Probably should mention that Bucaramanga is a very conservative and serious town that was relatively untouched by the drug wars and at the other end of the spectrum than a town like Medellin.

The reason there are fewer Venezuelans in Bucaramanga is that it is a working town in the middle of farm country.

That and you need to be fairly fluent in Spanish.

You make it sound like Bucaramanga is somewhere in the US Midwest. Bucaramanga is 100% Colombia, and the similarities with Medellin are more than the differences. I don't know what spectrum you mean, but the important one is the spectrum across the social strata which exists in every Colombian city. There are plenty of conservative serious working people in both places. And Antioquia is as much about farming as Santander.

You are right about the history of violence. A large part of the population of Medellin are displaced families who were chased off their land and out of their houses in the country by paramilitaries. And that's why you have Raudal and Veracruz in Medellin and not in Bucaramanga. But as I have shown, there are plenty of P4 P places in Bucaramanga, as one would expect of a city that size in Colombia.

And being fairly fluent in Spanish is a requirement everywhere in Colombia outside tourist ghettoes like Parque Lleras. Just like being fairly fluent in English is a requirement for travelling to the US, as everybody knows.

The better part of town is on the eastern side, around Carrera 33. To get around there are metered taxis and plenty of uber which are just slightly cheaper, and even cheap motorcycle-taxis. With the size of the city and the climate you can walk to a lot of places.

Despite the proximity to Cucuta and the Venezuelan border there don't seem to be more Venezuelans here than in every other city in Colombia. Or maybe more beggars but not more girls working.

I personally went to every address listed here (unless noted otherwise) and confirm that the places are open for business.

The better hotels are around Calle 34, Zona Rosa. In Colombia the rule is: the more expensive a hotel, the less girl-friendly it is. Of course, in any hotel you can pay for two people and register yourself and one girl, but then if you want a different visitor you may get charged, one four-star hotel quoted me 60 k. I was comfortable at Hotel Prado 34 West, Calle 34 #32-80, on booking.com 79 k for one person. They said it's 20 k extra for a second person but they never bothered to register my sugarbabe when she came to visit daytime, so I guess that means it's girl-friendly.

I found an agency called Somo para ti and contacted then go their website, somosparati.com and they had about 15 girls and all the prices.
