I have posted in detail on Short term Hotels in the past, possibly in the Bangkok Hotels Thread. I will let you do the search for past posts. Most ST Hotels are charging by the hour, and could be 350 Baht for one hour. You might find one that will do a deal for 4 hours, if on a not busy night, that will come to somewhat less than 1400 Baht (which is more than $30).

There are also Hotels where you can book the whole night for 1000 Baht or just under that amount, that are better than ST Hotels. In a regular Hotel you will need your passport. If girl is not old enough that could be a problem in a regular Hotel.

Finding a Hotel for 4 hours for $20 is probably possible but far from the normal thing most guys will know about. Just book the whole night. It's much easier.

You might just have to ring a few well known ST Hotels like the PB Sukumvit Soi 3, to see if they have a special deal for 4 hours, and also what is the price for all night.

I sometimes use ST Asoke Place on non peak days, in order to get much more than 1 hour for my 350 Baht (but that is not going to extend to 4 hours). Staff probably like me since I tip well.
