The demonstrably Repub / winger-leaning RealClearPolitics poll of polls on the Generic Ballot question now shows Repubs' "advantage" over Dems dropping to a mere 1. 3 percentage point (s):
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...vote-7361.html
Quick, RCP! Jam a few more Repub / winger Rasmussen and Trafalgar polls in there to save the day!
Meanwhile, the more reputable and reliable FiveThirtyEight Polling Service site has Repubs' adavantage falling to 0. 2 percentage point (s):
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...eneric-ballot/
If this trend continues as the electorate finds the relief and luxury of looking away from Trump's Pandemic Global Supply-Chain Destruction Inflation, to instead take a closer look at the personal freedoms and rights Repubs are busy overturning, their non position on gun safety, their flip-flop on voting in favor of competing with China regarding the chip industry, creating USA jobs, reducing inflation and our reliance on supplies from our enemies, those two historic climate change, inflation reduction, voting rights protection, life-improving pieces of legislation on board right now for a 50+1 vote in the Senate and passage in the House while "Repubs in Disarray!" sat there with their thumbs up each others' butt utterly incapable and unwilling to produce anything close to them for the benefit of the vast majority of Americans ever.
So I'm guessing there is room for some upside for the Dems on this question.
Not to mention the way Dems are showing how much Repubs hate our military veterans.

I read this every few days and see the same thing all the time. Ultra left and crazy right. I used to think that ET was just an over the top Dem lover (and no I am not right wing and can't stand Trump) but first calling Bill Maher a Republican lover and now this CNN pro Republic nonsense has me wondering if he is truly addled.

And Dems have a hard time defining a woman as well;.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42ivIRd9N8E
And right winger is now anyone who disagrees with the progressive wing of the Democratic party, even those who consider themselves liberal.
But just so you do not think the dumb Dems can play with all words. They have stayed consistent with those who vote Republican. Those who vote that way are evil, stupid, racist, amoral assholes.
And what do you call $1000 an hour for this woman?

Well, it certainly is not inflation is it?

They knew. Better than anyone.
They knew that, had they been Dems, Mainstream Media would blame them for the crap results the outgoing Repubs left behind and dumped in their lap, demand to know when they are going to clean up this colossal mess quickly and easily, harp on and criticize their every effort, downplay and fill with doubt every historically successful accomplishnent, never give them clear and unqualified credit dwell obsessively on the slightest imperfection.
But as Repubs? LOL. They could ride ponies, play golf, coast on the positive trajectories they always inherit from the outgoing Dem, fail all over the place, produce skyrocketing unemployment rates, wipe out millions of jobs, preside over deep Bear Market declines, pass almost nothing of any real value to America while ballooning the deficit in exchange for all their nothingness and gross under performance vs virtually any Dem and, my oh my, Mainstream Media will still be right there at election time to remind its viewers and readers what grinning "winners" the Repubs are compared to Dems and, oh, bear in mind most people think Repubs are better at handling the economy than Dems. LOL.
That has been going on and well understood by any media watcher for decades.
It is astonishing that you, Paulie and a few others miss something so obvious and played out over and over again.
Lazy, Do Nothing ambitious wannabe pols certainly haven't missed it. That's why they partner up with the Republican Party and not the Democratic Party.

