So what. Were you registered to vote? Do you remember what you signed? You probably don't, but I'll bet that you signed a form stating that it was illegal to vote (and against both state and federal law) if you weren't a citizen. While I was voting a bus pulled up carrying about 40 Hispanics that spoke no English. Can't speak English. Can't read English. Do you think they read it was illegal to vote if they weren't legal. In California democrats were busing thousands of people to vote who spoke no English. In many cases they only voted for the president. And you really think illegals didn't vote? Your original, bolded comment is, therefore completely incorrect. Democrats need 60 votes to pass any non-budgetary bills. This might be news to you, but the "Build Back Better" plan is budgetary and therefore not subject to the filibuster. But you'd need a third grade understanding of civics to make that distinction.

They do not need one Republican to vote for anything as they have enough democrats to vote to pass everything. If I hire a team of 10 contractors to repair the damage done to my house with a 30 day deadline to get it done and on day one 5 of them announce they'll gladly accept the money but have no intention of doing any work for it, offer any ideas or contribute to the process at all, I'm going to blame those 5 deadbeats for whatever I DON'T get for my money at the end of those 30 days.

I'm not talking about the one bill where the Dems included a sliver of projects Repub deadbeats were ok to approve because they always approve them when they are put on the table for a vote (deadbeat Repub Moscow Mitch never put them up for a vote when he was Senate majority leader under Trump, but worker Dem Schumer did under Biden). If they don't vote for those things when given the chance their constituents fire them from their cushy job so there is little praise to be handed out for that.

That's like praising the 5 deadbeat contractors in my analogy for using my toilet to take a shit while they're collecting pay for doing nothing rather than unloading in their own lunch bucket.
