I spent three hours listening to RFK Jr on Joe Rogan's podcast, and he was incredibly intelligent and articulate and checked himself when talking about something he did not know.

For instance, when talking about the rise of autism, Joe Rogan asked him if it was not vaccines, what else could it be? RFK Jr. Mentioned a study on wi fi radiation and the blood brain barrier but stopped himself and said he did not know enough about it. Rogan looked it up and quoted from the study.

So, of course, politifact does a hit job and says the predictable, "RFK says wi fi causes autism. ".

And that is how you give a candidate the Ron Paul / Bernie Sanders treatment. What RFK Jr. Said about vaccines was hugely educational to me, and when one of these pro-Covid vaccine hacks condemned RFK Jr, Rogan offered up $100,000 for him to come on his show and debate RFK Jr. After that, others ponied up money and the final sum was $1. 5 million to a Covid vaccine hack to come on Rogan's show and debate RFK, and he chickened out.

Bails were negotiated and agreed to before hand by prosecutor and lawyers for defendants, and confirmed by judge. Normally, it is set during arraignment for normal folks.

What I don't understand is how is it they're booked and immediately released? Isn't a judge supposed to decide on bail during arraignment (after spending some quality time in jail)?

Bails were negotiated and agreed to before hand by prosecutor and lawyers for defendants, and confirmed by judge. "Normal" arraignment usually involve people who are not represented before hand. These people got a head start with indictment giving them 10 days to surrender. Not a travesty, efficient.

Now, blocking all the street for a defendant to show up in a motorcade is very unusual. But we've never had a former president indicted either.