That is the most fucking pathetic excuse I have heard. That ranks up there with Republicans cheering on deaths by Putin killing people in Ukraine and letting people die by not locking down with Covid.
We do not have to cheer on high gasoline prices; we just wait to see them go up because of your douche policies.
"We are Democrats. We care about people. We care about the planet. I think global warming is the biggest threat to mankind there is. If you do not believe that, you do not care about mankind. ".
Here someone put together a study of Spain and there were 6 X more death from freezing than overheating.
https://mishtalk.com/economics/lets-...e-be-concerned
And you dumb Dems want "clean" solar power.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/michael...h=12c2e1a55fe5
Three years ago I published a column at Forbes arguing that solar panels weren't clean but in fact produced 300 times more toxic waste than high-level nuclear waste. But in contrast to nuclear waste, which is safely stored and never hurts anyone, solar panel waste risks exposing poor trash-pickers in sub-Saharan Africa.
And you want Covid lockdowns to save lives.
And here we go with lockdowns: https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-immunity-debt.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-immunity-debt
Nine people across the country have died after becoming infected with RSV this winter. Including six in Auckland's central suburbs.
ESR public health physician Dr Sarah Jefferies said the prevalence of RSV was likely the result of lower population immunity because of New Zealand's Covid-19 isolation last year and the increase in movement since then.
"This positive collateral effect in the short term is welcome, as it prevents additional overload of the healthcare system But in the long term, it can create problems of its own: if bacterial and viral infections aren't circulating among children, they don't develop immunity, which leads to larger outbreaks down the line. ".
So if you are a Dem, you do not accept high gasoline prices are due to your boneheaded policies but deflect that Republicans who have to pay for gasoline too love high gas prices. You are for war in Ukraine and all the deaths there. You are for turning Africa into a toxic trash heap. You are for people freezing to death, and you are for preventing people from developing natural immunity and allowing people including children to die.
The slogan of the Democrat should be: we kill way more people than Republicans but we pretend to care more.
Even the Dems pets ambassador to Ukraine admitted that if Trump were president Putin would not have invaded Ukraine, and the chances of the horrific Afghanistan withdrawal likely would have been far less. And even with all those deaths PVM, you still would have voted Biden right?
And your response to your votes that literally has caused thousands and thousands of deaths is Republicans are happy with those deaths? Seriously? WTF is wrong with you people? Mean tweets are so much worse than thousands of deaths?

Posts: 657Biden: 'I Don't Know If We're In A Recession, I'm Not A Biologist'
Washington, DC — America's GDP has fallen over the last two quarters, stoking fears of a possible recession due to the fact that America is now in a recession. When asked whether the USA Is now in a recession, Biden answered that he wasn't qualified to answer, as he doesn't have a biology degree.
"I don't know if we're in a recession, I'm not a biologist," said Biden to the bronze bust of Hugo Chávez in his office. "Leave that stuff to the experts, Jack! If you ask me, the economy should lose some weight, anyway. Too fat. We deserve this for being racist anyway. Come on, man!
The White House quickly clarified Biden's statement, saying the USA Is not in a terrible recession because the word "recession" has been redefined, as has the word "terrible. ".
"It should be noted that the word 'recession' is being used by extreme far-alt-right-right extreme extremists," said gay black Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to reporters. "At best, the word 'recession' is a racist dog whistle. At worst, it's a cruel slur against a historically marginalized economy. We condemn anyone who would use this racist language. ".
At publishing time, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson couldn't confirm whether America is in a recession either, as she is also not a biologist. . . .

Have you ever been to London? Thats a great example of how you can make rail line network succeed throughout an entire city and nearby suburbs (Home Counties). But generally, yes, high speed rail works best between city hubs, the bus networks take arrivals to locations within each hub (cheaper bcos they don't require heavy investment in rail infrastructure). But trams used to be effective too.
But yeah, it is an attitude. And an attitude that was born during low fuel costs.

And for the mid tems; all it takes is for 1-2 Dems to resist or delay voting for a Biden / Dem Leadership legislation proposal and CNN will be right there with the rest of them on "Democrats in disarray".
CNN had no use for Obama after his historic election, while he was successfully recovering us from the Great Repub Recession. They barely cover Biden's accomplishments. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they uttered some variation the words "Biden's poll ratings are tanking" many times more than, "Biden passed a historic bipartisan Infrastructure bill."
And if they did mention it recently it was probably in the context of it contributing to Inflation, which it didn't.
You're a Bothsider. You probably didn't even notice how many decades Mainstream Media have characterized every Repub win as a Repub win and every Dem win as a Repub win and every draw between the two as a Repub win.
According to Mainstream Media, Dems rarely win while Repubs rarely lose. Because they know the electorate will more likely vote for "preceived" winners rather than actual successful legislators.
You thought they were just being Fair and Balanced or bending over backwards to show how not in the tank they are for Liberal Democrats or some nonsense like that, right?

Let's face it. The American mentality is just not "set up" for public transportation. Americans want their "freedoms" regardless of whether or not they are really "freedumbs". Americans would rather have a "pay as you go" healthcare system with worse outcomes even if the overall cost of a single-payer system is the same. Who is against it? Yep, you guessed it. The same political party who wanted to kill the ACA when the only plan they had to replace it was the GSAD (Get Sick And Die) plan. What did Donnie the Dumbass say? "Who knew that healthcare would be so hard?
