The Proud Boys Return to Neverland

So, the Proud Boys now judge Donald Trump "a total failure" and "extraordinarily weak. " The members of the far-right group understood at last that when the former president denounced them for doing what he incited them to do, they looked ridiculous.

How to save face? They couldn't concede that posting pictures of themselves engaged in a murderous assault on the USA Capitol was supremely stupid. No, it was that Trump was too cowardly to join them. But thinking that he would was also supremely stupid.

After winding the mob up with insane ranting about a "stolen election," Trump urged it to March to the Capitol to stop the counting of votes. "You'll never take back our country with weakness," he said. "And I'll be there with you. "

Of course, he wasn't there with them. It was some strange Neverland these Lost Boys came from. How else explain their expecting Trump to expose himself to the swarm, much less risk injury in a violent encounter?

While the boys were vandalizing, looting and threatening to hang elected officials, according to The Washington Post, Trump serenely watched the rampage on White House TVs. At a certain point, though, it dawned on the president that the unfolding horror was not in his interests. He conferred with advisers and lawyers to ensure he wouldn't take the rap for it. Thus, at 2:38 pm Eastern time, after a Capitol Police officer had already been killed, he tweeted, "Stay peaceful!" he then issued a video in which he told the herd to go home.

A day later, he condemned the blockheads for their "heinous attack" and said he was "outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem. " And to think that some of the Proud Boys actually expected a presidential pardon for their crimes.

The main objective here is not to point out the treachery of Trump. It's not even to question the right wing's willingness to believe that Trump hadn't lost. With all those conspiracy theories infesting their media and weeks of getting pounded by a charismatic speaker's liesone could envision their swallowing the nonsense that dark forces had denied victory to he whom they called "Emperor Trump."

The Proud Boys' grasp on reality was never all it could be, but still. The group had it together enough to closely follow Trump's 86 unsuccessful legal challenges to the election results. It should have been easier to note Trump's long history of covering his rear end and employing an army of lawyers to countersue those he had betrayed. But somehow, the Lost Boys thought they'd be an exception.

And so, they portrayed the double-cross as an unexpected abuse of what they imagined as their honor. They hit backor so they thought. "The Proud Boys Now Mock Trump" is how a New York Times headline characterized their criticism.

With all due respect to the headline writer, the people being mocked are the right-wing rioters facing criminal charges after being turned in by their children, ex-wives and (former) employers. Trump is back at Mar-a-Lago, smelling the sweet chlorine from his swimming pool and playing golf.

The insurrectionists now have their own lawyers. Despite the "heinous" nature of their acts, some of the legal advisers have taken the tack of portraying their clients as naive nitwits.

The lawyer representing the "QAnon Shaman" says the would-be actor regrets what he did but was duped by Trump. And he refers to his client in clownish termsas "the guy with the horns and the fur, the meditation and organic food. "

The Proud Boys are now saying in online posts that the group should drop politics and abandon both parties. They may be on to something, finally.

I am sure that if you asked Vice-President Kamala Harris today if her running mate, President Joe Biden, was a racist. She would say he is not a racist.

We know Joe much better today than a year ago, at least those who care to learn.
What a load of nonsense. Your childish and ignorant attacks against me are just a reflection of what a stupid little troll you truly are. You are laughable.

I've asked the same question twice and you've yet to give me a real answer. You're obviously afraid of answering my question.

Did you mean to say that Biden was a racist but not anymore? He stopped being a racist after he let Camela Harris in on his ticket? LOL!

You didn't even the mention the lizard woman and the horse face with the crazy eyes. Is the lizard woman a racist or is the horse face a crazy SJW plying the race card?

If Biden isn't a racist, Camela Harris must be a true wacko running around and falsely accusing people of being racists.

Calling the president "illegitimate" and pretending that Russia "stole" the election is a sure way to undermine the confidence of US elections, and that's what Hillary Clinton did.

    Truth 1 - 0 Scatmandoo.

Hillary attending the inauguration is irrelevant.

    Truth 2 - 0 Scatmandoo.

According to me Trump did the right thing, if you disagree then it's your personal and highly uninteresting opinion.

    Truth 3 - 0 Scatmandoo.

People are responsible for their own actions, trying to blame everything bad on Trump is a typical move for dishonest left-wing radicals.

    Truth 4 - 0 Scatmandoo.

    In hard-hitting conference, press demands

In hard-hitting press conference, press demands to know Biden's favorite Disney princess.

"Washington, the. See. —In a brutal press conference this morning, courageous journalists asked hard-hitting questions of the incoming administration. In one particularly tense exchange, Press Secretary Jen Psaki was forced to reveal President Biden's favorite Disney Princess.

"Please, Miss Press Secretary, Please! Please!" asked CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins. "We need to know President Biden's favorite Disney princess! Is it Belle? Or maybe Jasmine?" she said while waving her hand and jumping up and down.

"Wow, what a fantastic question," responded Psaki. "I haven't asked the President that, so I will have to get back to you. Whoever it is, I'm sure his favorite is an empowered woman of color."

