by using a close Metro station?
Or are there any Metro stations close to any of the lineups?
I can use basic russian words but do not have a large russian vocabulary. Is this enough to communicate with the girls once you get them to your room?
Are there any lineups that have newer, unspoiled girls?

    Hi all,

I will be in Moscow in a months time for 8 days 2 of which are work.
I have some question if I may.

What time do the lineups start ,do any of the girls speak English,if I take a girl for the night how many hours do they call a night.
Can any one tell me of any good cheap hotels? Near the Kremlin With room service(not food or drink) .or would I be better of renting an apartment. my company is allowing me £2000 a week expenses or spending money depends how you look at it, will this be adequate for my needs, also I have seen on some web sites with girls from $100 to $250 for the night are they real ?.

    Thanks,

    Mephil

simon... please don't take offense at my comments, but your question is answered on every single page of the Russian section... there are many people that provide quality reports and photos to document the location, the girls, the costs and the procedure. Please look beyond the first page... after that there are many people that will be pleased to answer your specific questions and also many that will even take you along for an evening to show you the ropes...

Every single one of the posters on WSG was a pioneer at some point and had to learn the ropes...

To Shostakovich, thanks for the good report, you write about the wonderful Moscow girls you met. Could you also write about how or where can make contact with such girls.

    Cheers,

    Simon

Been to Russia twice and Buenos Aires three times. It all depends on the girl.

Had a wonderful weekend with a 22 year old college student in St. Petersburg and some not so great times with hardened veterans in Moscow.

In BA you get a better test drive in the bar/club but even so it can be hit or miss. A lot to be said for repeat business - going back to same girl.

Russia is definitely more expensive. Especially Moscow. Not just the girls but the air flight from USA, hotel, meals etc. I only went to Russia because I was already in Europe on business and wanted to try something new.

For a newbie - definitely think Buenos Aires is easier to find girls. However I have had great fun in both Russia and Argentina.

Actually, I have already been to BsAs (about 3 times in all) and I always look at other destinations with BsAs and Rio as comparables.

I think that both Otto and CA Traveller are absolutely right - we travel to enjoy the difference in not just looks but also attitude and charm.

    Cheers.
