Went there first time in Phils. Me and my wingman couldnt figure out how the program worked there. Asking questions like "what are the numbers on their bikinis for?", "...so what happens in the karaoke rooms?" Never got a straight answer. And much to my surprise, there a few Asians there actually paying the girls to sing for them privately while drinking their Johnnie Walker and Chivas!??? BTW did the midgets greet you at the door? What a surreal place... then they had ladyboys lipsyncing to Madonna...

This is a girl I barfined in November from an upscale club in Cebu. Cant remember the name but the cab driver knew where it was (maybe called Arena?). Lots of Koreans there and in Cebu in general as I think this is some kind of a cheap beach destination for them. They tried to run the old..."you cannot have her she is a very special girl" When I told then I was a very special guy they tried to tell me she was a cherry girl. I paid @ 3000 pesos for LT. Of course she was not a cherry but very inexperienced and scared. I am fairly certain she was about 18 yrs and 1 day old.

The club is a Karaoke bar with a long stage down the middle with a lot of nice booths around the outside. The girls go on stage for two songs and end up topless at the end of it.

There scam seemed to be that you had to choose a girl to sit with you for 30-60 mins for about 1000 pesos. During this time you were supposed to decide if you were interested in barfining her. The first girl I sat with was one of the most beautiful women I have seen in the PI. She gave me a song and dance about never having a white "boyfriend" and she did not want to ruin herself with someone of my size. It was pretty hard to get mad at that big of a compliment but I used it to my advantage to negotiate out of the "cherry premium" for the consolation prize shown below.

If anyone can come up with the name of this club I highly recommend it for upscale women, a lot of truly beautiful women in there.

well, i haven't posted for awhile but have finally gotten around to process some photos. i brought a bunch of equipment with me to the pi so working through some photos. lots of girls want photos taken but most don't like to have them posted. anyway, these were shot with a couple of speedlights and a canon 20d. artsy photos for those interested. i'm back in september/october and would still like to work up a group to get together, photograph some girls and talk story.

You are right its a trade of between size/price and performance/image quality

You can still get good results from a point and shoot camera, when the conditions are right.
Here are a few shots from a Canon Elph series, about the size of a pack of cigs.
But your camera is only as good as the lens!