Undeterred, the press pool continued to follow up on the question, demanding a clearer answer.

"OK, fine," responded a slightly frustrated Psaki, "It's Moana. His favorite is Moana."

"NO IT'S NOT! Came a muffled voice from behind the curtain that sounded a lot like Joe Biden. "My favorite is that one with all the hair! Rappatootie! Rattatatpunzle! Refunzle! Whatever her name is! Hey! Let go of me! Where are you taking me?" "I don't want to go back down in the basement!

There was the sound of a scuffle from behind the curtain and the voice faded away.

As the press conference resumed, journalists continued to grill the Press Secretary, asking further tough hard hitting questions like:

"Does President Biden prefer puppy kisses or kitty cuddles?

"So. Does President Biden like being President?

"Who is his favorite ninja turtle?

"Can I go to the bathroom please? I'm sorry, MAY I go to the bathroom?

Journalists everywhere have praised Biden's new press conferences as "A welcome return to civility and truth."

The New York Times also praised the press conference and ran a 12-page in-depth report on why Biden's choice of Moana as the best Disney princess is brilliant.

    So refreshing!

Democrats just getting started. Wonder what Kambala Harris if given have a chance would do to people who use this website and engage in the activities under discussion here? And it isn't only about 'in America': just look at Julian Assange and what happens to other 'deplorables' and anyone else they don't like.

As to your claim, you couldn't be more wrong. What kind of bizarre bubble are you living in? The Democrats are actively working against USA being a meritocracy. Affirmative action is the opposite of being a Meritocracy and "confident enough in their individual abilities".

You are actively working for USA to become a sectarian country like Lebanon. I'm sure that will work out good.

I appreciate your reasonable response and reply to my lengthy post. lol. As you can see I am into this kind of lively political discussion on a more reality-based historical data and record of results level as you seem to be as well. I should have cited and lauded your observations on some good and bad on both sides before. Well, I am not a fan of "bothsiderism" in political analysis, not saying you are, because it tends to elevate the side that consistently promotes policies that crash the economy and denigrates the side that consistently recovers us from those crashes, only serving to help the former win elections over the latter. I'll pass on that nicety until I see it helping more Dems win over Repubs, which I have yet to witness. But some points you made were very much worth considering.

    Special Counsel Report Volume 2

Trump fired FBI Director James Comey shortly after Comey refused to end the investigation into Michael Flynn. Vol 1 ,pg 75.

Trump tried to get Attorney General Jeff Sessions to protect him by limiting the investigation into himself and his associates. Vol 2 pg 97,112,113.

Trump ordered White House Counsel Donald McGsnn to fire Special Counsel Mueller, but McGann refused. Trump then ordered McGann to lie about the attempted firing and create false records. Vol 2 pg 89,120.

Trump actively discouraged his senior aides charged with crimes from cooperating by suggesting the possibility of pardons or threatening them in public and private. Vol 2, pg 120-228,144-152.

The report concludes that President Trump personally helped write a false statement for his son to give the public about a meeting with Russian operatives at the campaign headquarters. He falsely claimed the meeting was to discuss adoption policy, rather than the real purpose, to get information benefiting his campaign and damaging his opponent. Vol 2 pg 101-103.

In short, Mueller indicated that the report was an impeachment referral, leaving the matter to the House of Representatives.

"Congress May apply obstruction laws to the President's corrupt excercise of the powers of office accords with the constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law " Vol 2, pg 8.

He will be sued in court for it. He will be tried by the Senate for it. And it will be the pivotal moment of his presidency in the history books. He blew it on Covid and the on the election. Thirdly, why don't you dump this philandering, impestuous, big spending, no military service, not SAT exam, small dick (acc. To Stormy) buffoon, ShooBree. The Republican party needs you on the side of an electable person.

Booms and busts, Dems and Reps, our liberal friends on this forum do not get it. Both parties had both. Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich balanced the budget and created massive wealth. A dem pres and a rep congress may not be so bad after all. And vice versa.

Bill lived out his manly impulses which I appreciate. George Bush senior had a fling. Kennedy was awesome. Al Gore was a big time philanderer but too strange for comfort for me. Ronald Reagan was a Saint. W took cocaine. Obama smoked. I like people with vices. So I probably like ShooBree, even though he is a lost soul, post Trump coma.

It's easy to see that I'm right and you've forgotten what happened after Trumps beautiful victory in 2016.

Trump can't and shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of others. Just as the liberal media and liberal politicians shouldn't be held responsible for the riots / terrorism caused by their fellow ideologists.

Imagine you are Andrew Giuliani, son of Rudy Giuliani.

Washed out as a professional golfer that went nowhere after seven years.

Dad has gotten you a job working for the Trump campaign for $95 K a year.

In 5 days Andrew Giuliani will turn 35 years old.

Headlines today read that the large inheritance he was expecting, especially since Dad contracted Covid.

Will probably never cross the palms of his privileged hands, but instead likely going to Dominion Voting because of the lies Rudy can't stop singing.
