Starfe, I think it's pretty obvious that YOU are the serial antagonist, and after attacking me for questioning GK's foolishness, GK, V69, you, and a couple of others ran to Jackson to cry and moan that I'm the antagonist after I defended myself. Then I was put in this thread where you continue to try to antagonize, showing your true self. What's funny is I was the only one who kept asking to take the argument to PM when it got totally pointless to continue it in the SP thread (because it wasn't adding any useful info); I even tried to PM all of you my responses instead of posting them like you were. However, I was the one put into their own thread. That's fine, either Jackson didn't care to look at the whole situation and figure out who the real persons responsible for the trouble were or he didn't care who was responsible. I think if anything this thread should be about what's reasonable to pay for GDP's, that's why this situation happened in the first place. So, stop being a clown, Starfe, and stop posting useless junk and trying to antagonize more people.

Notice that I had my families crest adorn my new slippers. As you can see I have high standards in the clothes I wear. This is do do to my families wealth and power. I am not trying to show off but its important for other posters to see how the very very rich live.

By the way, my Havaianas are also made in Sao Paulo. They have a small Brazilian flag on the top. They cost R$ 14 at Lojas Americanas.

Oh really!!! i have been to Brazil and stayed at the finest hotels and dined where kings and presidents have. I have shopped the best stores and bought the finest in leather goods. I think I should know what I'm talking about. Right now as I post this I am wearing a new pair of leather pants and a leather jacket from the very upscale Hugo Boss store located in S.P.. So I am up on all the hottest trends. For the record I am usually upgraded to the best suites at the hotels I frequent & with that comes the best wines in all of Brazil.

I travel with a very fast crowd which i assume you have never done in your entire life!!! Those perks come with being goodlooking and placing cash in the right hands at the right time. Have you ever traveled by helicopter in S.P.?

All the talk about incomes in Brazil agree with what Leparticular said as does the data that one can research about the Brazilian economy, jobs, and wages. So, starfe, what's your point? LOL!! You could be making the big bucks like V69! One only can imagine how much he's making if his master is paying R2,000 for a piece of ass. The equivalent of ... well enough of that. My equivalence post was made below and you can figure for yourself from there.

A good friend and a colleague of mine is a brazilero who married a CDN and moved this far north because of it and that's where I get most of my knowledge on $$$$ issues.

Though I WILL NEVER ask him for mongering tips because he's a family man and even though I'm not I RESPECT THAT. And he's still got major ties back home as he travels there every year.

Anyways he's the one that swayed me to travel to brazil this year and is pushing me as we speak to go to a different part of the country than I'm going to and has a apartment set up for me for free!

But I will not accept it as I'm not down with that and have my mind setup on a different kind of outing.

Just clarifying that I'm not making up these numbers but are what some of his extended family members are making back home. Mainly his little sister (20+ years still living with the family) She makes R300 a month and it's quite normal for people to make that there. R300-400.

So it's basically accounts from a first hand brazilero. Not the gringos that like to talk about how it is for them or the ones they screw. This man has nothing do with with our hobbie and will never.

We always talked about such issues as destinations, poverty, incomes, prices, must sees, stay away froms, etc. in our time together in our jobs as we're both travelers and are curious about the world around us.

He started telling me about how beautiful brazil was quite a bit of time ago. He told me about his family back home and their business, etc. he then offered me an apartment to stay at that he recently purchased and that he has his family rent out for additional income which he thougth would alleviate some of the pressure off of his family. And though it's slow at times it did help out immensly.

I would've jumped on the oppurtunity but this guy is my friend and I do respect him enough not to take his offer as a respect for their hardship #1 and plus I wouldn't be all that truthful to myself if I stayed at a free place with a "family sort of feeling". I'd think twice before bringing that GDP home with me and that's not the kind of environment I like to operate in. And most important of all if I ever do stay in his new place (after the familty atmosphere) is that I'll wanna pay and he won't let me.

Though he did convince me to go to Brazil and experience it, I thank him for that.

I think V69 is rolling in GK's money. All of the things I've seen about how much most people make in Brazil agree with about 300R/month. Most people there are not top executives or even above minimum wage type jobs if they're even employed. The people can be very friendly, and there are lots of beautiful things to see despite the low incomes. Have a great time and I'm sure you'll find tons of great GDP's for fractions of what fools like GK pay.
