To the people complaining about the raise in prices? The lower and middle level places and girls are raising their prices for a reason. The living costs in Brazil are are going up every month. The average brazilian has been making less and less in the past 3 years. The number of customers have lowered.

Really don't wanna start a flame war here, but isn't there a basic difference between overpaying and high-end P4P? You know, like Ross vs. Giorgio Armani?

I mean, if Ross sells me crap stuff at Armani prices and not at their regular rates, that's a rip-off for them and overpaying for me. If Armani sells me whatever they are selling at regular rates, well, I know I am getting Armani and I know how much and why I am paying that much. That's not a ripoff, and that's not overpaying.

Now, whether Armani is actually WORTH what they are trying to charge, that's a totally different story. And there, opinions will vary widely.

I mean, look at what Genghis Khan is doing vs. other people like buying a Ferrari vs. buying a used SUV. In the end, the Ferrari also only gets him from point A to point B, hopefully (like a GDP will get you to pop, hopefully), but that's not so important to him rather than how. Some people like him are willing to shell out the big bucks for the HOW (like some people are willing to shell out big bucks for big fashion or myriad other luxury items), and others just don't care too much. Also, everyone has different budgets and different preferences, too.

Now, if someone pays 300 bucks for a Help GDP that normally charges barely R$ 200, that's overpaying which might, just might affect other mongers in a similar situation. Whether GK pays 3000, 5000, 10000 Reais to an escort in Sao Paulo for TLN hardly affects anyone because, I assume, 99.99% of mongers are not in this price range or income bracket. And I suppose others that have that much change to throw around really don't care, because they are so fucking rich that they couldn't care less, anyway. Plus, they are not spending my money. So?

I think at the high end of P4P, prices always get very fluffy, like at the high end of everything (fashion, jewelry, restaurants, cars, boats, homes, you name it). Do I care whether some movie star buys a multimillion dollar home at 8 or 9 million bucks? Do I care whether Dieter Mateschitz buys yet another F1 team? No. It's so far beyond my means, I couldn't care less. Do I think they are crazy? Maybe. But I don't think it affects me. And as long as it doesn't impact me, why should I get upset about it? But I might still wanna read about it... just like a lot of people wanna read about the fancy weddings of the rich and famous, even if they could never afford them themselves.

First of all the reason I don't put the real names in my report is because I am not reporting about a normal GDP. These girls are semi-pros and have a business on the side which have made them celebrities/semi-celebrities in Brazil. I have been asked not to give out their real names on a public forum. I know you can understand that unless you have no respect of other peoples whishes at all. Secondly I have given out both pictures and names of these girls to members sending me a PM who have also seemed really genuinly interested in setting something up with these girls.

I don't understand why you would bother if the names are left out since you have made it quite clear that you have no intention what so ever of paying what these girls want. It could be of no interest to you anyway.

Another reason is that the prices for these girls are not the same every time. The madame adjusts her price by the amount of business you bring her and the girls adjust their price after how much publicity they have gotten lately or how much they want the business. These girls don't really need the business. They do it to earn some extra cash. They have made themselves up an opinion about how much they think their ass is worth and are not willing to go below that price. It is different from a normal GDP who need the business to survive. Since we are talking about quite high prices here, it could backfire on both the madame and the girls if I reported on the prices.

Regarding Vatel69, I have already written that I am paying him for his services. What he does is similar services as for instance Sampa Guide or Biggie Smalls and others do. They negotiate, translate and set up dates with the girls, book hotels and make reservations at restaurants. You can look at him as my tour guide. The reason why the details about him is in my report, is for others who consider using him to get a picture of how a trip arranged by him could be. Vatel69 knows a lot of the madames and freelance girls and will manage to negotiate a much better price than any foreigner would because he is Brazilian and because he generates a lot of business to these individuals. So even though I pay him - I still come out on top financially compared to handeling this on my own.

I have been in Brazil only seven times - about eight to ten weeks total spread over four years. I don't have time to study the language when I am not there. I don't think I am stupid from not having learned the language during that time.

I think everybody should feel free to pay whatever they want, it's their money. In my case the most I ever payed (outside a terma) is R$ 150 and the least I payed was half a bottle of Ketchup and 4 eggs. When I stay for several months in Brazil the availibility of women is wide. That's why I don't value a GP to much. If I only stayed for 1-2 weeks I would propably be happy to pay much more.

I asked earlier about the prices that GK is paying. Really it doesn't matter. His reports will not help my mongering at all, but I still enjoy them very much. For me it's like reading nice fairytales. Keep up the work, GK.

Unfortunately, because I spoke out against a member that too many people on this board ass kiss (GK), I'm now put in this thread by Jackson (a hypocrite if you ask me). After I called GK out on his absurd spending, I got attacked by fools like Starfe and Funkingnitor (or however it's spelled) and when I defend myself, I'm the terrible antagonist not them.

I haven't read any of those threads or come in contact with any of the people you're alluding to but if all you did was speak about gross overpayments then I too would tend to agree with you also.

Although I believe that we could conduct ourselves a bit better and not resort to all the name calling. That way you won't rub people the wrong way and your message will be heard clearer. Again I didn't read those don't know why you're so angry with them. Just a piece of advice.
