With the Russians cutting off gas this winter, Europe is faced with the ultimate irony, people freezing their asses off this winter in the name of protecting the planet from global warming. And this too is something global warming nuts never mention, way more people die of cold related injuries every year than heat.

Rationally speaking, a move away from polluting coal was smart, but coal is not singled out. All fossil fuels, including super clean natural gas, are treated the same.

First of all, don't change the subject. The question at hand is is it premature to attribute the number of surplus death to the COVID vaccine.

And it is not confirmation bias when the conclusion that the COVID vaccines are effective when it is backed by the results of a number of double blind tests with the results vetted by experts in the field. Your argument that Dr Fauci and the rest catching COVID despite having 4 shots of the vaccine is proof that the vaccines do not work makes me wonder do you understand basic immunology? What do you expect a vaccine developed against the original strain of COVID can do against a very mutated strain? As for your question about a pandemic amongst the unvaccinated, I need again to ask: do you understand the dynamics of a infectious disease? The situation 2 years ago where people have no immunity against COVID is very different from the situation today where most people have immunity? Also, it is silly to talk about "a pandemic of the unvaccinated" when the vaccinated and the unvaccinated are not segregated, and with the large number of people who have immunity, the unvaccinated have a free ride because of herd immunity.

What matters is the preponderance of data.
