I met this beauty a fews years back during one of my first trips to Manila. We've stayed in contact ever since and I usually meet up with her for a night or two every time I'm in the PI. During my last visit in June, she talked me into buying her a digital camera (actually, I just gave her the cash) but I made her promise to take pics of herself and send them to me. Well, guess what? She sent them! She said a "girlfriend" of hers took the pics (yeah, right...). Anyway, I've got more but these are the best. Enjoy.

Indeed, Sony Ericsson have a new phone out labelled the K800 IIRC. It boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera which they labelled as Cybershot referring to the techonology they use on normal digicams. It also has a steady-hand feature to eliminate those blurry shots. I have seen its pictures and must admit they are pretty impressive indeed for a cam-phone!!
This also means another thing, that in little under a year or so from now they will have a 4.0 megapixel cam-phone out :)

Ern and AR - pretty good pics for phone-cams. I've had to resort to my Nokia N70 the past week or so, and the pics do not come out clearly. When the 4 meg steady phonecams come out, I'll invest in one.

I know how it feels to struggle with a phone camera... I finally broke down and bought something with the latest 2 megapixel camera. The pics can be quite good, but you have to have a steady hand. Give it a year and when 4+ megapixel with xenon flash and anti-shake becomes the norm, it will be a real bonus for mongers to get snaps of their shags.
