Nursing home empty beds looked good initially, but we now know that was a colossal misstep.
I doubt Whitmer thought ahead all the way to the conclusion of depopulating her political opposition.
But this is good to know for the future planning when the final nails to the GOP party's coffin is ready after just a few more years of TrumpShit.

The rightwingnuts here keep trying to convince us that the COVID vaccines don't work because some fully vaccinated individuals get COVID. Or that the COVID vaccine is worse than other vaccines which provide lifelong protection from disease.
My "medical credentials" are the same as 99.9% of the people reading this. None. However, I do know how to research.
So let's dispel the second myth first: that other vaccines provide lifelong immunity. A quick look at the chart in the attached article ought to quickly dispel that fantasy: https://www.immune.org.nz/vaccines/e...-effectiveness A quote from this article will take us to our second lie, that the vaccines don't work because they don't provide 100% protection: "No vaccine is 100% effective".
That's right, boys and girls! No vaccine is 100% effective. ".
But wait, you say. The media always talk about "efficacy" not "effectiveness". This might confuse others, too. Because there's a difference between the two. Efficacy is a "clinical trial" word and effectiveness refers to the "real world". This quote says it better than I can: "Volunteers taking part in vaccine clinical trials often undergo close monitoring. The trial team is usually aware of the participants' general health and any relevant health conditions. Participants usually report any side effects and may fill out daily symptom monitoring diaries. Many clinical trials have exclusion criteria such as pregnancy, particular health conditions, and age. Trials involving experimental vaccines rarely include children or seniors until scientists have collected a significant amount of safety data to protect these groups from potential harm. Vaccine efficacy only provides information about how well a vaccine works under the conditions of the clinical trial. Scientists usually base it on factors that they can quantify, such as numbers of laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19. But the ideal conditions of a clinical trial do not necessarily reflect what is happening in the real world outside of clinical trials. Vaccine effectiveness tells us how well a vaccine works under real-world conditions once people outside of clinical trials receive the vaccine. Many factors can influence how a vaccine performs outside of clinical trials. One of these is the health of those receiving the vaccine. Underlying health conditions can affect vaccine effectiveness. Another factor is how the disease-causing pathogen changes with time. The viruses that cause the flu are prone to mutations that make vaccines less effective. Vaccine developers update the flu shot every year to try to achieve a good match to the most prevailing seasonal flu strains. " The quote above is from https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/art...ccine-efficacy#Efficacy-versus-effectiveness.
So if the COVID vaccine isn't 100% effective, then it is worse than other vaccines because those other vaccines are 100% effective, right? Wrong! Look at the chart here: http://www.bccdc.ca/resource-gallery...nogenicity.pdf Virtually none of these common vaccines are 100% effective..
But what about the delta variant? Imagine you're a student and you're about to take a final exam in Civil War History. Your teacher has said the exam questions will be on "battles". You spend your time focusing your studies on Gettysburg, Antietam, Atlanta etc. Imagine your surprise when the exam asks questions about Perryville, Malvern Hill and Honey Springs. How well would you do? Would you get a see? A the? Or would you flunk? The same with the COVID vaccines. They were developed to be effective for the original strain of COVID, They are less effective against the delta strain. But they still get a be. Better than you, huh?
So, the only people who expected the vaccine to be 100% effective 100% of the time were the rightwingnuts. In other words, the same ones who believe that ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are COVID cures.

The number of people who died *of* (not with) covid, with no comorbidity, is a tiny fraction of that.
On the other side, the number of covid cases is far higher than the 42.5 m confirmed cases. About half of people who contract it don't even have symptoms. Others will have symptoms similar to flu, just stay at home and self-medicate and then recover in a few days. Neither of these groups are in confirmed cases because nobody knows they had it. Total actual cases will be north of a million.
It is more like 100,000 out of 100,000,000, or a 99.9% survival rate.

Of course this was not how the "vaccine" was sold. It was sold like other vaccines. Measles, mumps, rubella, Hep be, etc. In that once you've got it you are totally immune.
Instead, we now find out that it doesn't work, and there have been over 500,000 adverse effects reported on the VAERS system (a small fraction of the actual number).
Yet again, Fauci lied. He funded the virus. He lied and twisted with the political wind about it. And then he lied about the effectiveness of the gene therapy "vaccine". Why isn't he (along with Whitmer, Cuomo, Bill and Hillary, Podesta and many others) in jail?

Hardly a "year long lie that it would go away without a vaccine", is it? You really need to put a little more nuance into your lies: I doubt even Pelosi would put out such an unqualified whopper. Then again.

As the old saying goes, lock her up.
As for cleaning up in November, in a serious and secure election I have no doubt the republicans would clean up next year (as they would have last year).
Unfortunately, in today's clown world of millions of "mail-in" ballots spammed out to whoever, wherever and "collected" en masse by democrat operatives; democrat-controlled cities ejecting GOP observers from the count, pausing it when things aren't going their way and suddenly "discovering" a pallot of just the hundreds of thousands of 98% democrat votes they need to win; and millions of democrat-voting illegals pouring over the border and being sent by Biden's handlers to swing states where they are sure to pick up a ballot or ten: one can never be too sure.

Even the the partisan audit in Arizona has failed to find any evidence of fraud. In fact Biden increased his lead. How is Trump going to get feeble minded republicans to give him money now? What is the next grift from the worlds biggest grifter? The time and money wasted so some lowlife failed entrepreneur can sooth his bruised ego!

And I know the anti-vax Trumpsters who fell for Trump's year long lies about how "It's a Democrat Party HOAX! We've got this under control. It will go away WITHOUT a vaccine!", discouraging anyone from bothering to invent a vaccine or take one even if a manufacturer is "foolish" enough to bother inventing one, won't even think of turning to tax-payer funded government subsidies and bailouts in Obamacare to save their ass and their house, right?
Because, you know, "Freedumb!"

It is amazing how quickly things will change. Newsom gets a recall movement because of Covid, and now you have Whitmer of Michigan agreeing to this: Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the state legislature have agreed on a budget proposal that includes language banning health officials from enforcing mask mandates in schools and preventing state public agencies from enforcing vaccines on employees or customers.
https://www.foxnews.com/us/whitmer-m...cine-passports
Biden's popularity on Covid is already down 10%, and the polling in Iowa showing disapproval for Biden is scaring the snot out of Democrats.
The one thing you can be sure of with these dictatorial Democratic is that like with Whitmer the one thing that will convince these to run from the "science" is negative polling. When the pols like Whitmer start advocating for personal choice over mandates on the vaccines, you can be assured these douches will say, "I never was in favor of mandates."
In the mean time, if Republicans can make this FDA blow dart loving bureaucrat as the face of the Democratic party, they will clean up in November: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI2D8GLPYr4.
