I should clarify that they also reported that the bar fines had adjusted as you reported.

They did report that the show girls are really nothing special and that most of the show girls become regular girls, so all you have to do is wait and the price for the show girl becomes 1200 instead of the 3000 peso.

The big problem they spoke of was the refusal to go bar fine. The girls would openly discuss how they had been out previously, earlier in the week, for 3000 for only a bar hop for drinks and fun. That is all they are willing to do according to these reports. They would not do a bar fine at all and the problem these guys had with that is they were told this after 3 or 4 drinks lady drinks were purchased for the girl. A big waste of time according to the report.

Got back a week ago from a week (too short) in Angeles. I have been many times, but oddly enough I had only been to about half the bars, so this time I decided to hit as many bars as I could, averaging about 10 a night. So, here are the results of my First Annual Angeles Bar Survey (note that none of the bars in the categories are in any particular order):

I was up early today and caught up on some of my postings I am also taking many photos and will be posting them later. I start receiving texts from the early morning; I am arranging to meet Cheryl to go watch a movie at Robinson’s malls, I walk down there to check what is on and what’s worth seeing. There are four screens at the mall showing two horror films, a tagalog movie and Hitch so there was really no choice on what to watch here, Hitch, the romantic comedy won the day.

We arrange to meet at 15.30 but the movie does not start until 17.05 so we have plenty of time to talk. I go around to a couple of the bars to get an idea of the prices, in one bar Treasure Island I am having a quick drink when I notice this Japanese or Korean guy sitting watching the girls on the podium with this girl wanking him off in the bar either that or she was busily wiping off the drink she must have spilt on his lap. Like I have said this before this is Angeles City and anything can happen here. I get around to a couple more bars before I head down to the Blue Nile Executive at 10pm. Its mid week the club is busy but not packed there and there are seats to relax on. I get talking to Cheryl and her sister who informs me that she’s a bit shy. Cheryl wants to meet up the following day so I say text me. The most popular record for all the girls I keep hearing is Usher’s & Alicia Key’s “My Boo” the girls go wild when this is on and sing it constantly, so naturally, I score points back in my room when the girls discover I have it on my computer. Staying at the Hotel Royal Amsterdam I usually go down for breakfast early, I always keep seeing this group of Japanese guys staying at the hotel. It is very interesting to see some of the women that guys are with because some of the older Europeans prefer the mature women, some are considerably on the rough side, whilst I see two Europeans with a couple of young looking bar girls. Nice reporting.

I have read bad reviews on other boards for the Doll House.

All agree that it is a nice new interior, but the atmosphere with the girls and the prices are the problem. The girls are hardcore and only want you to buy them drinks, which they gulp down as fast as possible. Or, in some cases, are willing to go out with you for a bar hop, but no sex. Can't believe this, but more than one person has reported this.

They are also trying to charge 3000 peso bar fines as opposed to the 1000 to 1200 that the other establishments charge.

If this club Doll House is successful then you can rule out the old inexpensive Angeles City as the rest of the bars will raise their rates once they see that the customers are willing to pay these new much higher prices.

On other boards there are calls to avoid the place so as to assure it will fail with this new business model.

Many believe that it will fail because of all the items that have been reported as I stated above. So that more and more mongers know before they arrive what is going on here I am putting out the word here as well. I have not been to the Doll House, but have vowed not to even give it a look and see when I am there. I refuse to give this club any business at all. Not even the purchase of one beer for me and definitely not a lady's drink or bar fine.

Day 7

I am trying to utilize my time as best as possible and whilst also keeping up or catching up with my posting. The weather is beautiful and so are the women I am also trying to get around a bit more. I have been looking around at the various bars and finding my feet so to speak, I am very impressed with the newest club in town Dollhouse, it’s a professional run establishment that was being built last time I was here. I went in for a couple of drink and not only are the girls pretty but its also open 24 hours – yes, it never closes. However, I did pop in there at 8am one morning and had some breakfast orange juice when I was up to see what the place was like in the morning, but there were only two customers, one of them fast asleep. I am not sure how long a club can remain open for three customers with around 20 staff and beer costing 70 Pesos, but just enjoy it while its lasts. Like some of the other places in town Blue Nile and Cambodia it also has an upstairs balcony. But I like it as it has set the standard for the others and raised the bar so to speak. The problem with many bars, for example Champagne Bar, is that is by the time you have six customers in there is no room for anyone else to relax apart from the uncomfortable bar stools.

I went into the Cheaters Lounge, which back in February was re-named the Viper lounge to me this place has gone down, it just doesn’t have the same atmosphere or feel as the previous place, they used to have some nice girls in there and the music was better, but who knows what will happen in the future. I spot a couple of girls who used to work in there, now working in other clubs, good for them, I am noticing many signs outside of many clubs are recruiting a full complement of staff, from mamasans, beautiful GRO (Guest relations Officers) and attractive dancers with pleasant personalities.

