I apologize to any and all bros for my part in contributing to the flame war and I admit that I was childish in responding to the posts.

I also unreservedly and sincerely apologize to Surfdude for whatever comments, incidents, etc that I have made about and to him in my posts which were all uncalled for. I regretted my posts. Doesn't matter what he thinks of me, I take back whatever I have posted and if I were to see him in Hatyai, I will make the move to apologize to him in person.

I hope fellow bros here pardon me for any unruly and uncalled for posts, behaviour, etc. I'll not post in this thread anymore but will continue to contribute in the main Hatyai thread so this is my last post here.

Arguments are unavoidable in forums...but i really appreciate brudder surfdude and other forumers will leave families members out of this..
Or perhaps a face to face talk is better and much more appropiate to clear up any misunderstandings. And also outsiders and unrelated forumers should try and cool things down and not adding more flammatives into the fire..

If TV is working on commission, something that seems likely but is not proven, then this is issue is now out in the open and very clear. People wanting to avail themselves of his services can make a simple decision.

Unless you know have known TV, or anyone else for that matter for a reasonable period of time, then it is naive to think that they are going to be providing time and transport etc totally free of charge, as has been said before, nothing comes for free.

Lets put this issue behind us, stop squabbling like dogs over a bone and get back to what we all enjoy doing, mongering!

I think the discussion is somehow in a dead end, and I cannot discover any new arguments.

To get personal, discuss braincell quantities and IQs does not help so much, and it is quite ugly to read for non-insiders like me. But far more important: this way of discussing the issues does not strengthen the arguments, it only shows that obviously some arguments are so weak that personal attacks are necessary to cover that up - AND THIS NEVER WORKS.

I would recommend TV to directly contact Jackson asking him for an own thread, in which he describes and discusses his tourist guide service in Hat Yai. Everybody is welcome to join him there, and everybody knows the conditions of his business.

I did the same thing for my marketing activities for Livingstone's Lodge in Bangkok, and I also charge room rates to my guests - of course, we are running businesses here. Jackson is open for those businesses, if they are close to the purpose of his forum, and I don't see any reason, why TVs business is not worth an own thread in the Thailand forum.

I would really enjoy an official post from TV in which he explains how he earns money with his activities in the south, and what services he delivers. With this kind of honesty everybody is free to decide whether he wants to use TVs services or not.

And all others, who criticise him: Do it with arguments and not with personal attacks.
