Joe Biden will land a major union endorsement Wednesday from North Americas Building Trades Unions, whose leaders say the president has his infrastructure bill largely to thank for it.

In making one of their earliest ever presidential endorsements, NABTU leaders are kickstarting an eight-figure organizing program to try to deliver their 250,000 members in the battlegrounds of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin for Biden.

The Teamsters, whose endorsement is being pursued by both Biden and Donald Trump, are members of NABTU but abstained from Tuesdays board vote, according to people briefed on the proceedings. They will endorse after their own upcoming convention.

The backing from NABTU, which has 3 million members nationwide, is more enthusiastic than its 2020 backing of Biden. And it comes at a moment when a significant slice of union rank-and-file has split from traditionally Democratic-aligned union leadership in ways that are reverberating through elections. Thats raised questions about the political future of the next generation of union members.

"Its almost like the perfect leader was sent at the perfect time for working people", NABTU President Sean McGarvey told CNN about Biden in an interview announcing the endorsement.

Biden will appear at the unions conference in Washington on Wednesday to officially get the nod which union leaders also want to be seen as a stark rebuff of Trump, who eagerly solicited support from union members and leaders during his time in office, but, their leaders say, didnt deliver. NABTU had called for Trump to resign after the January 6, 2021, insurrection.

In praising Bidens efforts for working people, McGarvey cited the investments and union protections built into the infrastructure act, the Covid-era American Rescue Plan, the CHIPs Act to increase technological production nationwide and the Inflation Reduction Act. He acknowledged that, for the moment, Bidens support is stronger among his unions leadership than it is among many of his members, whom he said were close to evenly split in 2020 between Biden and Trump, and generally remain so.

The only way to get him is to beat him, and they don't seem to be able to do that either. And I'm quite disgusted by it, to be quite honest with you.

On the one hand you wingers and SAS, are crowing about he shouldn't be on trial, because its a bogus case. But yet can't help yourselves, crowing about how this will ONLY help Trump's numbers. So isn't that a win for you wingers?

It would be unprecedented, much like the Jan 6th Capitol insurrection mob/riot attack, but Trump could still govern from jail, since it's not like he spent a great deal time doing actual real work in the White House, during his 1st term, anyways. (...kkkk!)

Just be glad, that if LE and the US criminal justice system, really wanted to "make America great again" and take Trump back to the good ole days, so he could truly immerse himself in the "American Black Experience" (ABE), shall we say back to 1864, like Repubs across the country and in Arizona's have done, with some of the most arcane and backwards-ass abortion laws from 1800's, what would that look like?

So given his orchestrated Jan 6th coup/insurrection and 91 (??) felony charges, would that mean, in 1864, for Trump to be immersed in the "American Black Experience", he...:

• Would be on trial for a hanging, by now, given the black experience of 1864?
  - Or worse, would, he have been given the chance, to even make it to trial?
  - Or would it simply have been trial by hanging?
  - Or would he even have been given "a fair trial" at all (assuming he makes it to trial in 1864), if you're immersed in the "black experience" of 1864?

So I doubt very much, anyone of reasonable logic, a mountain of evidence, and pages and pages of documents and witnesses of Trump criminal transgressions, thinks for a second, that what a quasi white, orange quasi billionaire, ex-TV star, ex-President like Trump, is currently going through, is anything like being immersed in "the black experience", when black and brown people are deal with the LE and US criminal justice system, in real life.

He was not cornered in a dingy New York stairwell, sodomized with a cops nightstick or killed in a hail of bullets. While Trump has experienced the polite and courteous harassment of the FBI, I think he skipped past the disproportionately heavy-handed police brutality, police beating and a healthy amount of racist threats and barbs, that are afforded to blacks (and people of color) while in custody.

The constant harassment, driving while black (particularly in a nice car), or blatant over-ticketing of police officers (especially in the south) on people of color, to fund their police department funding shortfall. Or the middle of the night no-knock-warrants, shoot-first ask question later, deaths/murders. Or the disproportionate denial or commensurate bail, proportional to one's means of income or social standing.

BTW, this should including jail time, in a very nasty prison, should he be found guilty, if he's to truly immerse himself in the "black experience".

So yes...lets not skip the "good stuff", that is so very much, an integral part, to the actual lived "black experience" and somehow think for a moment, SAS, is truly equating Trump's current predicament, to the REAL lived "black experience" w/r to treatment by LE and the US criminal justice system.