Through the night I make my way back to my regular clubs and I am embarrassed that many girls remember my name but I am unable to recall theirs. After some catching up I get into the Blue Nile Executive its still kicking and has many nice touches in there, one of my favourites is when the girls get up and dance on the table and the choreographed dance group that comes on every half hour, there is always someone who forgets part of the routine. OK, its marginally more expensive than other places, but on the whole you have to pay for quality. I am sitting down when I spot this girl who I recall from my last trip here, at that time she was bar fined by some other guy on my last night in town, fortunately I am here on my second night and I tell myself – I am going to have that girl (actually my words were - I am going to fuck that girl). Take my advice avoid these guys, nothing is free here.

I came up here for a little unfinished business in the sense that I have got to know many people up here and again keep regularly in touch with them. It's scary because everywhere I go people remember me. I have said this before Angeles City is one of these places that you either love or hate. On the negative side it’s a bit rough in places some of the road wouldn’t qualify as a road in other places. I saw a question asking what you can do up here, well the answer is: drink, drink, drink, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, drink, drink, drink fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck fuck. The best thing about Angeles City is that it is cheap very cheap everything possible here (within reason).

There is not a great deal to do in the days so fortunately I am able to post and I am watching a lot of day time television and one of my favourite shows is Wowowee which comes on at 1pm on GMA, I like the dancing girls who are basically cheerleaders.

If you watch some TV here you will discover that to be a successful woman you need to have fair or whitish skin, black silky hair and beautiful white teeth, if you have that then you can also have two perfect kids and then you can make sure your husband’s shirts comes out of the wash perfectly white.

This is not the place to start looking for wife material, don’t get me wrong it is possible but it is much harder work here. If you are seeking a wife I would suggest first going go other cities. Angeles City is being improved, the roads are being fixed up and some of the establishments are making more of an effort to become much more business like or professional. Normally, I stay at the Orchid Inn, www.orchid-inn.com but when I called, shock and horror, they told me they were fully booked up – what’s going on here - this is the third hotel that has been full? So I then decided to try the newest hotel in Angeles “The Hotel Royal Amsterdam- in fact with the Orchid Inn being full they did me a favour because I would have not got to have known the Royal Amsterdam www.hotelroyalamsterdam.com It’s a great hotel and price are on par with the Orchid, although I would say that in some parts its actually cheaper for a much nicer hotel. They are currently finishing off phase two of the hotel that should be opened in April offering some long stay apartments, just opposite, from the main building.

Both hotels offer internet access but whilst there are some local chat sites that you are unable to get through to from Orchid Inn I was able to access them from The Hotel Royal Amsterdam. My only couple of gripes about the hotel are that I am not keen on the in-room safe, not one of the most user friendly types you can find and second there are not enough rooms for this place.

What you are bringing up here is, as I understand it, how things are handled in Angeles. The BF I understand, has increased to PhP1200 now (all inclusive), but with an expected tip on top.

In Manila it is PhP3000 BF in the Burgos Street-clubs, with additional PhP1500-2500 to the girl.
In both the EDSA Entertainment Complex and the new Entertainment Center the BF is PhP1000 with additional PhP1500-2500 for the lady (negotiable).

If so, that is a bit different than I am used to in Thailand. In LOS, the barfine is about 300 baht ($8) and LT is 1,000 baht ($26) or $34 total before tip. Am I understanding this correctly? I've read the forum, but I seem see some conflicting reports and I also continue to have connection problems.

For me, I prefer Angeles City over Pattaya. IMHO, the girls in the Philippines are sweeter and more passionate. The girls in Pattaya are more professional (on average). There are outliers though.
Thailand has more volume and the PI has more quality. Again this is my own opinion.

Overall the prices are about the same, when averaged with hotel, bf, food, travel, etc...

Nefarious. I guess Im not the only one trying to compare both these "hot spots" and there will problably never be an answer for which one of these two places taking the first price.

For me I prefer Angeles City. For instant the music it better inside the bars, its somehow cleaner, the girls speaks perfectly english and they dont run away when you bying a ladydrink, the alcohol is cheaper and the barfine is more or less the same at any bar(between 1000-1200peso). Also, I dont have to wait until 8 or 9pm to have action started.

There is some backdraws and these are that mostly of the girls are quiet conservative comparing to Thai-girls and you have to beg for your blowjob more or less. That would never happening in Pattaya.

One other thing is that many of the girls have boyfriends waiting them after work which means that some just leaving you in the middle of the night.
Make sure about you blowjob and tell Mama San about what time you want your girl to leave next day.

I'm no "cheap charlie" but since Im travelling 5-6months every year Angeles is a better value money-wise. Sure the standards of the hotel-rooms and the food are much better and as well cheaper in Pattaya.

For me "Roadhouse" is a good start. 2local drinks for 70peso(50bath),snacks and good music. They open 6pm. If you want action before there are some bars open daytime from 12noon and just before I left 10days ago there was a new bar "the dollhouse" just open 24hours a day!

There is soo many bars and we all have different taste so I cant tell you where to go...just go inside any and look for your own taste.

My recent trip to Pattaya, Thailand left me with empty nuts, a big smile on my face, and enough left over cash for another fun trip in April. While I loved Pattaya, I've been also taking a look at Angeles City, PI. Anyone care to offer a comparison between these two hot spots? Please PM me or just post here.
