That Puta that tried to pick your pocket was a dude, (TS/TV) a lot of those there and a they are very brave.
By the "shoe" I am assuming you mean the Horseshoe or Herradura Bar, and the bar that you go downstairs into is the Montera.
Don't send any money to that girl or her family, they think they have a sucker and if you send money the requests will continue.

Hi Guys,
I just drove back to the east coast from Laredo, next time I am going to fly. I had 2 weeks off and I also saw a buddy in Dallas for 2 days, it's definitely a different type of hot than I am used to.
Now to the business, I had fun at BT for the first few days. My translator Ramon (at BT) kept things on the straight and narrow -- moreless the sisi's away. I did have 1 bad experience with a woman walking around, she hugged me and then I felt this hand reach into my pocket. You guys might know of her, the nights I was their she wore a red shirt tied up to show her belly (Puta). The door girls were good so I did have a few of them, the only problems I had was to concentrate when I am looking around that dingy room and also some of the girls had the C-scar (turnoff), but I guess I can't complain when it is only 20-30 bucks.
Then I decide to try the downtown bars (The shoe, El Rey & the 1 that goes downstairs. I mainly stayed at the shoe, I know that you pay a little more for these girls than at BT, but I have a better time. I met Alesandra the 1st day and stayed with her for a few days, I met her familia both days and hung out. I saw her house, but just at night outside in the front yard where her family seemed to congregate because of no air condition. Let me ask you this guys, I know that they are working in bars to make money for their family, but has anybody else felt compelled to help out the ladies situation. There were 10 people in looked what to be about a 2 bedroom house, I know that a few of them were sleeping in the family room. Now she has called me since I have been home, she was upset because her daughter was at the hospital today and that it would cost $300 american dollars. I also went to the carnival that is going on now and paid for Ales, daughter, 3 cousins, 1 friend and 1 friend with a kid. Is this common to have that many people go and take advantage of the mula from the americano?
I did have fun with a few other ladies at the shoe the night before I left. I actually like different experiences so I picked up the pregnant lady their and had a little fun. I also tried to post a few pics and have the response of post request from foreign hosts are not allowed.
I'll try to get them posted sometime, I can't wait to go back!

Posts: 5Heading down Friday 9/23
Anyone care to join me - split the gas? Heading in from Houston. Leaving on Saturday about 3:00pm. Been a year since I last came. Anyone know the current prices for hotels on the Mexican side?
Thanks

Posts: 2125Quick trip
Was in NLBT Friday (9/9) night, only briefly, bars still closing at 4am, supposed to be open normally next weekend. Very few customers, mostly locals too, in Papas, the only place I had time to visit.

I'd shave a bit off your prices;
At Papas, your $$ usually gets you about 45+ minutes (my experience anyway);
The Tamyko girls are pretty rugged, average 5.5 at best, plus aggressive and the establishment holds you to 30 minutes.
For $40 you should be seeing the door girl for close to an hour and getting a noncadaverous performance.
Of course, I haven't been around so things may have changed.

Posts: 12BT Updates
Thanks for the current updates all. Haven't been to BT since New Years and, to be honest, still a bit wary of the goings on.
In light of the economics and for sake of comparison, please comment or update on pricing:
Papas - 7 to 7.5 chica $70.00 plus room
Marabu - 7 chica, nice GFE $60.00 plus room
Tamyko - 8; great store-bought rack; wanted $90.00 but by this time I was pretty hammered and broke so busted the nut and threw about $30.00 on the bed and left; no problem she just laughed.
Door girls - $20.00 to $40.00 for the full spectrum; didn't try only shopped.
Should things stay pretty much the same, I'll be back weekend after this.

Business is still slow in the bars, Papas girls hustle more now, they have to, to make any money. Prices seem a little flexible, but not much, their economics are still 3rd world, business down raise prices (to make more money) instead of business down drop prices (to generate more business), you know one which works best, they don't seem to. Some girls still have set prices, pay or they don't go with you, others more open to negotiation.
Danash had less girls than usual too, but at least they were open.
Pullman seemed hopping at times too.
I don't visit the others.

Posts: 48Tight Security-Few Women
Passed by the compound. Everywhere where For Rent signs. Many of the girls have packed up and left. Fewest women I have ever seen.
Also, as you go into the compound, the cars are being searched. The search is more complete than when you pass through customs. I saw a group of gringos coming in a SUV, and they looked like good ol' boys, and they were getting checked by the Feds to the point where they were all taken out of the car. If you are taking your vehicle, make sure to not have ANY AMMO or a weapon. One shell of ammo will get you some Mexican jail time, No Fooling. Also, make sure you have proper documentation on the car and proper ID for yourself License / Registration / Insurance). I did notice that the Taxi drivers were not having to go through inspection, so this is likely the way to go to avoid problems.
The Fed Agent asked several questions over and over again, including why I was going into the compound. Uh, I think we all know why we are at the compound. Anyway, although I kept my composure and in general the fed was being firm but fair, I believe all the inspection was intended for was to scare people away from this area. But I do believe the inspection will make the compound safer. If you are a hot head type, you may want to avoid the compound, as the questions will likely bother you especially if you dont have proper documents or if you just don't know spanish. Take a cab!
About the women, again, I believe that the prices seem to be about the same and that the service is better as there is no rush since there isnt that much business anyway.

Posts: 2125I actually called Martha's, the donkey show place, in NLBT. They have to only number listed by any BT club.
They told me CLOSED this weekend at midnight. That could change with a sudden announcement, I suppose, but I doubt it.
