I have a couple of choices about visiting Nuevo Laredo this week.

MrG - send me a note to mr_vee@bellsouth.net. I'll be looking for it in the next day or two. Let me know what night(s) are best for you (it's either Wednesday or Thursday for me - with some constraints either way, depending which day). Also how to get in touch (cell phone, etc.).

koshercowboy is back. due to teknikal diffikluties, he was unable to sign on for ages. the teknikal difikulty was not a komputer, it was kosher, he forgot that on wsg is is kosherkowboy, not koshercowboy. anway, kosher will deskribe the ride from ausin to la frontera. it is about 4 hours, due to konstruktion it takes about 30-45 min through san markos and than there is usually a little traffik around san antonio. always watch yoru speed going through sa, kosher has been penetrated with a speeding tcket in past. food is plentiful on way down, but after lytle there are few stops until cotulla. bring lots of water in kase of breakdown, the ride suks and is boring, but 107.5 plays almost the whole way down, puro tejano

Plan on a minimum of 4 hours travel time for your trip from Austin to Laredo depending on time of day and traffic. It is 230 miles from the center of Austin to the Golden gates of Mexico

Guys, I'm headed to Austin, TX on business this coming week. I will have time to head south of the border one afternoon/evening - probably Thursday (9/4). Anyone interested in meeting up? Met some WSG members in TJ recently and we had a great time.
Anyway, I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. Last time I was in Austin, it seemed like I did some research and figured I could cross the border after just a couple hours' driving, stay for awhile, then head back to Austin. Let me know if that's way off base. Eventually I'll figure it out for myself if it's not a plausible deal.

Whichever! It can avoid problems to carry a bunch of $1 bills. Cherubino always packs at least 20-30 for tips, drinks, etc. because getting change from waiters, taxi drivers and the cops watchin the parking lot is a frequent hassle. That towel girl, we all know who we're talking about, charges $2 but rarely has change for a $5.

Spanish is no problem. I live in NL and my spanish sux the big un.

DOllars or pesos; your choice. They take both. However, with the exchange rate of 11-1 right now and if you are a cheap fuck, change your $$$ to pesos and when the girl tells you $50.00 then give her $500 pesos which will be less than $50.00US, therefore savign you money. However, only a "cheepyskate" would do this to the poor girls!!!!

For the most part, the ability to speak Spanish is not essential. Most of the bar girls can speak English. If the girl that you want can't speak English, you can use one of the waiters to translate for you. In the main, the waiters are quite fluent in English. If you want to use the service of the street girls, however, the ability to speak Spanish is essential. In my experience, these girls only know a few words of English. If you want to use their service, speaking Spanish is essential.

As for taking money in dollars or pesos, with the current exchange rate of $10.90 Mexican peso for each US dollar, I would exchange my money at a casa de cambio right in downtown Nuevo Laredo.

Well shit! this sux the big one cherubino!!!! I was out at BT on saturday night myself at Pimp Daddy's until about 2130. Place was dead so I left and went to work! You wouldn't have been in there wearing a flowerdy hiwayian <sic> shirt would you?

Cherubino made a quick unscheduled drive-by of BT and turned up a new jewel.

Overall, at nine o'clock Saturday BT was a rather dead scene, Papagayos seemed to have the only action going. And even at Papagayos there were slim pickings, and most of those pickings not too trim if you get the drift.

Cherubino was close to leaving with his pesos still in his pocket, but... enter Angelina de Monterrey. 20s, about 125 pounds but still slender, a pretty face and even prettier smile, a pair of enhanced D cups, and long legs that went all the way to the floor. Dress that body in a silky red designer knock-off and she was easily the most stunning thing on the floor. Add to this package a personality and good attitude and you really have a keeper. Cherubino usually prefers smaller tits, on the theory that anything more than a mouthful is wasted, yet Angelina's melons looked great without support in that red dress.
